Calling ERP Web Dynpro from CRM Opptunity with parameters

Hi, experts!
In CRM7.0, I'm calling ERP Web Dynpro from CRM Opptunity.
We've added a button in Opptunities and the buttom can navigate into ERP Web Dynpro.It works fine.
Now, I'm trying to move the value of Opptunity ID to a field in ERP Web Dynpro when we push the buttom. That's a problem I want to solve. We're struggling to move the value, but it doesn't work.
We uses the following settings:
1) We call Z- Logical Links generated by Transaction Launcher when we push the buttom.
2) We define Transaction Parameters in a Transaction Launcher Wizard(Step5). We've set "//clipboardBTOrder/BTOrderHeader/OBJECT_ID" or "//datacontextCURRENTBT/BTOrderHeader/OBJECT_ID".
But both of them doesn't get any value.
3) If you set SYST data or constants in Transaction Launcher Wizard(Step5), you can find the data in ERP Web Dynpro.
Does anyone know which parameter gets the value of current opptunity data?
Or if you have any tips to create URLS using programing, could you please share the information with me?
BestRgards.
Miki

Does anyone have tips??

  • Calling java web dynpro from ABAP

    Hi!!
    I have a double problem!
    First I want to call a java web dynpro application from ABAP. I managed to do it using :
    call method cl_gui_frontend_services=>execute
      exporting
        document = url
      exceptions
        others   = 1.
    Where url is the java application url with parameters. It's working...
    ...but here comes the second problem : i need SSO So first solution is not sufficent.
    Can anybody help?

    Ok looking for the solution i figure out that it won't be possible anyway, i need a first log to the portal in order to issue a logon ticket before any attempt of SSO authentication.

  • Calling a Web Service from CRM 620

    I prototyped from ECC 640 and created a client Proxy to call a WebService.  However,  Does anyone know if it is possible to call a WebService from CRM 620?  If so, how do you do it.  So far I have found documentation to create Server Proxies but not client proxies.
    I attempted to import the wsdl to XI as an external definition, then in CRM executed transaction: SPROXY to bring in the wsdl definition.  This did not work....
    Here is our landscape:
    -CRM 4.0 with XI-addon 2.0 & kernel patch level 1253
    -XI 3.0 SP 15
    thanks
    -steve

    Welcome to SDN.
    CRM 620 - i have no knowledge on CRM, but i guess its on WAS6.20. if yes you can consume websevice using CL_HTTP_CLIENT class.
    check out the following weblog for details.

  • Calling Web Service from CRM using proxy

    Hi all,
    I'm facing a problem trying to call a web service from CRM (WAS 620) via XI 3.0. The response that XI recieves from the web service contains SOAP Envelope, and the mapping fails because of it. I built the proxy manually, because if I load WSDL the proxy generation in CRM generates error that sais that external definition coudn't be used.
    Is there any way to remove SOAP envelope from the response while mapping?
    Is it possible to call web service from WAS 620?
    Thanks!!!!
    Anya.

    Hi Manish,
    SOAP adapter does pass the message to XI (this message contains SOAP envelope although XI expects to get message without it), and during the mapping step i get "Runtime Exception in Message-Mapping transformatio~".
    I suppose it's because i created proxy manually. I did so because when i imported WSDL, and tried to generate proxy in CRM, i got an error message that said that proxy couldn't be generated because external definitions are only allowed in XI 3. But my XI version is 3.0! And when I generate the same proxy in my R/3 system that is installed on WAS 640, it works.
    What can I do?
    Cheers,
    Anya.

  • Call another Web Dynpro with Configuration

    HI to all
    I have a Web Dynpro Components, and i have made Application configuration.
    So I want call this Web Dynpro Application from an other Web Dynpro Application with the configuration I have made before.
    Is this possible if so what have I to that this works, has some one a code example for me.
    Thanks & Regrets
    Hermann

    Hi Hermann,
    When you run an application with a special configuration, you may notice the additional URL-parameter
    &sap-wd-configId=my_configid
    . Just add this as a parameter to the application URL, and it will work.
    Ciao, Regina

  • Examples of 'calling a web dynpro application with parameters'

    Hi!!
    I'm I have been watching manual 'Web dynpro for abap: advanced concepts' in the sections 'url parameters' and 'calling a web dynpro application with parameters'.
    Is there some example where these terms are seen.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ana,
    a window inbound plug can have parameters.
    These parameters are automatically fished out of the URL by the framework.
    So your inbound plug handler method has easy access to the parameters.
    URL
    http://<host>:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/<your application>?param1=xyz&param2=abc
    The application is configured to call an inbound interface(window) and plug.
    The plug can be declared with parameters.
    Double click on window inbound plug and add your parameters.
    The parameters are made available by framework if present in Launch URL.
    You can also call an application that has parameters  directly entered on the parameters tab.
    ie Parameters can be part of the application launch.
    regards
    Phil

  • Calling a Web Dynpro Application from POWL feeder class

    Hi,
    I know this question is asked before but never answered, but I try again......
    I have a own POWL feeder class where I defined a button in method IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_ACTIONS.
    I know that this action can be handled in method IF_POWL_FEEDER~HANDLE_ACTION.
    When pressing the button I want do call another web dynpro application.
    How can I do this? -> Any Example Coding?
    Thank you and best regards, Edgar

    Hi Vineet,
    it works, thanks a lot!!!!  Best Regards, Eddy
    P.S.: Here is the coding for triggering the event and passing parameters for the selected POWL table line:
    METHOD if_powl_feeder~handle_action.
      DATA: ls_parameter TYPE powl_namevalue_sty.
      DATA: lt_flights TYPE ty_flights.

    *   Important: this triggers the event
        e_portal_actions-fire_wdevent = abap_true.
    *   Pass parameters to event
        ASSIGN c_result_tab TO <lt_fligts>.
        lt_flights = <lt_fligts>.
    *   Determine the first selected row
        READ TABLE c_selected INTO ls_selected INDEX 1.
    *   Read selected POWL data
        READ TABLE lt_flights INDEX ls_selected-TABIX INTO ls_flight.
        CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
    *   Pass parameters
        ls_parameter-key = 'ACTIONID'.
        ls_parameter-value = 'I_ACTIONID'.
        APPEND ls_parameter TO e_portal_actions-parameters.
        ls_parameter-key = 'CARRID'.

  • Calling a Web Service from Mobile - UI options

    Hi Team,
    I have a scenario where the backend SAP functionality is exposed as a web service and we need to call it online from a mobile handheld device (Symbol with Pocket PC client 2003, IE browser 4.0). Is it possible to call this web service from the handheld? Do we have to write the web service call on the J2EE stack using NetWeaver developer studio?
    Also, what UI technology is recommended for showing the data from the web service call. The idea is to get some user input on the handheld, and then post a transaction via the web service on SAP. I discussed with some of my colleagues and they recommend to use JSP/Servlets for this. Does anybody has a better idea, (the JSP/Servlets does not seem correct). Should we use native XSLT or something else.
    Please note that the Mobile Web Dynpro has limitations on the UI side and the "onEnter", "setFocus" does not work, specifically on the netweaver 2004s release. The backend ERP system we have is 2004s and I'm trying to make a web service call from a NW 2004 client.
    Any ideas or pointers will be appreciated and points awarded. Thanks for your time.

    Hi Sanjay!
    Yes, To call a WebService you will have to write your Own Application using NWDS.I donot have any specific recommendation for the UI Technology to be used.
    Usage of "OnEnter" and "SetFocus" with NW2004s has certain limitations below.
    "OnEnter" is not a supported feature as of now especially for WD applications on Handheld Devices.
    "SetFocus" will work on IE6.0 Standard Desktop Browser with WAS7.0 SP06 and i believe it will work in hand held devices if your using WAS7.0(NW2004s)SP8 and you are using the latest Symbol Device that has Windows Mobile 5.0 OR Windows CE.NET 5.0.I understand that there could be some limitations with the OS and the IE you are currently running in the device.
    Let me know your views.
    Thank You

    Does any one have insights about it?

    Hi Swapna,
    from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
    If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
    Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
    Maybe it could help.

  • Initiate web dynpro from non-SAP system

    Hi all,
    My costumers are using a non-SAP system, and I need to open a SAP purchase order from this system (based on the order number). Is it possible to put in a link on the non-SAP system, that initiates a web dynpro pop up filed with a SAP purchase order?
    Please advise.
    Thanks

    Hi Thomas,
    WebDynpro is technology native to SAP. WebDynpro Application is developed, utilizing the runtime , libraries & underlining platform in the SAP system. However when webDynpro component is to be used, its consumed as a simple Web Application( i.e you have a URL to invoke it ), thus if you have a WEBDYNPRO application, with fair amount of knowledge of HTML & JAVAScript you can call the URL, which is going to display you the webdynpro application.
    so in effect a webdynpro application would appear as good as a webapplication that CAN be called on Browser from any where, but to build & change it you need SAP Netweaver.
