Call two programs from one program.

HI all,
I have two BDC interface in seperate programs.
I want to call that two programs from one program based on a condition.
Is there any way.
I tried with call transaction 'SE38'.
set parameter ID but it is taking buffered value.

use submit program to call other program.
SUBMIT prog|(field) [AND RETURN] [options].
also if you want BDC prog, then probably you can call the BDC recording using PERFORM bdc_prog (in program name).
PERFORM (<fsubr>)[IN PROGRAM (<fprog>)][USING   ... <pi>... ]
                                       [CHANGING... <pi>... ]
                                       [IF FOUND].

put all relevant objects inside a transport request and release it. this will generate two files, a control file in /usr/sap/trans/cofiles/ and a data file in /usr/sap/trans/data/
you can take these two files, zip'em up and e.g. email them to your destination. There they have to be put into the same directories of that other server and can then be added to the import queue and finally imported.
These last steps would usually be done by an administrator.
Both systems should be on the same release, as far as I know.

Copying Report Programs from one SAP system to another SAP system

Folks,
I would like to know if there is any easy way to copy a report program from one system to another system. There are two SAP systems of which one runs on UNIX and another one runs on Windows. BASIS consultant told that they are not transportable.
The only option I came up with manually copying the reports and associated Selection Texts, Text Symbols & Titles& Headers.
Is there any other easy way to do this task as I have 60 programs to be moved.

There are two SAP systems of which one runs on UNIX and another one runs on Windows.
Thanks for your suggestion. Our BASIS consultant mentioned that as the Operating Systems for these SAP systems are different , transports can not be done. As per your suggestion , my understanding is that transports are possible even the operating systems are different.

Hi,
You need to Download the Program first in to Local desktop then upload the same to another server, we can not move the code directly from a server to another server without a Transport request.
but you can call the program from other server using RFC destination, create a RFC for that server and create a function module in the server which the program is there and use the SUBMIT statmet in that function module, then from the other server call this function module using RFC destination

CALL TRANSACTION 'ME33K from another program

I ma trying to CALL TRANSACTION 'ME33K from another program, but it is not working. The transactions is opening, but it is not opening with the contract number (ls_ekpo-ebeln) i am passing.
ls_ekpo-ebeln does have a valued when CALL TRANSACTION 'ME33K is called.
In debug, I noticed the "value" is blank when step into CALL TRANSACTION 'ME33K .

And it is working.
Try to do de simple sintax.
A program with one pararmeter to introduce the contract number.
The set parameter for this parameter and the call transaction.

Hi Create a Push button In your report., On Click of button
call function call_browser
and pass your WDA url to this FM.,
else If you want to display in SAP GUI it self., use cl_gui_html_viewer class and disaply that url...

EXPORT (variable) TO MEMORY ID 'LOC'.
Program2
IMPORT (variable) FROM MEMORY ID 'LOC'.
LOC is the address , for more press f1 on export in abap editor.

hi,
for passing itab from one program to another u can use
IN FIRST PROGRAM WRITE ,
perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB.
in both the program declare itab with same structure.
if u want to do some changes in that itab and if u want it back in first program then write as
perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB changing itab.

Yes, It can be called.
Infact you can generate a program from SHDB recording and in the program generated you can put necessary report logic and call the BDC/CALL TRANSACTION as required.

- EXPORT (itab) TO ... .
- IMPORT obj1 ... objn FROM DATA BUFFER f.
- IMPORT obj1 ... objn FROM MEMORY.
- IMPORT (itab) FROM ... .
Important thing is that these work correct in same session only.

Hi Ashish ,
Ya we can call a non SAP program from SAP program.
For example we can call a EXE program from the SAP program using the RFC connection created in SM59.
In Sm 59 you can create a TCP/IP connection and give the path of the executable there.
