Calling a program of other system

its possible to call a program (like when using submit) of other sap system different from the actual system?

This remote SUBMIT is similar like running a report in a background job. For example, define a selection screen variant for your report and use this variant as input for the function module (parameter VARIANT).

Ceate a remote enabled function module and call it from anywhere you like.
Make sure the systems talk to one another with defined RFC Destinations
To create RFC destinations use T-code SM59.

Call a program of another system from one system

Hello Gurus,
I have a module pool in R/3 in which i have a tab which call
a progam of another system.
Actaully a screen is call,
as the user which i hav to use is a system user i can not use call transtion.
its gives me a error.
Dynpro_send_in_background.
So please me with anothe way of calling the transaction with user type system user.
points will be surely awared

I know that if i use user type as service or dialog it will work
with the call transaction.
But i have to use usertype as system user, as it is recommanded from security point of view.
So i need to get that screen from my R/3 system user user type as system user.
Do any one have any altanative solution to it.

Calling the RFC from other system.

Hi Everybody.
I have two systems.One is ECC and other is SAP R/3.
I have created one RFC in SAP R/3 system and I am calling this
RFC fom ECC system.On click of one button,I have to show some
fields from the RFC onto the screen of WDA .
How can I achieve it ? Is there any code for that or some link
available for that.

         using rfc you will be calling a function module in r/3. so it will return some exporting parameters, bind it to the attributes that are created in the context or
       create a destination in ecc6 to call the r/3 system .u se service call and mention that destination while creating it.

You can create program and call this BAPI
BAPI_IPAK_START
using follwoing statment

In case, if you are not required to use this frequent , then you can run this BAPI in se37-> Execute
then specify the target system in field RFC target sys:

To invoke scripit(program) written in other system from our program

Hi ,
I have written an extract program which will extract data from specified table and places in directory mentioned .
my requirement is
1) i need to include code in my program which should invoke program in other system(say md).( this program which is written in other system(md) is used to pick the file which was extracted earlier ,to that system( md system.)
2) After that program written in other system picks up file,the file need to be deleted in our system.
plz provide me the code to handle above requirement.

Create an RFC Function module and do it
RFC (Remote Function Call) is similar to the general SAP fun module: except that in the attributes you click the radio button: RFC enabled;
and you will be passing an Import parameter DESTINATION to it.
Other code and usage will be similar to any fun module;
Have a look at any fun module in SE37 to understand better about the different components of Fun modules;

Problem with BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA when calling from other system

Hi All,
I able create new material using the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA in development system.
but when i am calling this BAPI from other systems by passing the same values that i used in the development system . system is giving me an error ( in the return statement) saying that material number doesn't exists .
Can any one have some pointers towards this ?

Hi,
this FM BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA
is used to extend a material to another plant
for that you need to read the original data via BAPI_MATERIAL_GET_DETAIL and then select additional data from MKVE and save it via BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA with table parameter SALESDATA

We don't support performing any action except email notification in case of alert from App Insight.

Calling Transaction from other system using RFC

Hi ,
I have one button on screen(say Screen-A), in ECC. when its pressed the transaction '/SAPAPO/BOPIN' gets called from APO.
For calling transaction from APO I am using FM - 'ABAP4_CALL_TRANSACTION'.
I want the initial screen of that transaction to retain some values which I fill on the Screen-A(the screen which has that button).
When I call the transaction from ECC itself (ex. C006), the initial screen of C006 retains the value on Screen-A.
I want the same to happen in case of calling transaction from APO.
How to achieve this? Would it need the changes in IMG (SPRO)?
Please note that, Screen-A is initial screen of transaction 'md05' and I want to retain vaules of Material, MRP Area, Plant.

Calling smartform from other system in ECC.

Hi friends,
I have a smart form in other system....In Ecc there is an alv report where in when i click on any line item,it should fetch the information in terms of smart form from the other system.that is a smart form present in other system should be displayed in ECC.I have not to create any smart form in ECC...Only call smart form from the other system....
Has somebody done this before or have any ideas how to do it.

Regarding creation of multiple jobs calling same program

To improve the performance of the report, i think i want to make a try of your new strategy.
Could you pls give me oultine code of how to create each job for each P_monat by calling
same program multiple times.
by the by i have two points to confirm with this.
1-if we call same program at a time using different job wont it gets data confused with data manipulation
inside the internal table?
2-you want me to call each job simultaneously or one after another?

Urgent: Calling ABAP Program using JMS

Hi,
I have a scenario where legacy system pass some messages to ABAP Program and this program can handle one message at a time (written in that way).
Now the receiver communication channel is configured to access J2SE adapter. This J2SE adapter stores the message on R/3 system and triggers the ABAP program located in R/3 system.
Now when multiple messages are coming at a time in SAP-XI and processed successfully and handover to J2SE adapter. But J2SE adapter triggers the ABAP program for all messages. And here is the problem. ABAP program is not supporting multi - threading.
my idea is to use JMS adapter...can you guys suggest me how to achieve result and how to configure JMS or any other adapter to call ABAP Program so that only one message will pass to ABAP program at a time.

First find out where your ABAP program the data written.You need to write it into and spool then only you can see it.
Transaction SP01, you can use the FM 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' in your abap program to write to spool.

Calling Concurrent program from OAF-PDF Outtput not in English

I've successfully done "Calling Concurrent Program from OAF" once i clicked the button which i have in my page it generates RequestID and that shows request page,In that when i click "Output" icon the PDF file is opened.
But in that PDF file it shows the datas in the different language.
