Call Encryption Software from SAP

There is an encryption software installed in the user's PC.
Some files are being downloaded in to the user's PC from SAP using a report.
Is it possible to call this encryption software in the user's PC to encrypt all the downloaded files from SAP ?

Yes, there are many ways to call the executable program <br>
1) Call by OLE <br>
    You can call by OLE technique only if your encryption program provides OLE objects to be exposed for other applications. For example, call Excel or Word OLE objects from ABAP. You can search on SAP for OLE demonstration<br>
2) Call directly executable program <br>
You can call executable program in your front end station from your abap source code by using fct. module GUI_RUN . This call works only in foreground since the executable program is in your front end station and you have to know the parameters that your external program can accept (ie. you have to read your encryption manual).If you do not know the parameters to be sent to you encryption program then you coud crate a batch file in Windows and run the batch file from ABAP. <br>
Example:<br>

3) Call by DDE (Data dynamic Exchange)

You can call SAP portal from WebI Report...
insert blank cell in the report / or select the cell whaere do you want to in the report
and then Right click and select hyper link.
Enter the portal address
It will be opened in the same or new window based on your settings.
Target Window : New Window ..then it will open new window.

Indeed, web service enablement is available as from Web AS 6.20, thus as from SAP R/3 4.7
So as described above, the solution is indeed to make use of PI(XI) for this.

Calling ABAP Subroutines: PERFORM
You can use the PERFORM command to call an ABAP subroutine (form) from any program, subject to the normal ABAP runtime authorization checking. You can use such calls to subroutines for carrying out calculations, for obtaining data from the database that is needed at display or print time, for formatting data, and so on.
PERFORM commands, like all control commands, are executed when a document is formatted for display or printing. Communication between a subroutine that you call and the document is by way of symbols whose values are set in the subroutine.
The system does not execute the PERFORM command within SAPscript replace modules, such as TEXT_SYMBOL_REPLACE or TEXT_INCLUDE_REPLACE. The replace modules can only replace symbol values or resolve include texts, but not interpret SAPscript control commands.
Syntax in a form window:

The ABAP subroutine called via the command line stated above must be defined in the ABAP report prog as follows:

The values of the SAPscript symbols passed with /: USING... are now stored in the internal table IN_TAB . The internal table OUT_TAB contains names and values of the CHANGING parameters in the PERFORM statement. These parameters are local text symbols, that is, character fields. See the example below on how to return the variables within the subroutine.
From within a SAPscript form, a subroutine GET_BARCODE in the ABAP program QCJPERFO is called. Then the simple barcode contained there (First page, Next page, Last page) is printed as local variable symbol.

How do i call web services from SAP ABAP

Ian working with .net team. they are using sap .net Connector to connect SAP. But my job is In SAP side when Purchase Requisition is created, I have to call web services from ABAP and i have to pass the Purchase Requisition number to web service(.net Program). Please help me how to call web services from ABAP and how to pass value. Any one help me with example.

How can we do this?
We red the redbook http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg244672.pdf. We thought it only mention about sap and externel system is as/400 and it is not related with our issue but we are not sure.

Hi, We also need to call RPG from ABAP via RFC. We have installed the RFC SDK on A/S400 and tried call ABAP RFC from RPG, but still don't know how to make RPG program callable from ABAP

In transaction SM69, you can define an external command. This command can be a perl script, or anything else executable at the OS level. Once defined, you can execute it with transaction SM49, or by defining a step in a background job to execute an external command, or by calling function module SXPG_CALL_SYSTEM in an abap program.

   I have to call the php functions from the r/3. my requirement is that I have to read the mail from the internet adress([email protected]) through php and then send its content in r/3.For that I have to write function in php which are rfc enabled and then call those function in r/3. FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED error when calling C# method from SAP, why?

Hi,
I've build a server stub in order to get SAP calling my own methods that exist in the C# world, for that I developed several methods in a class that extends SAPServer and then implemented them...
I added the special custom properties needed (Abap Name, length, etc) to the function and to its parameters, I've made the ABAP code required to call it...
I've checked, every parameters that I place in ABAP (importing, exporting and tables) are also defined in C# (its 53 parameters) with the same name (in C# they are in capital letters and in a diferent order but I tried this before and it didn't matter)...
The name of the function is the same...
How can I get the 'FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENT' error in SAP?
What's going wrong when I get this error?
Can anyone tell me?
Is there any place in this site that has a error description and possible reasons?
When I get a parameter wrong I get a different error (I tried to make smaller functions and they work fine).

Hi,
I'll explain what I'm doing:
- we have a set of services made in a C and VB that are available using an API in C#, these services must be available to SAP. So I have a program that will see what parameters the API service requires and makes a proxy so that SAP can call these services.
To do this I must map SAP types with C#, build the function signature and then implement it. So I cannot use the wizard to do this
Now, back to the question, what kind of customer attributes I got wrong to get that exception? The most logic is the AbapName of the function but they are equal (the one called in SAP and the one in the customer attributes of the function)...
