Calling a program at the left of the screen

Hi all
I'm creating a program should allow to give a panoramic on certain business.
At the right of the screen there's a tree where user can choose the function wants to run. At the left of the screen the user can see the result.
Now I know how to load the result on the left of screen using subscreen, but I would like to do something like Se80.
Every function user can run is a program (transaction), so I would like to run these program and see the result at the left of the screen, but if I do a submit or a call transaction, the system'll leave my program and go to the called program, so the result'll be showed in whole screen.
I know when it uses SE80, it can go to the several transactions of workbench without leaving the tree at the right of the screen.

Hi Max,
SE80 actually does not do call transaction or submit instead it calls function modules provided by various Workbench Utility Function Groups like WBSCREEN, SD02, S38E etc..
Now the next question is how are they able to show the Navigator on the Left hand side all the time.
Two possibilities,
One - They have a Big Subscreen Area in the Main Program Start Screen and then start calling various subscreens from different programs.
Two - If it is not possible to call a subscreen and the called fm calls a Normal screen then Navigator is relinked to that screen.
As it is a Docking container, there is a LINK method available in the class CL_GUI_DOCKING_CONTAINER with which you can link it to a different program and screen.
I think in your case, I suggest you first analyze how many of the business transactions that you plan to call support navigation through Function Modules.
In such cases you simply have to ascertain what is the screen number and program name and then LINK your docking to the program screen.

How can make a page template as default.
The situation is i have a theme which has a default page template set so that the "Page Template Body 2' comes to the the center(let me this be theme - theme 1). But there is another theme which gives me the option to
set the 'page template body 2' to the left of the page(theme 2). I thought of switching the theme but my other setting for report will go for toss. So i have copied default template for page from theme 2 to theme 1, but i
cant make the page template as default. How can make the page template to default ?
Is there any other way of doing this so the 'Page Template Body 2' appears to the left.

In Application Builder:
- Edit the Application
- Click on Shared Components
- Click on Themes
> The current theme will have an 'asterisk (*)' by the theme name
- DO NOT CLICK ON THE THEME
- On the far right column will be a panel called Tasks
- Click Edit Theme
- Click on your current theme
You'll see a drop down list that allows you to pick the default page template.

Presentation starts 5" from the left side of screen and pushes intellegence off the screen to the right.

The top of my screen is normal: the tool bar starts "File, Edit...
The body of the screen while running Firefox-and during typing of this message- is full of lite. The actual data: starting from the top of this page- "Firefox Help... Ask a new..." etc. starts 5 1/4 inches from the left of the page.
It's as if Firefox were presenting a wider page with the presentation moved to the right. This pushes the last, normal, 5" of the presentation off the screen.
The rite end of the bar which starts out: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
is off the page, so the facilities at the rite end are lost.
Any presentation, including Amazon.com and Youtube.com are similarly pushed off the rite side of the screen by 5".
I have no access to the rite-most 5" of any internet presentation.
The sliders that move the presentation up and down and left/ rite are off the screen.
I have shrunk the display down so small, i can barely see the numbers: Control panel\ display \ settings \ 1920 by 1200. This gives the ILLUSION of centering the presentation, but still no sliders. At this setting, i can see the full width of Amazon. Youtube appears centered, with 4 1/4" on both left and rite, but no edge sliders.
I dropped the 'setting' to 1440 x 900.
Lost about 3" off the rite side of Amazon; barely on the rite edge of Youtube.
None of my local programming has a problem: Excel, pictures, videos, Word, even Internet Explorer goes full page and centered.
I un-installed Firefox and downloaded it fresh. It did NOT ask me to reboot my puter, so i didn't .
I can supply pictures (screen shots) of the phenomenon on request.

- Open Firefox -> got to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. Check if its working.

That little logo to the left of the URL

Does any know what that little logo is called that is on the
left of the URL? A lot of websites have it now. I am creating my
logo and want to put it on there. If anyone knows, please tell me

With the left panel, trying to use the Presets, in the tutorial to the left of the commands there are square icons, for example "Lightroom B

Also, Right Panel, Color, White Balance, “As Shot” only has 2 options (auto & custom) vs. tutorial that has 9 options.

You are not supposed to connect a pair of speakers(as in left and right in a stereo pair)to two separate out jacks on the sound card.the place on the card where headphones/speakers with the mini jack goes is the right place.

Click the Book icon in the Favorites/Bookmarks bar.

How can I display my bookmarks in a persistent column on the left of the display?

I like to have a permanent display of bookmarks i a column on the left of the display. Having restarted FF, this is no longer shown.
I see a View option to display the bookmarks toolbar - but I don't want a toolbar - I want to go back to having the list always shown on the left.

Everytime I open Safari on my MacBook Pro a pop-up window from my Finder menu, with the Applications highlighted on the left in the favorites column with the Resources folder highlighted comes up and locks my Safari page until I manually close the Resources window then I have to refresh the internet search address line at the top of Safari. Can someone tell me how to stop this. It started after a software upgrade. It didn’t do that before. Thank you.

A few thoughts for diagnosis/testing purposes:
Have you recently run the disk utility and repaired HD and permissions? If not do so.
Boot into the Safe mode - hold down shift key on boot - and see if the problems are still there. Some functions won't work but see if anything odd happens.
Check your startup items. Get rid of them temporarily.
Create a new user account and see if the problems occur with the new account.
Lastly, be sure your backup is up-to-date.

Hello kerchoo, Are you referring to the Taskbar of the entire desktop screen?
If it is the Taskbar, just left click on the Taskbar, hold down the mouse button, and drag the Taskbar to the bottom of the screen or any other location and release the mouse button.
If you are referring to the entire desktop screen, and you have already tried changing the resolution, you might take a look at the monitor screen adjustments on the monitor itself.
There should a button for a Menu, where you can navigate to move the screen from top to bottom, left to right and so forth.
You may also take a look in the Control Panel, Nvidia Control Panel, and in the Adjust Desktop Size and Position, check the box for Full-Screen. If you have an ATI video card and not an Nvidia, you would look for the ATI Control Panel.

Is there a way to keep the time for an event on the left of the box in month view?

For example, when I type in "5:00 PM Basketball Game," iCal automatically changes the event to "Basketball Game." I only use month view so that wasn't helpful for me. I only recently discovered the "show event times" option in preferences so now the time shows up in month view, but on the right in faded text. Is there anything I can do in Terminal to keep it from automatically changing it? I'm old-fashioned I guess.
I realize it's nitpicky but I'd appreciate a solution. Thanks!

I should note that the time stays on the left of the event name when I re-enter the text (which I had to do all the time before I found the "show event times" button) so I feel like there's a way.

This started happening right around the time I updated to Firefox 4, but may have been a little before that too. For some things, like news and web comics it's just a little annoying. For important things like looking for new journal articles for my job, it literally makes my job more difficult. So fixing this would make my day.

I seem to have solved my own problem. When I disabled the add-on "Tab Renamizer" everything started working fine.
