Calculation Add to A Specific Subtotal Based on Drop Drown

I have for dynamic form with repeating fields. There are three subtotals one for each sales person (that do not repeat). I would like to add the sum for each sales person from the "Sales" field depending on which sales person is selected in the "SalesPerson" drop down field. Please note that these are not in tables, but just Text, Drop Down and Numeric fields lined up like a table.
Example:
                    TotalSales
Jill                    35
Bobby              20
Mike                 30
     Total            85
Sales Person     Sales
Jill                       10

Is there any way you could direct me to a form that is even closer to what I am trying to achieve? Please note that in the bottom half of my example the sales person's name is in a drop down.

Performing Calculation based on drop down selection

I need help with simple calculation. Im building an estimate form, and have the fields:
"Total" (manually entered total amount)
"GrandTotal" (automatically calculates Total*1.07 to add 7% NJ sales tax)
Next I have 3 drop down boxes with payment options, and then text fields to receive $$ amounts based on drop-down selection:
"1st Payment Option" (options: 50% down, 100% paid in full, custom entry)
"2nd Payment Option" (options: 50% at completion, 25% in 14 days, custom entry)
"3rd payment Option" (options: 25% completion, custom entry)
For whichever options are selected in the drop-downs, i'd like the text fields to auto-fill.
(Text fields are titled "1st Payment", "2nd Payment", "Final Payment".
So how do I take the value from "GrandTotal" and get it to automatically be calculated by 50%, 25% or whatever and be filled into separate text fields?

It can be done with proper form design. You can use the any of the 3 calculation options but some may require some extra form fields and you can specify a numeric value to a drop down option that is different from the displayed text.

OIM - Email notification to a specific user based on a dynamic rule

Hello, After creation of account in a particular target resource I need to send an email to a specific user based on the location of the user (e.g area admin).
In the notification tab of process tasks, I see only "Assignee", "Requestor", "User", "User Manager"? How can I achive the above specified requirement?
Before posting this question, I tried to search the forum for any previous posts related to this. But I couldn't find any. May be I was not searching with right key words.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You'll need to custom code an adapter to send the email, then you can send to any user you want. Create a new task and trigger it off the completion response code. You can use the following apis:
tcEmailNotificationUtil sendMail = new tcEmailNotificationUtil(ioDatabase);
sendMail.setBody("Type your body here or use a string variable");
sendMail.setSubject("Type your subject here or use a string variable");
sendMail.setFromAddress("[email protected]");
sendMail.sendEmail("[email protected]");
Just populate the above pieces with the information needed.

Please help.
I need to send notification to a specific person based on condition. When a specific hold is placed on an invoice, send a notification to the Buyer who is referenced on the Purchase Order that is associated with that invoice. It will be an FYI notification.
I'm looking at APINVHDN AP Hold Maiin Process. I thought possibly adding a notification into the "No" condition after the GET_APPROVER function since there would not be an approver on the invoice since it's on hold.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Hello,
Can any one please advise me on how to assign a task to a specific user based on the value of the drop down list from the form. E.g. user fills the form and before they submit the form they have to select one of the name from the drop down list so the form can go to that person for approval.

I got it works now by using the xpath expression (in workbench) to assign to the selected user from the DDL in the form.

Dynamically updating a value based on drop down menus

Hi,
I am trying to make a website for a new computer company.
Part of the website allows you to choose different componets, like
the Dell website. It has different drop downs like CPU, Case,
motherboard etc which list the option we have chosen then it gets
all of the records from each database. So for CPU it checks to see
what motherboard is selected and displays all of the CPUs that are
compatible with that bpard from the CPU data base.
It has the price at the bottom of the page which is
calculated by adding all the prices of the drop down menus together
but if I change an option it doesn't change the price.
How can I have the price dynamically change based on
different values being selected from the drop down boxes?

You'd do some kind of onChange with the select. Get the value
of the current index in the select and pass that over to whatever
needs it.
Using a JavaScript framework may be best and easiest - like
jQuery. It allows you to do stuff like this quite easily. Though
I'm no expert either - just getting into it.
Are these chained selects then? I also think there's a CF
only version / custom tag out there for this - but it would require
a page refresh everytime the list is changed.
You could also use AJAX I guess.

My problem is that I'm working with the free version of Form Central - I'm willing to purchase a version. Earlier in my form I have States as a drop down menu (see below) but can't copy it to make it appear later in the same document. I was trying to avoid recreating the entire form. Any tips on copying or duplicating a field inside a document.

Hi,
You can add New status to the Drop Down menu by defining a catalog,codegroups & code group profiles to that...... Once assigned assign them to the Subject profiles and assign this subject profile to the transaction type that is assigned.
This would populate all the profiles that u have mentioned in the subject profile.

How can I add a blank value in a standard drop down list

Hello,
I have a requirement to add a blank value into the standard drop down list of for i.e. the search criteria
"created on" -> (values are: yesterday/today/last week etc).
The problem is, that this field has always the default value "yesterday" but our customer wants to have a blank field as default.
Can anybody provide me steps how can I add this blank value ?

You can open the form in Acrobat, select "File > Save a Copy", open the copy you just saved (it doesn't happen automatically), edit the dropdown to add the new item, save as a new file, and then Reader-enable the file by selecting: File > Save As Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools. The resulting PDF should work with FormsCentral just like the original.

It depends on the type of option. If each option has a separate price, then I don't know of a way to add more than 10 options since those options with the prices are encoded into the button id. (Well, you could encode the information yourself with PayPal's API, but that is way more involved than I've been willing to tackle.) If you have more than 10 options such as color, scent, etc that don't affect the price, then you can edit the code you have added to your website to add additional items in the list.
