Can a confirmation email be automatically sent to a person who submits a form?

I am setting up a job request PDF form for internal use at my company. The team who will be filling out and submitting this form on a recurring basis wants to know if there is a way they can receive a confirmation email after they submit the form, stating the details (date, time) etc of the form submission. As it is, they submit the form and the data goes 'into space' so to speak and they have no record of the form submission or the data inputted. I looked all over and could not find any information about a way to do this. The only other option is for me (the distributor) to manually email them each time I receive form data. Of course I don't want to do this so I'd like to know if there's a way to automate it.

You will have to set up the form differently than what you get when you distribute it via the "Distribute Form" wizard, unless you can configure your email server to send out an automated response (e.g., a vacation notification response). If you want to go this route, it might be best to set up an account just for your forms and set the vacation response to what you want. You'd then use this email address when you use the distribution wizard. The email address it uses is configured by selecting: Edit > Preferences > Identity > Email address
You can change it back after you've distributed the form.
The alternative is to set up the form to submit to a web server, which processes the submission, extracts the user's email address from the form data, sends the notification, and does something with the XFDF. It could forward it on to you in another email.

If you are using Apple Mail, it does not support read receipts. Even if it did, most people will ignore such requests, so at best, it'd be a hit and miss situation.

Can I stop email from being sent?

I have tried to change the SMTP address to be invalid.
It does not send, and does not give me an error.
When I close outlook it tells me emails have not been sent. I have no idea where these emails r.
When I restart it, it resets the smtp address and sends the email.

The problem I am trying to work around is ppl using outlook try to send/reply/fwd emails using those old addresses. Outlook must be configured to rcv mail from clients using those addresses. So if the old email address is set as FROM I want to stop it from
being sent.
if i set the smtp address to an invalid the test never completes and I can never get to the end of that wizard.
If I go back and look at it it is still the invalid address after I cancel the wizard.
If i try to send mail it appears to do it after a long pause and i can't find the email anyplace -but it is not sent.
If i shut down and restart outlook it is back to the valid address and the mail gets sent.
I have it set only rcv, not send, that address in the group but that doesn't work.

Using iMessage to sent text to person who has google account

On iMessage for mac, I can add my google talk account and I can sent text message to person who has google account which is not set as apple account.
I mean I can use iMessage like google talk. But, on my ipad when I put the same google account in iMessage, it shows that the account is not registered with iMessage. So, I want to know how can I sent text to a google account through my iPad's iMessage.

On your Mac, you're not sending to Google Talk users through iMessage, you're sending through Google Talk, but from within the Messages app, which supports many different instant message protocols on a Mac.
Messages on the iPad only Supports Apple's iMessage protocol.
There are apps in the AppStore that let you use Google Talk on iOS devices.

How can I capture email addresses from Sent mail???

This may sound strange, but I'm trying to capture all the email addresses in my sent mail folder. At my work I want to send a newsletter out to folks that I previously emailed to let them know about new products. I have about 6000 emails, per year, in my 3 years of sending emails on my machine. I want to see if there is a program that allows me to go thru my folder and capture all [email protected] addresses and then I can go thru them later and delete later.
Any thoughts?

How can I confirm email accounts have transferred

Following receipt of the email about closure of the btinternet email acocunts for non-customers, I have returned to BT and my new broadband service was activated on 3 September. I immediately tried to link my BT Yahoo primary and sub account email addresses to the new broadband account. However, I have a number of concerns.
Not all sub-accounts recieved the closure email (the primary one did and some of the sub-accounts). I have tried to link all the accounts that received the email and did recived some confirmations that this had been registered. I tried web-chat to confirm that the accounts were linked and to find out what to do about the ones that did not receved the email. However, I was left with no confidence that this has actually taken place as the person I was chatting with didn't seem to have much of a clue about what was going on.
The thing that really worries me is nothing seems to have changed. On the BT Yahoo account details for the old primary address it shows 'BT Yahoo! Pay-as-you-go' as my Product (and not Broadband). On the BT Yahoo account details for the new primary address that I created for the new braodband service, there are no sub-accounts listed.
These email addresses (and the emails they contain) are very important to me. So much so that I was motivated to go through the hassle of changing my broadband provider. Is there any way to get some assurance that the email addresses are linked correctly?

This maight help on how to check if your sub accounts are linked to your Primary BT email account and to see what product/service you are on.
If you login to this website here: https://bt.edit.client.yahoo.com/accounts? with your Sub accounts email address and password.
Once your in you will see a "Accounts" under the Account Information section. Here you should then be able to see the current sub accounts email address and if it is linked to your Primary BT email address then it will also display the Primary BT email address.
It will also tell you what service/product you are on.

I would like to be able to identify all emails sent after a specific time over several years.
Ex: Identify all emails sent after 8pm in 2012
Is it possible? Is there a simple way of doing this within mail?

Have you tried a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!
Failing that, delete your account and set it up again.

Did you try to delete cookies and browsing history just to further isolate the issue? Did you experience this problem on both wired and wireless computers connected to the router? Can you still go online wired and wirelessly connected to your router even if you experienced this problem? It would be best to install the latest firmware on your router.

IMessage confirmation email not being sent

I'm trying to set up iMessage to be able to send and receive using a gmail account. I enter the information and it says email sent for validation. I have also resent the email. I never get an email in that account to validate. I've checked the spam folder too.
Thoughts?

I can not find emails that I sent to archieve

when I right click on an email and then choose archieve the email disappears from the in box. When I go the the archieves I cannot find it

I would start by seeing what you have setup for Archiving in Account Settings.
From the menu bar select Tools-Account Settings-Copies and Folders
or
Right click the account and select Settings, then Copies and Folders

In general CR2s and NEFs will open in Adobe software as long as it is newer than the camera models involved.
If your friend is using Nikon software then it won’t work with Canon raw files.
What is the software brand and version situation on both sides of the transaction and what camera model(s) are you sending raws from?

Okay than this definitely was not Apple. Apple support techs never have access to your mouse. It sounds like this company installed some software on your Mac. It is hard to tell what their intentions are but just assume in these situations that all your data was compromised. Possibly all your online accounts have been compromised such as social networks, banks, etc.. The smartest thing to do would be to change all of your passwords and reinstall OS X on your Mac. It sounds extreme but that's what happens when a 3rd party company gains control of your computer.

After every activity in workflow an email is being sent to the person who has created it. But now I want an email to be sent to the persons who are overdue with that particular activity.

Hi Kiran,
in your workflow step (transaction swdd) there´s the possibility to maintain different deadlines, for example the latest start deadline. They all work quite similar to each other. You can maintain a reference Time / date, then you can determin the period of time that has to be monitored.
For example the workitem was created at noon on monday, if the receiver has not taken an activity at noon the following day, an notification should be created.
Refer.date/time WIS Work Item Creation
Time
+ 24 HR Hour(s)
Than you can enter the recipient. This can be done per person, org unit, or even an expression, formulate a description in the box below.
That should do.
Please keep in mind, that in transaction SWU3 the Background Job for Missed Deadlines is in Status active.
