Hi all,
I have a report in list format that I insert a link with function 'WWW_SET_URL'. Now i want to run this report in EPortal, how can i call a service(this service is an SAP transaction or an iview) with that link ?

Hi,
My customer has a report listing invoices. A non-SAP program calls a remote function creating an invoice with BAPI. My customer wants the list to be refreshed after the invoice is created via RFC or to refresh the list in specified time intervals.

Adding new row to the reports list page

How can I add a new report row in the reports list of the reports tab.
Ex: a new row to the report "users by Date of Join report" is to be added

The empty line is sorted as the smallest value and incase of DESCENDING it will be the first line (because of the mult by -1).
We could have overide it and incase of the empty row(usualy the last row) do not mult by -1 in DESCENDING mode.
But the problem is that the "+*compare*+" method and it's caller "*+Row+*" inner class are private :-(

How to Call a Crystal Report from Form 6i?

Dear All,
Can anybody tell me how to call a crystal report, designed using Crystal Report 9, in form 6i? I tried one solution by using the host command but it was not working properly. The code I was tried is like:

This open the crystal report in design view. So how we call a report which run automatically like in .Net. How to pass the connection info of the database schema?

Hi
First see the built in run_product function.
You can create a parameter list, add the
"MAXIMIZE" paramter in it and then call your
report with run_product passing your parameter list in it.
hence the called report will be maximized.

Calling bi publisher report from apex.

good morning all,
I have a situation at hand, i want to be able to call bi publisher report from a dropdown list in apex. what i did was to create a table in the oracle db with the report name and url as columns, from apex all i did was to create a list item which queries the table a should display the report using the url. but the report is not showing properly, what do you thinl i can do.
i am using the following verion:
bi publisher: 11g (11.1.1)
apex: 4.2.1.00.08
oracle database: 11.2.0.1.0

KE80 Customized Reports - Listing

Hello,
We have created our own drilldown reports for PCA in KE80 and we are on
ECC 5. We would like to segregate our reports from the standard/delivered
reports from SAP in the KE80 report listing. In the listing of the
drilldown reports in KE80, all the reports are under one folder called
"Reports". Is there a way to create a new folder within KE80 so that we
can put our reports in the new folder and keep the delivered SAP reports
in the original folder? If so, please let me know how to perform this
task.

There is solution to this. You can collect all your reports by creating a separate folder in the EASY ACCESS screen.
This is how it is done :
Go to T,code SE43 and creates a new folder . Here you add the transactions at the lower level ( subnode ) ie the reports in KE80. In the resulting dialog, you will see an option u201C+Reportu201D. This will give you options to add Report painter reports to area menu.

I have used crystal reports from oracle forms in one of my project. Send a mail to this address, i ll reply you back with the source code. My email address is [email protected] .
But if you just want to know the steps here it is :
STEPS TO display the Crystal Report in Oracle Forms :
1. Create a new form.
2. Create a control block, name it 'CONTROL'.
3. Create a CONTENT canvas, name it 'REPCAN'.
4. Create an ActiveX control on the canvas, name it 'CrystalReport1'.
5. Create a Image item , name it 'REP'. Make sure that image item overlaps the ActiveX control completely, this image item is used to get the item handle. Enlarge this object such a way that it will fit the window, the report gets displayed in this item so the item size should be adeqately large.
6. Right click on the ActiveX control item, select Insert Object from the menu.
7. From the list select Crystal Reprot Control.
8. Select the Progrm=> Import OLE Library Interface Menu in the form.
9. Select Crystal.CrystalReport from the List, this will list two methods and one Event . The two methods are CrystalCtrl and IRowCursor, the event is CrystalReprotEvent.
10. Select all the three and click on the OK button to accept. This will create the program units.
11. In the When-New-Form-Instance trigger of the form write the following code.

One thing to mark here is the, change the report name and path according to your required file name and path in
Crystal_CrystalCtrl.ReportFileName (:Item('Control.CrystalReport1').interface,'C:\Sample_Rep.Rpt');
12. If you want to run multiple reports then create a parameter and pass the file name to the form through the parameter. In the above line of code, you can replace the file name with parameter, so each time the form is called with different parameter with the file name , it displays different reports.

Reg : Converting a report list to OTF format.

Hi Folks,
    Is there any function module which converts spool of (report) list type to OTF type? As we need to merge multiple spools (list types) into single PDF file. We have
1) RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB,
2) CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF
which can merge multiple spools into single PDF file, but these function modules accepts only spools of OTF format.

Call a Std Report in SE38

Can anyone of you shall be kind enough to guide me with an example as to (1)how can I call a standard report, say MB5B in my se38 report program (2) fed the output of the same to a spool and (3) read the spool output in the program.

Execute button in Report List

I have an ALV wich executes with user commad button a Report List (write) ; then when the Report List is showed i need to execute some action with some button so i set a status gui with the button , but when i press the button any action is executed ; no control is passed to program even if i set the debug mode and then press that button.
Does somebody knows how can i catch a button in report list for make some action , taking in account that the report list was called from an ALV user command button.

Call Xml Publisher report from Jdeveloper

I need to call xml publisher report from Jdeveloper.

I tried the way suggested by Anil in the above link as well today, but still am getting the same error while openning the pdf .
Dont know why it shows error that either the file is not a supported file type or because the file is damaged.
Please suggest way to solve this error or some other way of calling xml report from OAF page.

As our management requested, we need a monthly report listing out ALL open PO for CDG, APR Someone tell me to input cost centre but it is time consuming to input it as we have over 100 cost centers. Do you know if I can input SPG/profit center or other data to run this report instead ? Please advise the transaction code and how to perform it, such as need to know the profit center #, organization code etc

go to ME2N
then select Scope of list ALV
Selection parameters as WE101 Open goods receipt (select as per ur need )
then execute u will get the list for open po
now if u want it to specify the profit center then go to ME2N and select dynamic selecion (shift +F4)
now u will get a smaal scrren , in purchaseing doc item selct profit center
now u can see the profit center selection field ,give a proper profit center and follow the process as given above

The report is on a different data base ... need to create a process to get the data into the view behind the report and then materialized view in Apex etc .Then recreate the same report in Apex. But I am trying use the disc report url to invoke the report directly from apex.
Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly aprreciated.
