Calendar Displays CDT time in Description

Hello All,
I am on iOS 8.2 and my calendar on my iPad displays CDT time zone in my description events. My iPad calendar synchronizes from Microsoft Exchange Outlook calendar. I am located in Eastern Time and whenever I accept calendar invites it displays CDT in the calendar description on the iPad. On the left side of the calendar (day view) the meetings goes into the correct time slot for Eastern Time but it displays CDT time in description. So we have this dual time zone issue and can be confusing.
How can I have CDT time display disappear from my Calendar description?
I tried:
1) Manually setting my location in calendar and general in the iPad.
2) Resetting my iPad.
3) Contacting my Exchange admin and make sure my time zone is set correctly on their end.
Nothing works, I spoke to Apple Senior level Support and there is no solutions. Is this similar to the GMT bug or something on my end?. Because I never had this issue since i upgraded to 8.0 iOS
Thanks!

I have the same issue since updating to iOS 8. Search for GTM bug. Sounds like we have to wait for Apple to fix their end for MS Exchange accounts.

  • Outlook 2013 calendar displays wrong time on iPhone calendar

    I would like to start by saying this is definitely NOT a time zone issue.  I have researched the internet and apple and have not been able to find a solution as of yet.  This is also not restricted to my phone.  We have our work calendar in Outlook 2013.  When it syncs to my iPhone 5c and my boss' iPhone 4s it displays the time of the event exactly 7 hours earlier.  I have checked the Outlook time zone and the iPhone time zone (in both places, general and the mail/contacts/calendar settings).  They are all displayed in the current time zone.  I have selected and deselected the auto setting for the time zone as well.  Nothing has worked!  I'm wondering if it has something to do with an update.  It was working just fine for years and now all of a sudden displays the wrong time.  PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

    Hi Cath,
    Yes, it is a by default settings to delete meeting requests after it is responded. As what Vasil says, we can change the following Outlook settings to leave the meeting request message in Inbox:
    1. Click File > Options.
    2. In Mail option, on Send messages part, uncheck Delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding option.
    3. Click OK to save the settings.
    Then check whether the issue persists.

  • Iphone calendar displaying wrong times in day/week view

    I work a lot of night shifts and consequently I input a lot of night shifts to my iphone calendar. They usually work. However, in a couple of weekends time I have some nights which I have input as starting on 30th march 20.45 ending 31st march 08.00, but are showing as starting 30th march 8am ending 20.45!30th march in any of the graphic views. In the event the times and dates are correct
    I've tried deleting and reinputting, tinkering with the time zone and more but nothing is working and it's driving me spare!
    Suggestions please!

    Never use  "Timezone support";  Settings/MailContactsCalendars/Calendars.
    When the settings are correct in the event, and not corresponding in the display:
    Do a "reset": hold the Power Button and the Home Button at the same time, keep holding, when you see the white apple logo appear, let go and let the 5s start.

  • HT4623 iOS 8 version 8.1.2 issues with the calendar displaying wrong TIME ZONE!

    I just updated to iOS 8 using version 8.1.2 and am having issues with the calendar.  I use my GMAIL calendar and sync to my iPhone and now any calendar entries that I add from my phone display the current time zone AND GMT time.  Entries that were already there display correctly.  New entries entered from the GMAIL calendar also display correctly.  The issue is with NEW entries entered on my PHONE into the calendar.  This is very annoying and causes problems for new entries that need EDITED.  Once opened to edit it defaults to GMT time!  WRONG!!  I have turned off the automatic time zone feature and Time Zone Override in Settings but it's still WRONG!  There are multiple reports of this online so I would like to know when/if it will be corrected or if there is a fix!  Please help!!

    Quite the same problem here, GMT, UTC.......
    Why when they do an update they don't check it completely???

  • Z10 Calendar display and time do not match (off by 1 hour)

    I live in Saskatchewan and have my Z10 date and time set to Sask -6. I go to the calendar, create a new event, enter the time as 7:30 am and save. The calendar shows the event at 8:30 am. If you select the item and edit it, it is correctly listing the time as 7:30. I am guessing that there is a bug to do with the daylight savings time (the time never changes in Saskatchewan) and I cannot find any setting to disable the time change.

  • CProject descriptions in Display working time report

    Hi Gurus,
    in our system we set the integration with HR, and we tranfer via ALE personnel numbers from R/3 to BP in cProject. We record time with timesheet to wbs linked to cProject tasks.
    I have a problem in report CATS_DA "Display working time" with cProject descriptions
    In this report, fields CPR_TEXT & CPR_OBJTEXT in the CATSDB_ALV output structure are always blank. I checked table IAOM_CPRO_EXAT in R/3, where cProject description can be found, but it seems that no access to this table is done when executing CATS_DA.
    Any idea how to show cproject task and project destription in CATS_DA?
    Thanks in advance
    Roberto

    Hi Roberto,
    I think, the description of the project should be retrieved remotely from cProject system.
    You can apply the check report in

    and debug the result of the call:
    Get worklist for cProjects

  • Calendar displays 24 hours versus 12 hours

    I somehow inadvertinly changed my daily and weekly calendar display to 24 hours.  In day or week view, there are 24 hour segments.  Does anyone know how to change back to a 12 hour display?

    Hi Bob
    Ok Try this one, now if a time was specified, it should be used:
    $SiteCode = Read-Host -Prompt "SiteCode"
    $SiteServer = Read-Host -Prompt "Servername (FQDN)"
    $CollectionsToChange = (Get-WmiObject -Namespace "root\sms\site_$SiteCode" -Class "SMS_Collection" -ComputerName $SiteServer | Select Name, __PATH |Out-GridView -OutputMode Multiple)
    foreach ($collectionObj in $CollectionsToChange){
    try{
    $collection = [wmi]"$($collectionObj.__Path)"
    $collection.RefreshType = 2
    if($collection.RefreshSchedule -ne $null){
    $interval = ($collection.RefreshSchedule)[0]
    $Interval.HourSpan = 12
    } else {
    $IntervalClass = Get-WmiObject -List -Namespace "root\sms\site_$SiteCode" -Class "SMS_ST_RecurInterval" -ComputerName $SiteServer
    $Interval = $IntervalClass.CreateInstance()
    $Interval.HourSpan = 12 #Update after 12 hours
    $collection.RefreshSchedule = $Interval
    $collection.put()
    Write-Host -ForegroundColor green "$($collection.Name): $($collection.CollectionID)"
    } catch {
    Write-Host -ForegroundColor red "ERROR: $($collection.Name): $($collection.CollectionID): $($_.Exception.Message)"

  • Calendar display incorrect

    Hi,
    I created a crystal report that requests the user to select a date range from a calendar however the calendar  doesn't display properly.
    it displays the calendar but with code inserted into some of the boxes...and the calendar display looks strange
    the code that displays is:
    function(){ this.length=0; return this;}
    Can anyone help?

    I had the same issue, I changed the time zone to something other than the correct zone. Saved it. Then went back in and changed it back to correct timezone and this resolved my issue.

  • Calendar Display - Hours Spacing

    When I first had my Q10, the Calendar, when in the "Day" mode, displayed the time in 1/2 hour increments.  Now it has switched to displaying in 1 hour increments.  This means that the words saying what the appointment is are not visible, in the case of those appointments that are less than a full hour long.  I have to open up the appointment to see what it is.  So I would like to change the display back to where the hours are more widely spread from top to bottom.  I have not figured out where that secret setting can be found.  Does anybody know?

    You can try changing the color settings in Outlook.
    In Calendar, click Calendar Coloring, and then click Edit Labels.
    You can also try changing the background, or creating a new Google Calendar with a different color setting.

  • IOS 6 calendar display jumps to different dates????

    iOS 6 calendar display jumps around. On my iPod touch 5, iOS 6, after editing an event, the display jumps to random list dates before ending up on the correct date.  These gyrations take several seconds and will dwell on the wrong date for a while.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • No Calendar Display

    I have a new iPhone5 with iOS 6.0.2 installed. iCloud is set up.  My problem is I cannot get any calendar to acutally display.  I can see list of calendars, can hide names of calendars, can Show calendars, and change the color of a calendar.  But at no time does an actual calendar display.  Help!

    It doesn't seem to work for me neither...
    Not as explained here: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25329_01/doc/appdev.102/b25309/bldapp.htm#CEGIGEJI
    I also found an error in the help for the "Item Containing End Date". There's stated that the date format should be YYYMMDD... I suppose that's YYYYMMDD (like in the online doc)
    I didn't see that before... bizar.

  • SharePoint 2013 Workflow Calendar Entry Create Time AM PM Conflict

    Windows 2012, SharePoint 2013 Enterprise.
    I have a change control form that basically creates a calendar entry once it's been approved. Works well, but discovered a bug with the calendar create portion when there are events that have the same time in AM\PM.
    Use case:
    1. Create a change control item in the list with a planned start time of 2PM, I'll approve it, which then fires off a workflow and it will create an event in the change control calendar for 2PM, all good.
    2. Create another change control item in the list with a planned start time of 2AM this time, I'll approve it, which then fires off a workflow and it will create an event in the change control calendar for 2PM and not 2AM. ???
    Yes the original event entry created in the list shows planned start time of 2AM, but its being created in the calendar entry as 2PM. This only happens when the time is exact. For example if I had created the second entry at 3PM, it will create the calendar
    entry at 3PM. It only happens if there is an existing entry for the same time, then all subsequent entries for the same time will have the same AM\PM depending on the first entry.
    I can manually create an entry in the calendar and specify 2PM and it will take, so its something with the workflow that is causing it. The workflow is very simple all its doing is checking the item to see if the field says approved for the change request
    form if so, create calendar event and carry over the fields, planned start time, planned end time, title description, that's it.

    Hi James,
    In my test per your description, I cannot reproduce the issue, however, I attached the screenshot of my test for your reference, let me know if there is misunderstanding.
    Please capture the screenshot of your workflow process design so I can try to reproduce or find out if there is action that may cause the issue.
    In addition, could you please try to locate workflow error message? If there is obvious error information, please refer to the Activate Workflow Manager Logs part in the article below:
