Calendar not showing time

Although the datatype of the item calling the calendar is DATETIME, the calendar is not showing the time part. I do notice that the size of the window has been enlarged and buttons been moved in order to show the calendar_time canvas, but it doesn't.
Has anyone out there faced the same problem?!

It could be you are running into bug #2497339.
For an item with datatype 'DATETIME' the calendar-LOV contains the following
errors:
- if the item contains no value the current time should be displayed. For the
hours is this always '1:' instead of the current hour. If the item contains a
date and time the right time is displayed.
- the radio group 'AM-PM' contains 4 buttons. Only the radio buttons 'AM' and
'PM' should be displayed (i can't figure out what the purpose is of the others
two). The others radio buttons are displayed too. If your running on the web
just in front of the hours the radion button is displayed, the label is
covered by the hours. But if your running client/server the hours is covered
by the label. I think that only the radio buttons 'AM' and 'PM' should be
displayed.
Workaround:
I've created the following workaround:
I've changed in the object-library the trigger 'KEY-LISTVAL' for the items
'CGSO$datetime' and 'CGSO$datetime_do' in the following:
declare
l_cursor_item VARCHAR2(200) := :system.cursor_item;
l_null_value BOOLEAN := false;
begin
set_radio_button_property('CALENDAR.AM_PM','CGSO$RADIO_BUTTON',visible,property
_false);
set_radio_button_property('CALENDAR.AM_PM','CGSO$RADIO_BUTTON_DO',visible,prope
rty_false);
if :system.cursor_value is null
then
copy(sysdate,l_cursor_item);
l_null_value := true;
end if;
qms$calendar.key_listval;
if l_null_value
then
copy(null,l_cursor_item);
end if;
end;

  • Calendar not showing times?

    In Calendar, is there a way to see the time of the event when the app is in "Month" view? Right now, it just list the events, and you have to open the event or go into "week" view to see what time it starts.

    Hi shandries,
    Great question. How large do you have the calendar window open? Start times for events should show in month view to the right, however they do disappear if the window is too small to show this information. On my 13-inch MacBook Pro, the window needs to be about 4/5ths the size of the screen to show event times on the monthly calendar.
    It should look similar to this image (may be hard to see in this image):

  • After Maverick, calendar not showing time of event

    on Friday, my OS was updated to Maverick and now my calendar displys the events but no time on the month view. To see time of events I have to go to week view, which I do not like at all... Anyone knows how to get this resolved? The preferences doe nto give me that choice, at least as far as I can tell. Thanks for the help.

    To see event times in month view, you can either make the Calendar window bigger, or, if you want to keep the window small, you can add the time to event titles.
    (IMO, Calendar works best as a full screen app.)

  • Actual date hours PROBLEM - Displaying or not "Show time" in "User preferences"

    Hello,
    This is my current issue. I have a 5 days calendar with hours 7AM -> 8PM.
    AM ->When I check "show time" in "user preferences", I show the good hours in ES and EF. When I apply AS and AF, AUTOMATICALY the good default hours are applied if i change the date (7AM -> 8PM)...
    But, if i check, "do not show time" in "user preferences" and then i apply AS and/or AF changing date, PRIMAVERA apply automaticaly 00:00 in the hour ans "forget" the hours of the calendar...
    It represent a big big problem for me, first of all in the gantt representation.
    Any idea to fix this issue ?
    Thanks

    I think you need to do setting in grantt chart view setting..as Day,Week,Month in stead of user preference as " do not show time".

  • Shared Office 365 calendars not showing up in iCal

    We are using Microsoft's Office 365 and have users with a variety of devices and applications (Mac/iCal/Mail, Windows/Outlook, iPhone, Android, etc.).
    I am the administrator of the Exchange accounts. I have created four calendars that are viewable by everyone within our organization (just general "company-wide calendars").
    Users with Outlook are able to view those shared calendars just fine. However, I'm not able to add the shared calendars with users using iCal.
    If I add them as a delegate, they can see all my calendars, but if I just share the calendar, they get a "no access" error.
    Here's where I'm setting the shared calendar permissions. I've tried setting them as Reviewer, setting the Default as Reviewer, and setting them as Owner.
    Because it works fine in Outlook, I'm wondering if it's an iCal problem. For cross-referencing purposes, here's my issue at Office 365's community: Shared calendars not showing up in Apple iCal

    Hi All, after much trial and tribulation, this works for me on BusyCal. It is an app you can get on the apple store.
    Calendar should be created then shared with the busycal user. The link does not work, but add exchange account as you would on  Mac Calendar under preference>accounts. The go to the sharing tab and  click plus and type in email of person who shared calendar. It will auto populate. For some reason it does not work under delegation in Mac Calendar
    The  key and where I spent 4 days on the phone with apple and office 365, is  that the owner of the calendar has to share their calendar, named  :"calendar" They can just click the permission "show availability only."  Once they do that, any other calendars they have created and added you  as full permissions or details, you can see. I see nothing on their  calendar called "calendar"  Not the perfect solution, but it works. BusyCal is $30
    If this does not make sense feel free  to message me or I will respond here.

  • Exchange 2010 calendar not showing on outlook 11 Mac

    Exchange 2010 calendar not showing on Outlook 11 Mac on my iMac. It shows fine on iPhone and OWA.

    Since this question is about a Microsoft product, you might have more luck getting suggestions if you ask in Microsoft's own forums.

  • Ical monthly view on ipad not showing time

    My ical preference from my laptop is not carrying over to ipad.  How can I get ical (in monthly view) to show appointment time withou

    No, the appointments will not "get messed up". If you leave time zone support off the calendar will stay exactly as it was at home. If you turn on time zone support for the new time zone you're in ( or other country ) the appointment times will change or convert to times and days in that zone or country. When you turn off time zone support after returning home it'll all convert back to that time zone.
    Example. You have an appointment (10am Thursday) with Joe in your hometown in Chicago. On Tuesday you fly to Tel Aviv and switch Time Zone Support on for Tel Aviv. The calendar will show the upcoming appointment with the newly converted time and date in the calendar. At that new time and date of the appointment it'll be 10am Thursday back home.

  • Calendars not showing on iPad

    I'm trying to set up a shared Gmail calendar on a non tehcy friend's iPad - problem is he's 200 miles away so having to do this over the phone...
    If he enters his Gmail account in Mail, Contacts, Calendars and turns everything off except the calendar (ie turns mail, notes and contacts off), the calendars will NOT show up in Calendar.
    If I do exactly same details on my iPad (both minis running iOS 7) it shows fine.
    If we try turning on mail, he can see that fine, so it's not a problem authenticating with Google.
    Have tried removing and re-adding the account (several times!) and have tried a reboot of the iPad, but we cannot get it to show under "calendars" within the Calendar app.
    Can suggestions as to what's causing this?  It's driving me a little insane!
    Thanks,
    Ed

    Upgrading from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3 has sorted this.

  • Events not showing time in iCal

    I just lost my hard drive last week and now I'm re-entering everything. I'm trying to put my calendar events back into iCal and it no longer shows the time next to the event on the calendar. It used to say for example: "Dr. Appt-3:15" but now it only shows the event and not the time. Is this a change in the last week or do I have some sort of glitch? I do not want to have to click on an event to see the time, I want to just see it all at a glance. I have done all updates.
    Also, maybe someone could explain to me the difference between "New Calendar" and "New Calendar Group"?

    Hi,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
    Is this in Month view? Go to the iCal menu and open Preferences. Under General there is a check box for 'Show time in Month view.'.
    Calendars are how you group events (i.e. make them the same colour). Calendar Groups are how you group calendars (you could have a 'Work' group and a 'Play' group with multiple calendars under each), you can then easily show and hide sets of calendars.
    Best wishes

  • Ical not showing time zones

    Why do iCal invitations not the show time zone of invite? And why does it get the time zone wrong in the calendar of the invited person if that person is on a different time zone?
    Anything I can do about that?

    You need to be posting this in the Calendar forum since you are asking questions about iCal/Calendar.

  • ICloud and Google calendars not showing up on my 4s

    I have an iCloud calendar that shows up when I am logged in online, but not on my iphone 4s. I have the same problem with a Google Calendar. Both are shared and I am not an admin. How can I get them to show up?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    If it isn't showing up at all, it means that Find My Phone hasn't been activated.
    If it's just the location that isn't showing up, it may well mean it isn't connected to a network at this time.

  • Local iCal calendars not showing...

    Hi,
    I set up calendars locally, but they are not showing up in my list. I tried a couple of times, which is why there are four calendars called 'no title'. However, I can only see them when I print a calendar. Then they are listed on the preview, but not selectable as calendars. Would like to delete them, but not sure how...?
    Thank you
    Clemens

    This really helped me, as well. I had upgraded recently to iPhone 2.2 and have a Google Calendar WebDAV calendar set up in iCal, which was subsequently syncing to my iPhone. For whatever reason, the synchronization stopped working and after following your instructions to delete the Calendar Cache files (I had two of them) it started working again! Thanks

  • Calendars not showing up on iPhone

    I have 3 "On My Mac" Calendars on my iPhone and one Calendar that is listed under my Google account name so that it syncs with my workplace's google calendar. Everything works great on my computer, and events add in any calendar show up on my iPhone.
    The problem is, when I add a new event to my iPhone iCal, only the three "On My Mac" calendars show up, and not the one linked to the google account. This really does me no good! It means I have to add to a different calendar, sync to my computer, then switch the event from one calendar to another before it will sync with google. I add so many events everyday, I'd go crazy trying to move all of them.
    How do I get ALL of my Calendars to show up in my iPhone so that I can add events in that calendar?
    thanks

    Help?

  • ICloud Calendars not showing up in iCal

    Hi!
    My iCloud calendars and subsicriptions are not showing up in my iCal Calendar on my Mac. They all appear on the left hand side under the Calendars tab and they are all ticked but only one or two appear in the month to month view. I have tired refreshing them all, I have tired un-syncing and re-syncing from iCloud but this has no effect. The calendars show up fine on my phone and on iCloud though. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

    Note for shared calendars (and this kind of stuff should be MUCH MORE "up front" when you do the switch over Apple!) so you can see them again
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4918
    If you share calendars they will be affected as follows when you move to iCloud:
    Privately shared calendars (such as a family calendar):
    If you share calendar(s) with one or more MobileMe members, sharing settings will be preserved when moving, but the people you are sharing with must also move to iCloud in order to see your shared calendar(s).
    If someone is  sharing a calendar with you, and you move to iCloud, you will no longer be able to see that calendar until the person who is sharing the calendar with you also moves to iCloud.
    Publicly shared calendars (such as a soccer team schedule)
    If you are sharing a calendar publicly, it will be unpublished as part of your move to iCloud. You will need to share your calendar again after moving to iCloud
    ugh.

  • Calendar not showing appointments in today view in iOS 8.0.2

    After updating to iOS 8.0.2 my calendar appointments are not showing up on my today view in notification center. Anyone having the same problem and come across a fix?

    Actually, the update became available after I had connected the phone to my computer and the iTunes on my computer was in the process of downloading the update. I disconnected my phone from the computer midway because it was taking too long.
    So so I with that said, two questions:
    1 - Is it still a virus/scam?
    2 - Smartphones like the iPhone can be infected with viruses? If so I guess I gotta download an antivirus app!
