Calling standard prog from zprogram.

Hi all,
Please tell me how to call 3rd screen of standard SAP program from z program.
Should exclude first two screen of standard SAP prog and data should be sent to 3rd screen and executed.
Or may be first two screens executed and then third screen in sequence and output after third screen to be directly displayed.

"Calling a program" is not standard terminology, so I'm not sure what you're asking.
Do you want to call a function in a DLL (most likely written in C) inside your Java code? Yes, that's JNI.
Or do you want to execute a program (which may happen to have been written in C, but the language doesn' matter) from inside you Java code? That's [Runtime.exec|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/lang/Runtime.html].

Possibility of calling standard actions from a java program

Hi ,
I am working for a project where customer wants to have option of saving orders as draft only and later convert to order if need be. However since we do not want many drafts to reside on server there is a need to delete these at a specified time. For draft orders I am using order templates since they stay in the database without getting converted to orders. Now I do not know how to go about the deletion part.
i need to write a program that would run on the server and which would fetch the templates (drafts) that have been created till a particular time and call the delete action of the template. Now the question is how do i call these actions from a java program where this java program will have to run on the server end (ie will be a backend process).
Please suggest.

hello roopali,
you can create a separate thread that will run your
code that will check for stale drafts and delete them.
it is just like a session management program but here
we will be looking over the drafts and not the session
objects.
now if you want the invocation of the action from another
program, a socket program would suffice but opening ports
will cause you network connections thru firewall.
if you can make use of HTTP servlet as your service
provider e.g., you can then just pass some action params
to invoke it.

Calling standard Report from a zprogram

Hi Experts,
We want to call ME5J transaction code from a zprogram using Submit statement.
We used following code to call the report
SUBMIT RM06BKPS WITH TCNT-PROF_DB EQ '000000000001' WITH CN_PROJN IN PROJECT EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
After using this statement we are getting output of the report. We don't need to display the result. We want to fetch data from above report using
CALL FUNCTION 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'.
How to hide output display of ME5J?

you can use the class cl_salv_bs_runtime_info=>get_data_ref to get the standard report output without displaying the ALV grid.
Check the Blog by glen simpson.

I would call a standard BSP (my case ACTIVITY BSP) from another standard BSP (OPPORTUNITY BSP) when change a predefined fields.

Calling Standard screen from custom program

My requirement is
1)Either to fix a link(say from a button) on my custom screen for material creation,to call mm01 basic data screen for image upload.
2) Or to upload material image directly to the corresponding table(using any fm or something).

FYI..
To open Classification screen directly we have a function module CLFM_OBJECT_CLASSIFICATION. But if I want to open IA06
Inspection characterstics screen we don't have any FM or API to do the same.
So how will I get my requirement done. That why I use the BDC call transaction to open IA06 Insp. characterstics screen but here I am facing this Back issue.
Please advice if there is any suggestion.

There is a PLSQL procedure that is defined as executable for a concurrent program. I need to invoke this concurrent program on click of a button in a page.
I would like to know whether just calling the package.procedure through callable statment would suffice.

no special logic is required
If u want to use
RPUAUDOO IN THE ZREPORT.
Put the submit button where ever required
ex: In zreport after certain process reacedu want to call then use
submit rpuaudoo and return.

Call standard SAP transaction in BSP

Hi guys,
I am working in WAS 6.20.
We have separate server for WAS and records fetched from R/3 server.
Now the requirement is i have to call a standard SAP transaction and the output of the standard transaction should be displayed in the BSP output.
Is it possible to call a SAP standard transaction in WAS 6.20.
Is it possible to display the same output in the BSP screen.
Above to all, displayed output should be refreshed automatically for every 20 minutes.
I come with lot of doubts, expecting your reply.

My query here is, When i call this form its open with find Form and after values are entered it goes the main form.
I need to hide this find screen which is avaiable in standard and need to call directly the main form with out find form.
Please help me out to reach this.

You need to pass the parameter to the actual form to display the results something like "form:AR:US_AR_SUPER_USER:STANDARD:AR_ARXCWMAI_AGE&P_PARAM=123", assuming P_PARAM is the actual parameter defined in the form. Open the form and check which parameters are available and pass the values accordingly.
