Calling Webservices from Webservice client

Hi Guyz,
A RFC is published as a Webservice and I am trying to call the same thru a webservice cllient. I am using NWDS 7.1.1 for the same. I have generated the Java proxy classes and I developed a Main Java class with the following code -
1) String wsdlURL = "http://localhost:8001/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/BAPIFlightList?sap-client=800&wsdl=1.1"
2) String namespace = "urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style";
3) String serviceName = "BAPIFlightList";
4) QName serviceQN = new QName(namespace, serviceName);
5) ServiceFactory serviceFactory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
6) Service service = serviceFactory.createService(new URL(wsdlURL), serviceQN);
7) Service.createCall();
At line# 6 i am getting following exception-:
28 Jul, 2010 8:59:32 AM org.apache.axis.utils.JavaUtils isAttachmentSupported
WARNING: Unable to find required classes (javax.activation.DataHandler and javax.mail.internet.MimeMultipart). Attachment support is disabled.

Can Any one have any idea about the above exception and how to correct the same.
Also,  is my approach to call a webservice from Java correct or are there any other approach. I am trying this First time and open to all kinds of suggesstions.
Thanks

He Shyam,
I have passed the Login Credentials. But it is still not finding the service. Also , when I created the Standalone Proxy, ServiceFactory Implementation Class is not genereated

  • Problem while Consuming Java Webservice from WCF client

    Hi,
    I am trying to Consume Java Webservice from WCF client.The webservice main functionality is digital data management.The client can Query Digital data and upload digital data by calling webservice methods.Problem is when i am trying to call webmethod from WCF client its giving "Unrecognised message versions".I have no idea about how the message objects are processed at serverside.but at server side they have used JAXP for XML document parsing.
    The response content type is Multipart/related and applicatio/XOP+XML.
    Can u plz help me how to handle this situation.I have minimum knowledge in Java WS architecture.Basically i am .Net programmer.
    Can U please guide me in a proper way to resolve the problem.

    Hi Abinash,
    I have the same problem. Have you solve that problem?
    I am using a java program to call a webservice too. And I have generated the client proxy definition for Stand alone proxy using NWDS. When I call the method of the webservice I am getting the correct result but along with the result I am getting one error and one warning message in the output.
    The java code to call the webservice is as follows.
    MIDadosPessoaisSyncService service = new MIDadosPessoaisSyncServiceImpl();
    MIDadosPessoaisSync port = service.getLogicalPort("MIDadosPessoaisSyncPort");
    port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.username","xpto");
    port._setProperty("javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.password","xpto");
    String out = port.MIDadosPessoaisSync("xpto", "xpto");
    System.out.println(out);
    The result I am getting is :
    Warning ! Protocol Implementation [com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.features.builtin.MessageIdProtocol] could not be loaded (NoClassDefFoundError) !
    Error Message is :com/sap/guid/GUIDGeneratorFactory
    <b>The result of the WS is correct!!!</b>
    The Java project does not have any warning. But the stand alone proxy project has following warnings associated with it.
    This method has a constructor name     MIDadosPessoaisSync.java
    The import javax.xml.rpc.holders is never used     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    The import javax.xml.rpc.encoding is never used     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    The constructor BaseRuntimeException(ResourceAccessor, String, Throwable) is deprecated     MIDadosPessoaisSyncBindingStub.java
    It is very similar with your problem, could you help me?
    Thanks

  • Calling EJB from app client

    Hello, everybody,
    I'm very new at EJB and I'm trying to learn it.
    I have created Enterprise Application using Netbeans IDE, I have EJB and APP client. What I want is to connect to my MySql database and get some info from table.
    For e.g. Login and Password.
    How can I call EJB from my client app which connects to my database and gets information I need?

    What server you are using?
    if you use jboss AS ,here is a simple Main class how to connect EJB and access ejb methods:
    package com.david.ejb.client;
    import java.util.Properties;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    import javax.rmi.PortableRemoteObject;
    import com.david.ejb.domain.Person;
    import com.david.ejb.domain.PersonRemote;
    public class Main {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              try {
                   Context ctx = getInitialContext();
                   Object obj = ctx.lookup("PersonSessionRemote/remote");
                PersonRemote pr=(PersonRemote)PortableRemoteObject.narrow(obj, PersonRemote.class);
                Person p=new Person();
                p.setName("david");
                pr.addPerson(p);
                pr.findPerson(1);
                   // System.out.print(br.find(pk).getAuthor_name());
              } catch (Exception ex) {
                   ex.printStackTrace();
         private static Context getInitialContext() throws NamingException {
              Properties p = new Properties();
              p.setProperty(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "org.jboss.naming.NamingContextFactory");
              p.setProperty(Context.URL_PKG_PREFIXES, "org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces");
              p.setProperty(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "jnp://localhost:1099");
              return new InitialContext(p);
    }Person is ant @Entity and PersonRemote is remote interfaces, to connect database you have to make datasource file at jboss-4.2.3.GA\server\default\deploy
    simle mysql-ds.xml looks like this:
    datasources>
       <local-tx-datasource>
          <jndi-name>some name</jndi-name>
          <connection-url>jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/dbname</connection-url>
          <driver-class>com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</driver-class>
          <user-name>root</user-name>
          <password>root password</password>
          <min-pool-size>5</min-pool-size>
          <max-pool-size>100</max-pool-size>
          <idle-timeout-minutes>15</idle-timeout-minutes>
          <exception-sorter-class-name>com.mysql.jdbc.integration.jboss.ExtendedMysqlExceptionSorter</exception-sorter-class-name>
          <valid-connection-checker-class-name>com.mysql.jdbc.integration.jboss.MysqlValidConnectionChecker</valid-connection-checker-class-name>
       </local-tx-datasource>
    </datasources>also at resources/META-INF directory you must have persistence.xml like this
    <persistence>
         <persistence-unit name="SimpleEjb">
              <jta-data-source>java:/some name</jta-data-source>
              <properties>
                   <property name="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" value="update" />
                   <property name="hibernate.dialect" value="org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect" />
                   <property name="hibernate.show_sql" value="true"/>
                   <property name="hibernate.format_sql" value="true"/>
              </properties>

  • Calling an ALBPM Process as WebService from external client

    Has anyone successfully been able to call a albpm process exposed as a webservice ?
    I have seen some posts but they all seem to be having some issues. What I am trying to understand is why does albpm web service requests for process id and session id when they are not part of the web services ? The only way an external client can call a process is by passing business keys (or correlation ids).
    But right now I am looking for some sample code that is used to call a web service encapsulating a business process.
    Any help will be much appreciated.

    In 5.7 you can use this API http://localhost:8585/workspace/webservices/ProcessService?WSDL
    to invoke a business process in a synchronous fashion. And it does not have to be exposed as a web service. If you expose your process as a web service, you will only be able to do asynchronous invoke.
    I hope it helps.

  • How to generate a report to a file calling it from report client

    Hey there,
    I am pretty new to the whole Oracle world. I have found very little technical books about Report Builder or Report Designer (whichever you prefer to call). Therefore I am unable to figure this out. I know I can generate my report to a certain number of file types if I am running it from the Report Designer 6i, but my user are calling from a application trough the Report Client. I would like to know how I can let them choose whether to preview on screen or to send to a file (a .html file would do). If anybody out there can help me out I will really appreciate.
    Thanks a lot,
    Gleisson Silva

    Thanks a lot ! ! ! This was easy enough ! Now I only have a problem, when I run the report with the output file as a html file, my columns lost their default layout. For example, column which is 10 characters long becomes like 8 characters. As opposed to any other file type. Is there some configuration that I need to do?
    Once again thanks!

  • Invoke webservice from webservice

    Hi All,
    I am a newbie of using JDeveloper and I have a few questions about web service. The call flow is shown as below:
    Caller(Machine C) -> web service (WS_B)(Machine B) -> web service(WS_A) (Machine A)
    In Machine A :
    I have deployed the web service called WS_A
    In Machine B :
    I have created a proxy service that points to the wsdl of WS_A. Also, I have created a webservice called WS_B that invokes the proxy service so that WS_B
    can communicate with WS_A
    When I check the webservice (WS_B) in the browser, it always says that "oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedNoClassDefFoundError" . Thanks a lot.
    Best regards,
    David

    Hi David,
    If you are using JDeveloper to assemble your applications, and you have used the embedded version of oc4j, you may want to double check that all your bean have been included in the application module.
    Sometime the embedded version will be working, because the .class files are in the classpath used to execute the application, while they are not found in the context of the application, once deployed on a remote container.
    Check the list of classes included in your .ear. Select the node "WebServices.deploy" in the "resources" node of your project, and using right-click on the selection, select the Properties options. Under "Files Groups - WEB-INF/Classes - Filters", make sure all the classes have been selected.
    Hope it helps,
    -Eric

  • ORA-01804 when calling function from java client

    Hi All,
    we changed a PL/SQL-function that is called from a java client from using sysdate to localtimestamp. The function works fine in TOAD, but when called from the java client ist throws an ora-01804: failure to initialize timezone information.
    Any suggestions?
    Alexander

    The change was only made to a local variable in a function that was called from the original function that got the parameters from the java client.
    I changed it from localtimestamp to systimestamp and it works fine.
    Do i have to make any settings about the time zone in the jdbc thin client ?

  • ESB Webservice call from Java client

    Hi,
    i need to call webservice from Java client which inturn will call ESB
    I tried creating proxy from the WSDL in jDeveloper and tried setting the following end points
    My concrete WSDL path :http://10.237.25.63:8889/esb/wsil/SubroCaseESBSystem/InputRouter?wsdl
    My EM -path:"http://10.237.25.63:8889/event/subrotest/SubroInputrouter"
    When i call the concreteWSDL im getting
    "HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 405 Method Not Allowed"
    If i call the EM pathim getting
    "javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException"
    Any guess as how i need to call my ESB from client.

    Hello Venkat,
    - I have created Java Proxy using Jdeveloper for ESB webservice and I usually use http://host:port/event/...?wsdl, and it creates stub which works without any modification. Let me know, may be I can try sending sample project
    - I would like to verify if you are having issue with Java client or ESB itself, are you able to execute that ESB process/service from EM test page or from any other BPEL process?
    Regards,
    Chintan

  • How can I call a stateful webservice from a user-defined XPath function?

    I'm calling a stateful webservice from a BPEL process using a PartnerLink which implements Custom Header Handler classes to handle the session state, storing the cookie as a property of the PartnerLink.
    I'd also like to call this same stateful webservice, in the same session, from a user-defined XPath function enabling me to call this from an XSL Transformation.
    Is this in any way possible? Can I access the cookie and attach it to the webservice call made by the user-defined XPath function?

    Actually, as long as the servlet returns valid javascript, you can indeed "call it" from the client. It will initiate a request and return the result to the browser.
    This example uses Perl, but it could be easily modified to go to a servlet instead.
    Note that it is only supported in DOM browsers (IE6+/NN6+/etc)

    Hi Raja,
                  Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried changing in the WSDL file the SOAP action parameters (http) like you said and still I got the same error message while testing the interface.
                  I have corrected the problem by trying a different approach. Earlier I used file option for Client Proxy creation and I got the error message.
    Now I created the Client Proxy by using the option URL/HTTP destination ( which was also showing errors earlier but it is OK now after our Network Specialists opened the concerned port.)
                    Your reply was usefull as it helped me to check the  "Soap Action" in the "OPERATIONS" tab of the "LOGICAL PORT" for the client proxy. I have awarded the points for that.
                    I have seen your Blogs and the your replies to the questions in this form. I would like to thank you and all the like minded contributors of this forum. Keep up the good work.
    Regards.

  • Calling a remote program on the server from the client

    Hi, I'm new to Java/Jdeveloper/Oracle I'm writing a small app in
    Jdeveloper 3.2 running on Windows that connects to an Oracle
    8.1.6 on a Redhat Linux. I have a few programs writen in C that
    run on the server, and would like to call them from the client
    machine with a few parameters. is there a way of doing that?
    it's just like calling "ls -la filename" from the remote
    client. BTW, I don't need to get a response from the server, I
    just need to initiate the call.
    Thanks for any help.
    John

    JDeveloper is an IDE not a platform. what sort of app are you
    writing: client server application, applet, JSP?

  • Invoking a web service from dynamic client in weblogic 7

    Is it possible to invoke a webservice from dynamic client in weblogic 7. Because i tried and it doesn't work. But it works with WL 8.1
    I don't see any samples on the net for weblogic 7.

    Hello rss,
    If you want to invoke a web service from a JCD you will have to build the SOAP message using JAX-RPC or AXIS and then programmatically creat an HTTP connection.
    Or you can leverage the HTTP(S) eWay and then you only have to build the SOAP message.
    Or use eInsight. You can import a WSDL into eInsight and eInsight will offer you a business process Activity to invoke the web service operations defined in the WSDL.

  • ABAP proxy client call PI with new client 120 in old business system

    Hi all
    We have a requirement to call PI from ABAP client proxy in synchronous mode via a CRM client 120.
    CRM client 100 is already configured in the Business system talked above but now we need the same business system to be configured for client 120 as well.
    My question is If we go to the SLD and
    |-> Click on Business System
    |-> Add new client 120
    Will it work or we need to do some extra configuration for communication channel.
    Also please let me know how to configure Integration Directory for sender agreement, Receiver Agreement and the communication channel.
    Thanks in Advance.

    > hope the technical entry of CRM is already in SLD . So you just need to make a business system entry . point the business sytem to the technical system entry with the right client here 120 .
    Will it work or we need to do some extra configuration for communication channel.
    > since sender is client proxy you don't need to do anything in case of receiver proxy you will be needing reciver communication channel of XI adapter type .
    for proxy based communication your application system(other than PI/XI) should be able to make a proxy call to XI or receive a call from XI .for this purpose you need to make some settings at R/3( or CRM level)
    For this check blog  : /people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies
    Abap proxies ( Client and Server proxies)
    Other steps i.e Interface determination/receiver determination are as usual .
