CA certificate missing in database while importing certificate in ABAP
Hello,
We have installed SAP cryptographic libraries and generated a SSL PSE. Later we generated the CSR and sent to verisign. While importing the signed certificate we are constantly getting the error message "CA certificate missing in database" .
We have created an entry in STRUSTCERT table using SE16 and but still we are getting the same error message. Please let me know how to get rid of this error message and proceed further.
Thanks,
Praveen
Hi Olivier,
Thanks for your suggestion!
Do you have to copy them in a specific order? Meaning, the txt file starts with:
BEGIN CERTIFICATE (of certificate response) -
MIIGJDCCBY2gAwIBAgIKeAhSUQADAAAqhkiG9w0BAQUFADCBhDELMAkG
END CERTIFICATE-----
BEGIN CERTIFICATE ( of subCA certificate)-----
MIIGJDCCBY2gAwIBAgIKeAhSUQADAAAqhkiG9w0BAQUFADCBhDELMAkG
END CERTIFICATE-----
BEGIN CERTIFICATE ( of CA certificate)-----
MIIGJDCCBY2gAwIBAgIKeAhSUQADAAAqhkiG9w0BAQUFADCBhDELMAkG
END CERTIFICATE-----
or the order matters and is the other way round? I am asking this question since after cut© am having an error on testing the connection.
I'm getting:
'the verification of the server's certificate chain failed
Can't get path because the chain of certificates is incomplete'
I'm quite sure that all the certificates were included....
Thanks Olivier

SAP: CA certificate missing in database while importing certificate in ABAP
Hi
We have a similar problem as the one described in
CA certificate missing in database while importing certificate in ABAP
however we ordered the certificate from SAP.
The only error is:
CA certificate missing in database
Message no. TRUST057
Diagnosis
The certificate response can only be processed if the certificate of
the CA is stored in the database.
Procedure
Store the CA certificate in the database.
We believe we have done it in similar way before.
Do you know how to handle this?
Thank you for your input.
Best regards
Flemming GrandHi
I created an oss on this which sap now has responded on.
The certificate they sent to me was wrong - did't include the roor certificate (and the intermidiate - I think).
When I recieved the complete certificate I could import without any problems.

SSL Strust : Issuer certificate missing in database
Hi,
I am apply ssl in Abap stack STRUST. When i apply the certificate respond from the CA , it showing error
Issuer certificate missing in database:CN=DigiCert High Assurance CA-3, OU=www.digicert.c
Any idea??
ThanksIn Strust, goto Certificate->Database, create a new "ROOT CA" entry ex;Z_NETCA.
Select any PSE(System PSE) ->Certificate->Import and Import the "Issuer Certificate".
Certificate->Export->Database>Select Z_NETCA, CA, Some description ->OK
Now you will be able to import your certificate response without any issues.
To Get the "Issuer Certificate" open your certificate response(certificate) , goto Certification Path TAB and select the next level higher to your Server CA and ->View Certificate->Goto Details tab and Copy to File->Export in base64 or DER format. -
Images missing in numbers while imported from excel
Hey guys, I'm new here.
I am having some problem with the mentioned issue, some images went missing when I import the excel file to numbers. It's an excel (.xls) file with my stock list, a lot of small images (JPG) and the whole file size is 6MB. The missing images is also in JPG and the size is almost the same as others. Can anyone help me on this? Thank you very much!I see exactly the same problem.
I think this is a very fundamental problem but cannot get any answer.
Is there anyone in Apple (or iWork designer) out there? Please help this!!! -
Missing required library while importing projects to the dev-studio
Hi all,
I imported my projects in my new developer studio (sp15) from the old one (sp13).
After that i changed the paths of the required libraries as far as i found them.
But some of them i cannot find:
webdynpromodel_webservice.jar
webdynpromodel_webservice_default.jar
webdynproportal.jar
cache_api.jar
cache_plugins.jar
cachemhmt.jar
These libraries are in a web dynpro project.
Has someone an idea where i could find them or are they replaced by others in SP15?
ThxHello Florian,
just do a windows explorer search in
C:SAPIDEIDE70eclipseplugins
for example the new folder for webdynpromodel_webservice.jar is
C:SAPIDEIDE70eclipsepluginscom.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice_2.0.0lib
Maybe you should create a new webdynpro project. Abort the wizard as soon as possible and just copy all the files from the src folder to the new project. That should work also.

Please advise me to solve this issue.
Thanks,
VenkatHi Deepak,
thanks for your reply.
yes i have entered correct Pin and in the first step i have moved local.pse and cred_v2, certreq, srcert files to C:/saprouter/backup folder
After executing import command it has given error first time so i copied local.pse file to C:\saprouter folder and executed but same error result.

Error in migration of portal ..while importing
hi all,
iam trying to migrate portal 3.0.9.8.0 from a 9.0.1.2 database to another 9.0.1.2 database. i have exported all the required users successfully. then i created the required tables spaces and users in the target database. while importing users, it imports tables and views but when it encounters a wrapped package body it throws error...but it creates the package spec properly.
the error is,
IMP-00017 following statement failed with oracle error 3113.
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 3113 encountered
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
but i tried importing a user which doesnt have any wrapped packages. that was imported successfully.
what could the error, is there any work around for this or is this error due to something else.can anyone help me on this..this is really urgent.
regds
Kiranhi andrea,
when i retry importing also, it fails at the same point. the size of the package is big.but everytime it encounters that package,it stops. it works fine when i import other users.is it the problem due to wrapped packages. my database version is 9.0.1.2

Sequence tag error while importing the SSL certificate into ".keystore" fil
I have created the ".keystore " file successfully and also imported the "root.cer".
but while importing the SSL certificate it says like
"keytool error: java.security.cert.CertificateException: IOException: Sequence ta
g error" (I got the certificate from Verisign)
How to resolve this Error?
can anyone help me?
mail to:: [email protected]
Thanks in AdvanceHi,
I resolved this error by making it sure that there are no extra spaces or unwanted caracter copied while copying the certificate response from the CA. Make sure you are copying the certificate response properly. In my case, some extra space was getting copied so after re-copyinf it properly, it worked. -

I think you have to specify the client root in your weblogic.properties
file.
here are my settings:
weblogic.security.enforceClientCert=true
weblogic.security.certificate.server=democert.pem
weblogic.security.key.server=demokey.pem
weblogic.security.certificate.authority=ca.pem
weblogic.security.clientRootCA=VeriSignClass1CA.der

Getting error while exporting certificate to OIF Certificate Validation
Hi All,
Currently I am working with Oracle identity federation 10.1.4.0.1. I am facing one problem while exporting certificate to Certificate Validation, the error I am getting after importing certificate at console is:
ERROR - oracle.security.crypto.asn1.ASN1FormatException: Got tag 0 instead of 16.
Write failed: Broken pipe
But It doesn't displaying any error in webapge after exporting certificate.
Any help in this regard really appreciated.
Thanks,
Iceman
Edited by:OIF version includedIf the certificate is in text PEM format, please ensure that the actual certificate content is enclosed within:
-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
MII................
-----END CERTIFICATE-----
Thats all. It should also not have the certificate in text. Just the content within those lines.
Hope this helps. -
E-Sourcing importing Certificate to the Keystore
Hi gurus
We are currently stuck while we try to implement LDAP integration. We are trying to import the secure SSL certificate into the keystore under java home on our server and it is not recognising the imported certificate.
Syntax we are using is:
C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\jre\bin>keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias us01.apmn.org -file D:\eso\keystore\agi76_ssl_response.crt -keystore C:\j2sdk1.4.2_14\jre\lib\security\cacerts
It says successfully imported. However we are not able to Synchronize our Microsoft AD on 636 port.
Our certificates are issued by a Certificate Server not an AD Domain controller. Does this matter?
PLEASE HELP
Thanks

Edited by: JS on Jul 30, 2009 9:35 PMI finally succeeded in importing an image with a file location. The problem is the DataLocationID you had to provide. This is a GroupNode and it´s a hierarchical structure. You had to split the filename into the path components and create nodes in the tree for every component.

Importing Certificates into Blackberry Z10 Key Store.
Currently, on the development network, we have stood up a BES10 server with a few Blackberry Z10 phones deployed. Using BES10, we are able to push the Root CA certificate for our developmental CA. We are currently unable to import the client's certificates (identity, encryption or signing) in *.p12 or *pfx format onto the device. We have tried numerous methods with limited success. Originally, we emailed a certificate using the work email exchange server and were able to view the certificates on the BB device. We are even able to select "Import certificate," submit the correct password and are presented with a messages stating "Certificate successfully imported." However, looking at the trust store or the S/MIMIE settings, none of the client's certificates are avaliable.
After some research, we followed the steps highlighted in tech support listed at http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/47561/als1342708099072.jsp. After following the instructions on screen, selecting the appropriate certificates to import and presenting the correct PIN, the device attemps to import the certs. The device then states "0/3 certificates succesfully imported" and the process has failed.
Is there a log file avaliable to see what is causing the import to fail or is there an additional step we are missing? Any support would be helpful, thank you in advance.Hey Shah_jeet,
Welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Are you importing the certificate using a USB connection or using a Wi-Fi connection?
Thanks.
