Calling web query from BSP application: Session handling

I would like to call a BI 7.0 web query from a BSP application.
Therefore, I generate a link like http://<server>:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=CR_M_0001_SALESFORECAST_0&VARIABLE_SCREEN=X
Now, I have the problem that I have to log in again.
The BSP application is embedded in the portal. SingleSignOn works for the BSP application, but not for the following link to the query.
Anybody know how to execute the query w/o login again?

i guess this is more related to ITS.
which ITS are you using?
integrated or standalone.
i checked in both (using standard webgui service) i dont see any problem using /n or /<transaction>

I was also facing the same issue But I could solve it like this :
Pre-requisites :
a. A view ( to which you would like to jump )must be created in BEx.
b. You must have launched Business Explorer ( not necessarily you must have logged on to BEx
Step1 : Launch planning application using UPSPL.
You must have observed that the BEx tool bar is now embedded and is visible in the planning folder
Step2.Click on open --> Saved Views --> Select your view --> Open the view.
Another window is launched and your view is displayed.
However, I have observed one limitation : This works only once. If you try and execute Step 1 and 2 in the same session, it fails.

Calling a subroutine from BSP application

Hi
i want to know how to call a subroutine/form in another package in same R/3 system in my BSP application.
Is there any way to implement this. ?
What if the subroutine has furhter LOCAL forms called inside it. will they be used as well while calling from my BSP application.

Calling SAP Transaction from BSP

I wonder whether it is possible to call SAP transaction from BSP application and pass to it some data; e.g., PO# when calling VA02?
The called transaction could appear in a separate MS IE Window (like in some Portal applications) or in SAP GUI.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have launched the Java SAPGui from BSP pages before. I used SNC so that the users were logged on via Single Sign On. I store the Java Gui in the Mime directory. You can force the startup transaction. Theorectically you could also Gui Scripting to try and control the Gui and force in the default value for your PO field. I have not tried that however. You will probably want to check the Service Marketplace for documents on the Gui Scripting. The following is the code from my BSP page to launch the Java Gui in the Browser as an applet:

How to call Java API from BSP?

I have a requirement to call Java API from BSP application.
I have checked the forum and found that it is possible by using some ABAP codes.
However there is no pointer on how this is done.
Can someone explain the details on how to call Java API from BSP is done?
I found class CL_EJB_JAVA_OBJECT_METHODS to call a method in EJB but can't find function or SAP class to call Java API.
Actually is there any BSP extention which can used to call Java API?

i have created a ITS screen which in turn calls a Abap report

Since it is related to both ITS and BSP i thought i can post it in both. and also i didnt get answers for the queries..... for a long time. Anyhow i will take your suggestion for my future query.
i hv done using iframe to call my ITS application.
I can able to call the Bsp application whichin turn calls its screen abap program.
while executing , the selecting the directory from the file browse pop up doesnt work for downloading the file
becos the client , they will not change the settings related to applet in the internet browser for security reasons.
I hav to make it some how to make it work in the portal which calls this BSP application..
at the moment i mapped this BSP application to the user role in the SUS Portal . but it appears in the SUS portal . but i m not able to click the application and also handsymbol is not seen while bringing the mouse to that area.
Could you please tell me , how to use Action_id for that particular application, Authorisation profile settings.

Is there any way to find the relation between the Bookmark ID and Query name? The favorite link is not working and getting the above error message. We are also not able to identify the query related to this favorite / bookmark link. Is there any table to identify for query and Bookmark?

Object is needed! How is the g_oConnection-object defined?
2. How can I pass values for the parameters from VBA?
If I open the query usually from SAP-BEX-Toolbar, after selecting the query, I get a parameter mask, where I must put in a value. How can I this automatize from VBA? Has anybody a short samplecode for that?

What I really want to do is write a stand-alone application that I can run from windows scheduler that queries our BW for sales data for certain items (in a tabular form) and pulls that data into a VB recordset, or a .NET dataset so that I can insert the rows into another database (SQL Server, or Access) I already know how to do all the data movement to/from datasets and databases I just cannot figure out how to programmatically grab this sales data from BW our company has workbooks already set up that aggregate WW sales information by region (IE, there is a separate workbook for each region of the world) I can manually go into the Excel interface, tell it which items to pull the sales info for, and it dumps the data into the worksheet (organized by customer, and then by cat #)
So, what Id like to do is write an app that will pull data every week or so from the BW (from each regions sales invoice detail workbook), and insert it into another database that we use for reporting other, non-sales, data.
Thoughts on this ? Is there another, non-BEx method that is better ?

Yes, SAPHTTPA (runs on application server) and/or SAPHTTP (runs on front-end pc), one of which, is required for HTTP communication. So far, nothing too elaborate as far as SOAP goes, but the logic is simplistic. Here's some sample code:

WebLogic Cluster has this feature ( Load Balancing & Failover ). If you will deploy your WebService to a WebLogic Cluster and then If you will put a Proxy in front of it like (Apache)...Then it is Possible.
<h3><font color=maroon>What All You Need To Do ? ...... as following</font></h3>
<b><font color=maroon>Step1).</font></b> Create a WebLogic Cluster (minimum two ManagedServers)

<b><font color=maroon>Step2).</font></b> Install a Proxy like Apache in frot of them like following:

<b><font color=maroon>Step3).</font></b> Now Configure a FrontEnd Host for your Cluster by providing the ProxyServer Host name as the FrontEnd of your Cluster. This step is required to Generate the Dynamic WSDL with the Address of the Frontend.(Not of a perticular WebLogic Server)

<b><font color=maroon>Step4).</font></b> Deploy your WebService on the Cluster
<b><font color=maroon>Step5).</font></b> Now Hit the WebService using the Proxy URL:

Calling Web service From R/3

Hi ,
we have a requirement, where we have to call a web service in Biz talk from SAP and compile the received data in R/3 as a report.
has any one worked on such a requirement, could you please provide your inputs on the same.
