Calling an external report

When calling an external report the parameters or select-options specified in the external report can be called or not?

I think you can call it using SUBMIT statement.
Here's an example (taken from report RKEB0601 - job information is optional):
SUBMIT RKEB0601
          WITH PPLIKZ = PLIKZ
          WITH PERKRS = RKB1X-ERKRS
          WITH PPATYPE = RKB1X-PA_TYPE
          WITH PKOKRS  = RKB1X-KOKRS
          WITH PALEDGER = PALEDGER     "wkb 46c
