Call tp EP and sending multiple rows of records

Hello friends,
I am creating a screen and am sending back to EP an user ID.
However I would like to send Multiple User-Ids.
Below is the code of what AM I doing.
         str = userid.    " NOTE - I would like to send Multiple IDS.
         lv_value_label->set_string_struct_element( element = str
                                                    label_name = 'MAINTID' ).
       it_result_state-result_state = 'APPROVED'.
       APPEND it_result_state TO it_result_states.
       CALL METHOD eup_structure_factory=>pack_value_label_to_xml
         EXPORTING
           iv_value_label = lv_value_label
         IMPORTING
           ev_xml         = str.
       CALL FUNCTION 'EUP_STORE_BSP_OUTPUT_DATA'
         EXPORTING
           iv_process_id    = process_id
           iv_task_id       = task_id
           iv_output_value  = str
         TABLES
           it_result_states = it_result_states.

Dear Ster,
I think you are having all the user id's in an internal table.
Why dont you loop your internal table and pass those values in the standard FM you represented ('EUP_STORE_BSP_OUTPUT_DATA').
I'm not aware that, whether there is any Standard FM's to be used for sending multiple user ID's. Will check and let you know.
Hope this will be helpful.

  • [Forum FAQ] How do I send multiple rows returned by Execute SQL Task as Email content in SQL Server Integration Services?

    Question:
    There is a scenario that users want to send multiple rows returned by Execute SQL Task as Email content to send to someone. With Execute SQL Task, the Full result set is used when the query returns multiple rows, it must map to a variable of the Object data
    type, then the return result is a rowset object, so we cannot directly send the result variable as Email content. Is there a way that we can extract the table row values that are stored in the Object variable as Email content to send to someone?
    Answer:
    To achieve this requirement, we can use a Foreach Loop container to extract the table row values that are stored in the Object variable into package variables, then use a Script Task to write the data stored in packages variables to a variable, and then set
    the variable as MessageSource in the Send Mail Task.
    Add four variables in the package as below:
    Double-click the Execute SQL Task to open the Execute SQL Task Editor, then change the ResultSet property to “Full result set”. Assuming that the SQL Statement like below:
    SELECT   Category, CntRecords
    FROM         [table_name]
    In the Result Set pane, add a result like below (please note that we must use 0 as the result set name when the result set type is Full result set):
    Drag a Foreach Loop Container connects to the Execute SQL Task.
    Double-click the Foreach Loop Container to open the Foreach Loop Editor, in the Collection tab, change the Enumerator to Foreach ADO Enumerator, then select User:result as ADO object source variable.
    Click the Variable Mappings pane, add two Variables as below:
    Drag a Script Task within the Foreach Loop Container.
    The C# code that can be used only in SSIS 2008 and above in Script Task as below:
    public void Main()
       // TODO: Add your code here
                Variables varCollection = null;
                string message = string.Empty;
                Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::Message");
                Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::Category");
                Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::CntRecords");
                Dts.VariableDispenser.GetVariables(ref varCollection);
                //Format the query result with tab delimiters
                message = string.Format("{0}\t{1}\n",
                                            varCollection["User::Category"].Value,
                                            varCollection["User::CntRecords"].Value
               varCollection["User::Message"].Value = varCollection["User::Message"].Value + message;
               Dts.TaskResult = (int)ScriptResults.Success;
    The VB code that can be used only in SSIS 2005 and above in Script Task as below, please note that in SSIS 2005, we should
    change PrecompileScriptIntoBinaryCode property to False and Run64BitRuntime property to False
    Public Sub Main()
            ' Add your code here
            Dim varCollection As Variables = Nothing
            Dim message As String = String.Empty
            Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::Message")
            Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::Category")
            Dts.VariableDispenser.LockForWrite("User::CntRecords")
            Dts.VariableDispenser.GetVariables(varCollection)
            'Format the query result with tab delimiters
            message = String.Format("{0}" & vbTab & "{1}" & vbLf, varCollection("User::Category").Value, varCollection("User::CntRecords").Value)
            varCollection("User::Message").Value = DirectCast(varCollection("User::Message").Value,String) + message
            Dts.TaskResult = ScriptResults.Success
    End Sub
    Drag Send Mail Task to Control Flow pane and connect it to Foreach Loop Container.
    Double-click the Send Mail Task to specify the appropriate settings, then in the Expressions tab, use the Message variable as the MessageSource Property as below:

    Thanks,
    Is this a supported scenario, or does it use unsupported features?
    For example, can we call exec [ReportServer].dbo.AddEvent @EventType='TimedSubscription', @EventData='b64ce7ec-d598-45cd-bbc2-ea202e0c129d'
    in a supported way?

  • Calling stored procedure and returning multiple resultsets

    Hello,
    Is it possible to create a procedure that return multiple result sets?
    e.g.
    procedure GetDataFromTables() is
    begin
    select * from table_one;
    select * from table_two;
    end GetDataFromTables;
    And I want to call this procedure that returns multiple resultsets (one for table_one and another for table_two)
    I have referred to the OCCI sample occiproc.cpp, but I am not sure how to handle multiple resultsets.
    Your help is highly appreciated.

    Thank You,
    Got the REF cursor in storedproc.cpp.
    But as it is documented, getCursor() gets the REF CURSOR value of an OUT parameter as a ResultSet.
    So, is it true that if I have to write a procedure that selects * from 50 tables (50 SQL statements) , I have to set 50 OUT parameters to get the result sets.?
    Is there any better way of doing this?
    e.g. in DB2, we can open multiple cursors in the procedure body and then get the result set one after another.
    CREATE PROCEDURE get_staging_data ()
    RESULT SETS 1 <no. of result sets>
    LANGUAGE SQL
    BEGIN ATOMIC
    DECLARE L_SQL varchar(5000);
    DECLARE c CURSOR WITH RETURN TO CLIENT FOR L_STMT;
    SET L_SQL = '';
    SET L_SQL = 'SELECT * FROM ';
    SET L_SQL = L_SQL || IN_Tab_Name ;
    SET L_SQL = L_SQL || ' WHERE VERIFY_FLAG=''S'' FOR READ ONLY OPTIMIZE FOR 2000 ROWS' ;
    PREPARE L_STMT FROM L_SQL;
    OPEN c; < can open multiple cursors in the prodedure body>
    END

  • Updating and deleting multiple rows

    Hi!
    I have a form on a table with report page where I can filter data through columns.
    1. Is it possible to create a button that will delete all the filtered data?
    2. Also, I would like to be able to update any column of the filtered dataset to a certain value (that needs to be input somehow). Is that possible?
    So far I can only update or delete one row at a time, which isn't useful as I sometimes need to change 100 rows at a time with the same value or delete them.
    When I use tabular form, I can't filter rows, but I can delete multiple rows...
    Also if there are similar examples, could you please send me a link; I can't seem to find any.
    I'm using Apex 4.2.2.

    Depends how you filter your data. You could identify all your limiting variables, and reverse the where clause in a delete process.
    As for point 2, you can define a button that redirects to the page, and you can defined all the item values you like using the Action link.
    There is likely an example in the supplied package applications.

  • Sending multiple rows to result set

    Hi,
    I want multiple rows to be returned from my pl/sql procedure without using cursor?can I do it? Is there any package for this?
    also When I use cursor variable how do I capture that return values?
    regards

    First Question:
    grin. One really big string and a custom parser.
    Seriously... I read something about PL/SQL tables being supported in a late/future release... is that true? Do we still use a ref cursor, or can we pass VARRAYS somehow back to Java?

  • How to send multiple row data into an internal table??

    I have a view with table control.i want to select multiple row and send all the row data into an internal table.i am able to select multiple row but all the selected row data is not going to the internal table.....only a particular row data which is lead selected is going.
    Do anyone can help me regarding this issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Subhasis.

    Hey,
    Some code example:
    declaring an internal table and work area to get all the elements from the node.
    data : lt_Elements type  WDR_CONTEXT_ELEMENT_SET,
             ls_Element type  WDR_CONTEXT_ELEMENT_SET,
    considering flights is my node.
             lt_data type sflight.
    Node_Flights is the ref of the node to which ur table is binded.
    Use Code Inspector to read the node.
    lt_Element = Node_Flights->GET_ELEMENTS
    loop at lt_elements into ls_Element.
    l_bollean =   ls_elements->is_selected ( returns abap true/false ).
        if l_bollean IS INITIAL.
           append ls_Element to lt_data.
       endif.
    Hope this would help.

  • Join tables and replicate (multiple rows)

    Hi,
    i have two tables TAB1 (A, B, C) and TAB2 (C, D)
    i want to join the tables and replicat such that the resultant table TAB3 has columns A, B, D
    select x.a, x.b, y.d from tab1 x join tab2 y on x.c=y.c where y.d=1;
    but the problem here is that the above command gives multiple rows and i need all those to be in the target table. When i am using SQLEXEC-QUERY in the mapping, only the first search result is being entered into the TAB3. Then i Found out that sqlexec will return only one value. But i need all the search results to be replicated.
    What alternatives are there and what GG recommend in such use case?
    Any helpful advice is much appreciated.
    thanks,
    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production

    the problem to use SP to check every time before insert/update is that there will be around 15 tables not 2 and there will be lakhs of rows in each table, SP which checks every insert will cause a lot of overhead and lag. I cannot afford that.
    More over there will be around 60 values of D and or each value of D there will be Lakhs of rows associated in TAB1
    I need to set up different extract and replicat processes for each set of rows associated with each value of D
    for example the values of column D are 1-30
    for D=1 there are 1.5lakh rows in TAB1 and EXT1, REP1 for this set of rows
    D=2 => 2lakhs rows in TAB2 and EXT2, REP2 for this set of rows
    D=3 => 1lakhs rows in TAB2 and EXT3, REP3 for this set of rows...etc
    this is to ensure that if i want to stop replicating data associated with D=1(which i need to do) i can stop only REP1 and keep the rest of the data associated with D=2-30 in sync
    As far as materialized views are concerned, i need to do it with goldengate only
    Thanks

  • Finding and averaging multiple rows

    Hello,
    I am having a little problem and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to best solve it.
    Here is the problem:
    - I have a large file 6000 rows by 2500 columns.
    - First I sort the file by columns 1 and 2
    - then I find that various rows in these two columns (1 and 2) have duplicate values, sometimes only twice, but sometimes three or four, or five or up to 9 times.
    - this duplication occurs in only the first two columns, but we don't know in which rows and we don't know how much duplication there is. The remaining columns, i.e. column 3 to column 2500, for the corresponding rows contain data.
    - Programatically, I would like to find the duplicated rows by searching columns 1 and 2 and when I find them, average the respective data for these rows in columns 3 to 2500.
    - So, once this is done I want to save the averaged data to file. In each row this file should have the name of colunm 1 and 2 and the averaged row values for columns 3 to 2500. So the file will have n rows by 2500 columns, where n will depend on how many duplicated rows there are in the original file.
    I hope that this makes sense. I have outlined the problem in a simple example below:
    In the example below we have two duplicates in rows 1 and 2 and four duplicates in rows 5 to 8.
    Example input file:
    Col1 Col2 Col3 ... Col2500
    3 4 0.2 ... 0.5
    3 4 0.4 ... 0.8
    8 5 0.1 ... 0.4
    7 9 0.7 ... 0.9
    2 8 0.1 ... 0.5
    2 8 0.5 ... 0.8
    2 8 0.3 ... 0.2
    2 8  0.6 ... 0.7
    6 9 0.9 ... 0.1
    So, based on the above example, the first two rows need averaging (two duplicates) as do rows 5 to 8 (four duplicates). The output file should look like this:
    Col1 Col2 Col3 ... Col2500
    3 4 0.3 ... 0.65
    8 5 0.1 ... 0.4
    7 9 0.7 ... 0.9
    2 8 0.375 ... 0.55
    6 9 0.9 ... 0.1
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well, here's an initial crack at it. The premise behind this
    solution is to not even bother with the sorting. Also, trying to read
    the whole file at once just leads to memory problems. The approach
    taken is to read the file in chunks (as lines) and then for each line
    create a lookup key to see if that particular line has the same first
    and second columns as one that we've previously encountered. A shift
    register is used to keep track of the unique "keys".
    This
    is only an initial attempt and has known issues. Since a Build Array is
    used to create the resulting output array the loop will slow down over
    time, though it may slow down, speed up, and slow down as LabVIEW
    performs internal memory management to allocate more memory for the
    resultant array. On the large 6000 x 2500 array it took several minutes on my computer. I did this on LabVIEW 8.2, and I know that LabVIEW 8.6
    has better memory management, so the performance will likely be
    different.

  • Insert multiple rows of records into the database

    The codes below allow me to insert a row of record into the database. How would I changed these to insert multiple rows at once? Please help!
    String sql = "INSERT INTO EMPLOYEES" +
    "(First_Name, Last_Name, Title, Phone) " +
    " VALUES " +
    PreparedStatement statement = conn.prepareStatement(sql);
    statement.setObject (1, First_Name);
    statement.setObject (2, Last_Name);
    statement.setObject (3, Title);
    statement.setObject (4, Phone);
    boolean returnValue = statement.execute();

    Hi mystiqueX,
    As wmolosho has suggested in his answer to this very same question that you also posted to the JavaServer Pages forum, you can create a batch of inserts and perform them using the "executeBatch()" method. I will use Craig's sample code to demonstrate:
    (Note that this code is untested!)
    conn.setAutoCommit(false);
    PreparedStatement statement = conn.prepareStatement(sql);
    // assume you have an array of objects here
    for (int i = 0; i < data.length; i++) {
      statement.setString(1, data<i>.getFirstName());
      statement.setString(2, data<i>.getLastName());
      statement.setString(3, data<i>.getTitle());
      statement.setString(4, data<i>.getPhone());
      statement.addBatch();
    statement.executeBatch();
    conn.commit();If you are not familiar with it, allow me to suggest looking at the Making Batch Updates lesson on the Java Tutorial.
    Hope it helps.
    Good Luck,
    Avi.

  • How to loop through single XML File and send multiple RFC calls?

    I am looking for the best approach to use for making multiple RFC calls (can be sequential) using a single XML file of data.  I have been attempting to get a BPM loop working, but to no avail.  My RFC only accepts a single set of delivery input and I have been told to try to work with it as is.

          <carrier_name>UPS</carrier_name>

    </ProofOfDelivery>
    I need to make a synchronous RFC call for each set of POD data.

  • Send multiple rows to database from a dynamic table.

    I'm using JSP for my application. I have a table that changes
    in size depending on a value a user selects in a drop down list.
    They can then enter some values into the table and click the submit
    button. I know for whatever reason Dreamweaver only sends the first
    row to the database and I've had a hard time finding good
    examples/tutorials showing how I could make it send all the rows to
    the database.
    Is there a way for me to just do a while/for loop taking into
    account the number of rows in the table? That would be ideal for me
    as it sounds like the simplest method and I'm very new to web
    development.
    Should I be using the Server Behavior Builder or a Stored
    Procedure and if so is there any good examples for those as I've
    had a hard time working with any documentation/tutorials I've found
    regarding them.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Baxter, thanks for the response. I guess I should have
    been more specific when I said I was new to Web Development. I am
    actually in Software Development where I primarily code in Java and
    other OO languages. I have worked with a database before in java by
    writing my own servlet. I have also done some HTML so jsp is very
    good for me as it is mostly java with the odd bit of html
    structuring with tables and such.
    Languages like PHP and ASP I am not very familiar with and
    most of the solutions I find for this very problem revolve around
    ASP. I have just found it very hard to find a solution to this
    problem. It seems like it isn't talked about very much even in
    Dreamweaver's own documentation. If a stored procedure is the only
    way to go then I think I can handle it with some guidance if anyone
    knows of some tutorials/examples available.
    Also is it really not possible to just go into the code and
    somehow make it loop through each row in the table and execute a
    prepared statement for each row? I've included some code of the
    dynamic table I have and as you can see I have a Submit button on
    its own outside of the table. If i had it inside then the user
    would have to submit each row individually which isn't realistic
    when there are many rows of data. Since the Submit is outside of
    the while it only gets called once after the table is populated
    thus sending only one row of data.
    You might want to copy paste the code into a text editor as
    some of the lines are long and may be hard to read here. If you
    notice any errors in the table itself like mismatching column
    headers it is because I changed some column names before attaching
    it here so just assume that the table is all built correctly.
    PS: I am going to be out of town for five days or so, so if I
    don't reply to you right away don't think I disappeared from this
    thread. Thanks again.

    I have an IPhone 4 , which is on a Vodafone network, when I try and make outgoing calls it says 'call failed' . I am still able to send/receive SMS and IM and receiving calls is also so problem, does anyone have any solutions?

    You need to contact Vodafone.

  • In PAI module call a method and send reference to module.

    Hi,
    In object oriented languages like Java you can send the reference to an object to a method, something like: object1.callFunction(me)
    where "me" is the reference to the object calling the function. So the "object1" can call methods inside "me".
    I want to do the same in a screen. I want to do the following. In the PBO module when the screen initializes I want to do:
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    MODULE init_screen_0100.
    CALL FUNCTION some_function
          EXPORTING me
    where me is the reference to the screen.
    Is this possible, and if yes, how to do this?
    After this I am going to from another object trigger events in this screen, thats why I want the reference to it.
    regards
    Baran

    Hi Baran,
    This thing is not possible with module pool program.......
    In case you want to do something like this do it with call screen or leave to screen so that you are you can go to next screen...
