Calling multidimensional array in JSP into other JSP

hello friends,
     nice to c good replies over here...so i want to post my problem in JSP using multi-dimensional
array..
One JSP contains mutli-dimensional array and i want to call this JSP into the other JSP in which i can use the values of that array.

i think the jsp include directive should be suitable for you. the variables from the included jsp can be used in the jsp which is including it.
<%@ include file="whatever.jsp" %>

  • How to export a JSP page into other formats

  • URGENT: Passing Array from JSP to a Stored Procedure

    Hi,
    Can some one please help me understanding how can I pass array from JSP page to a stored procedure in database.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jatinder

    Thanks.
    I tried ArrayExampla.java and was successful in passing array values to the stored database procedure.
    How can I use this class in JSP? Like I have first JSP where in I will collect input from the user and then submit it to the second JSP - that needs to call the ArrayExample.java to pass the values as array to the database.
    How should I call this java code in my second JSP?
    Thanks in advance.

    Did you package your JSPs in a WAR and your EJBs in a JAR and package the
              WAR and JAR in an EAR? That is how to do it in 6.0. Works well.

  • How to save joint's coordinates into multidimensional array

    Hello everyone,
    i have a question that's seems silly but i'm stuck in it since yesterday !
    i'm developping a small application with ms kinect sdk 1.7 and when detecting skeleton and all joints are tracked i want to save it into multidimensional array of (20,3) which are respectively the number of joints in human body and the coordinates along
    the 3 axes.
    my goal is to calculate after that the max and the min values throught the 3 axes.. so i began with this piece of code.
    private static double[][] JointTab = new double [20][3];
    double save_joints(Skeleton first)
    foreach (Joint j in first.Joints)
    for (int li = 0; li < 20; li++)
    JointTab[li][0] = j.Position.X;
    JointTab[li][1] = j.Position.Y;
    JointTab[li][2] = j.Position.Z;
    return JointTab;
    it indicates that the method does not return a value necessary ? how could i fix this error ?
    i will need to call the JointTab after that how can i sort each colomn with Array.Sort() method  ?
    thanks for any help !
    DKF

    The issue you are having is not specific to the Kinect SDK. You will need to look into your managed code construction of the array since that is not valid. There are ways to create a single array of a structure which you can then provide your own enumeration.
    You may want to look at the generic collections of .Net to see what would be best since you will way to provide some logic to the sort since the points in space will need to calculate a length.

  • How to get the values of an Array using JSP Tags

    Hey guys,
    I need some help. I've splited a String using
    fn:split(String, delim) where String = "1,2,3,4" and delim is ,
    This method returns an Array of splited Strings. how do i get the values from this array using jsp tags. I don't wanna put java code to achive that.
    Any help would be highly appreciated
    Thanks

    The JSTL forEach tag.
    In fact if all you want to do is iterate over the comma separated list, the forEach tag supports that without having to use the split function.
    <c:set var="list" value="1,2,3,4"/>
    <c:forEach var="num" items="${list}">
      <c:out value="${num}"/>
    </c:forEach>The c:forTokens method will let you do this with delimiters other than a comma, but the forEach tag works well just with the comma-delimited string.

    Its easy to call a WS from jsp what you can do is this. Think in manner that u will be keeping the client classes on a particular container, then in same container you can refrence the classes and can invoke service through a jsp..this works in my case.. it depends what kind of client do u want to create may be static or proxy or DII

  • Calling a class in JSP page using Tomcat 5.5

    Hi,
    I want to call a java class in a JSP page but getting error.
    I am trying to deploy JSP through a WAR file so for that I have created folder structure as per requirement and in WEB-INF folder, I kept web.xml file.
    What entry exactly I have to make in web.xml file as I am using Tomcat 5.5 webserver. When the same code I put in JSP then it works.
    my web.xml entry is
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>TBS</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>pack1.GetData</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>TBS</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/JSP/TBS_main</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    Do I need to change in it or we have to make some more entries in different XML files.
    Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks
    Mukesh

    you dont have to specify the class file in the web.xml just import it on your jsp then instatiate the class on the scriplet and you can call the methods on it.
