Calling the webservice with request xml

Hi all
I have table with the fields Requestxml and the url to which Requestxml needs to be submitted.how can dynamically submit the requestxml to the corresponding url
can any one tell me the approach how can i achieve the above scenario
i am using jdev 11.1.1.5.0

Hi,
in HTML the form action element determines where a form field is submitted to. So in your case I would probably try using a managed bean to send the request from Java.

if you are in the context of a J2EE 1.4 container, you do not need to generate any stub, you can use either a dynamic proxy mechanism or dynamic invocation.

Calling a webservice with SOAP Receiver

Hi Guys,
 Im calling web service from XI using SOAP. I could call the webservice using XML Spy, It is working fine.In XML spy I could se the response (variable out , type double).
 When i call the same web service from XI It doesnt give any error in the beginning and later it would convert the same to "Acknowledment contains system errors" in Ack staus(SXMB_MONI). I configured my scenario as Asyn.However there is a response from webservice. Is it mandatory to create a sync scenario in this case? If so I couldnt configure as Im sending an Idoc as a SOAP request.But Response of Webservice is of double type( some integer it returns) So I couldnt map both as it was giving some problems in message mapping.
 I would like to know how XI sends a soap request ? I mean in SXMB_MONI some where it must be there. I wanted to copy the same from XI n paste in XML spy so that i can test whether it would go throgh.
 In plance of that webservice, We created an asp page and configured IIS. I wrote the ASP in such a way that It would read the SOAP request and dump into my default website area. I Could see the SOAP request coming up from XI.When i paste this in XML spy its working fine but not from XI Im wondering what went wrong?

Calling the webservice twice - Duplicate entries

Hi Experts,
Scenario : SOAP Client -> Call Microsoft webservice -> XI JDBC Sync call-> Call Microsoft webservice.
BPM Steps:
1. Receive Step -> Get the SOAP Client request (Open S/A Bridge)
2. Send Step -> Async call to Microsoft webservice to update the log status.
3. Send Step -> Sync call to JDBC
5. Send Step -> Close the S/A bridge
6. Send Step -> Call the Microsoft webservice to update the log status.
Receiver Determination Steps
1. SOAP Sender to BPM
2. BPM(Async request) to 2 Log Business Service. I have mentioned the both business service under Configured Receivers section in Receiver Determination.
3. BPM(Sync request) to JDBC
Issue : The JDBC part works fine. Only problem with the Microsoft webservice. Twice it update the log table. ie. Twice it calls the Microsoft's each webservice.
Please help me out, how to stop the second retry and let me know the above approach is correct or not.

Hi Sara,
As per your info, Earlier you was trying to call both logging updates under one Sync/Async Bridge. But on Webservice side it will give you two responses and you will handling only one.
In later case also you are handling only 1st response of Webservice call, but the another call is still open.
Actually you are trying to built two Sync/Async Birdges. Which is not at all possible under one BPM.
SAP have not recommended for it.

You need to create two seperate interfaces for this.
For e.g.
1st will call the Webservice before updating the JDBC tables.
2nd After updating the JDBC table you can again call the Webservice for updated logging status.

Let me answer your questuion first :
No, using PI 7.0 I dont think its posible..
Below is a brief overview on SAML.
SAML: It stands for Security Assertion Markup Language, it is an XML standard which is used to exchange security information between a service provider and an identity provider.
Why we need it ???
We have a concept called Principal Propagation in PI 7.1, Principal Propagation allows to securely pass the identity of a user from a sender application to a receiver application. There are various adapters and protocols which support the Principal Propagation and one protocol amongst them is the Webservice Reliable Messaging Protocol or WS-RM. Principal Propagation solution for WS-RM protocol is based on SAML and uses the SAML assertions.
There are some video recordings available for configuration and you can view the same as below,
Configure a Trust Relationship between Sender and Integration Server: Exchange sender's digital certificate between sender and Integration Server.
Configure Trusted Issuer: Map user in the Integration Server, and specify issuer. Default issuer is the sender's system ID, default attester is the sender's certificate.
Configure Sender Agreement and Sender Communication Channel: In Integration Directory, select SAML Sender Vouches Assertion as authentication method.

Problems while calling the webservice published at XI end

Hi ,
I have published a webservice at the XI end and to test it I am calling the webservice from xmlspy .
I do get the popup for username and password in the xmlspy for the adapter but it fails to send the data to the webservice .
I even checked the SOAP adapter status in the RWB and its grey. and the installed and started option of adapter monitoring the soap adapter is not shown .
Can anyone through some light as to what can be the reason behind this .
is it the problem with the adapter or the webservice

In SAP when ever we create any object(tables or MCDs) :
there are two things CUSTOMER NAME SPACE(stored locally in that system only) and FORIEGN NAME SPACE(can be transported)
CUSTOMER NAME SPACE objects starts with 'Z' or 'Y'
FORIEGN NAME SPACE objects starts with any other digit other than 'Z' or 'Y'
So youhave created MCD name CIBERNW which starts with 'C' (its not customer name space with z or y)
so it will be stored in package(so that this package can be transported to any other system later)
So what ever you have done is correct.
You can create your own request also.
But confirm once that whether you are supposed to store your MCD this that package.

So this request is nothing but....
When ever we create tables or MCDs we try to save it..so if we are trying to create objects in Foreign name space(i.e without 'Z' or 'Y' inthe beginning) so it will ask to create this object in a package which requires request(transport request)
All objects are stored in package,( so this package contains many objects like MCD,SYNBOS etc what ever we store in it) so we can transport this package from one system to another system so to transport we need to generate a transport request for that package and them release that transport request.....
So once the package is released and we try to edit or create new objects in that package it will ask for some new request.....
Yes we can create our own request and later release it.
But in your case u can take up the default request and continue.
If this MCD is for only testing purpose(for our selfs)..means this MCD is just for our testing sake..its better to create it in Customer name space..starts with 'Z' or 'Y'.

I am doubtful that anyone is going to share rating templates, because that is generally regarded as intellectual property of the companies that own the rating books. You may consider attending Oracle University which has several classes that will have you build a rating program from the ground up.

I've just finished a three day search for a FRM-92101problem, so I want to post my case, just in case it helps someone.
My case is similar to yours, in that you have a Forms 6i form migrated to 10g and deployed on Linux, although my problem was "very" specific, and thus very hard to find, this might give you some light.
I had a visual attribute that defined the property "Fill Pattern" as "none" applied to a canvas, and it deployed without any problem on 10gR2/Windows, but when deployed on Linux (10gR2/SUSE 9) it would abort the application getting a FRM-92101.
The solution in this case was just changing "none" to "Transparent".

Invalid request when calling REST-webservice with UTL_HTTP.

When i try to send some data to a REST-webservice i get as response "INVALID REQUEST"
I Think it is about the request-body that seems to be no UTF-8.
I tried to set the characterset with utl_http.set_body_charset(t_http_req, 'UTF-8').
But when i read the characterset with utl_http.get_body_charset(t_charset);, is still get "ISO-8859-1"

Always check the access_log and error_log files of the Apache web server in such a case. This will identify whether the error comes from Apache itself, mod_plsql, the Apex run-time engine, or the Oracle database.
I see that you're creating a HTTP/1.1 in PL/SQL - however, the web server response indicates a HTTP/1.0 call was received. Unusual. And could be part of the problem.

Error while calling the webservice from XML spy

HI ,
I hve imported the wsdl file into the xml spy and not trying to send a SOAP message to it .
its asking for a user authentication .
I am using the XIAPPLUSER for it and once i send the soap request .
I am getting the error
HTTP operation 'POST' could not be performed on url

due to an error.
the connection with the server was terminated abnormally 
If any one has an idea why is such an error occuring please do let me know

I dont think there would be a definitive answer but :
could you check the URL manually whether its reachable if so what is its status ?
Once did this check whether there any parameters its expecting and missing.

For this we have decided to use BRF. I want to know that how can I use the webservice which we generate from BRF in SAP PI. Which adapter supports calling of webservice or if there is any other section of SAP PI where this transformation can be done using BRF+ webservice? Please help

Hi,
The message coming from ECC has values in ISO format and MII needs values in SAP format. For this conversion to happen I need to use the BRF+ and when I raised the same request on "Business Rule Management/BRF+" forum. I got the following reply.

Can I use RFC Lookup to satisfy the requirement. If yes how to go about it. Actually I am using RFC LookUp for the first time, so the basic steps that we need to follow for RFC Lookup are needed. I went through some Blogs but did not understand how it will be applicable in my case. Please Help
