Can a used copy of logic be registered?

I have an opportunity to buy a used copy of Logic Studio 9. Can I register it afresh ok?

If it includes the serial # then there shouldn't be any problem. Just watch out to receive the whole Logic Studio v9 package and not only an update package.

In the DTP select the file location as application server and give the logical file path. The actual file and logical path can be created using transaction "FILE" and "AL11".
Rest of the process is same as that of extraction from local file.

Can't use copy paste shortcuts

I'm new in Lion. Why I can't use the copy and paste short cut if I use it from and to different application, for example from safari to MacOffice Word, from Word to dictionary. However it work if I copied it using the Edit menu and then copy it at the other application by using the Edit menu again. Looking forward for the help

The shortcuts should do the same function as the edit menu.
Command C to copy
Command V to paste

Anyone having issues using copy and paste in safari?

I have exactly the same problem using Safari on my iPad Air. On my Macbook Pro, Safari works okay and I haven't tried it on my iPhone 5. All the problems stem from the IOS8 update. I tried installing google Chrome for Mobiles on my iPad and it worked for a while, but it too is now destabilised.
I have reported it to Tech Support in Ireland and they ran a diagnostic test, but so far I haven't heard anything back. I also filed a bug report and suggest others should do the same. The more people who report this fault the quicker we should get a fix.

A likely cause is the website email uses a rich text editor, in which case you should be able to enable copy/paste by following the instructions in this article - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Granting_JavaScript_access_to_the_clipboard

Printer screen is unreadable so can not use copy feature

Printer display is nothing but vertical bars of different shades of grey and widths. Therefore I cannot use the copy function. Well actually I can by guessing where to touch the scan function and number of copies. Since the display is unreadable I can print and scan from PC but not copy.

You can not copy from the PC, but you could scan, then print.
With regards to the condition of the screen, do you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a surge protector or power bar? Even if you have been using a surge protector/power bar all this time and you feel it is not the cause, please connect it to a wall outlet just so we can eliminate the power source as the root cause. I hope that if you can not get the screen working, that scan then print is a viable work around for you to make copies.

Can't use "Copy Finder Items" after "Run Workflow"

Create a simple Automator workflow:
Set just 1 action "Create Thumbnail Images" and save it. I called it "wf1.workflow".
Now create the second workflow with 3 actions:
"Get Specified Finder Items" action (choose an image file here).
->
"Run Workflow" action (specify "wf1.workflow" as a workflow, select "Return workflow results", check "Wait for workflow to finish").
->
"Copy Finder Items" (specify any location)
Now run the workflow. Everytime I get an error.
The log:
Get Specified Finder Items completed;
Run Workflow (wf1) completed;
Copy Finder Items failed
* -[NSAppleEventDescriptor count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x113185d0
The same workflow works fine in Tiger, so I think there is a bug in Leopard Automator.
Am I right? Is there any workaround?

I can confirm I got the same results for the workflow, just don't know why as of yet. And then I somehow got it to work.
I checked the results for each action and they didn't seem unusual. The results of "Get Specified Finder Items" is a single parenthesized text string representing the file's path. The results of "Copy Finder Items" is an alias, but that should be okay.
So, deleted the thumbnail from the first run, and then ran the workflow again. It got stuck on "Run Workflow" and hung for a while. So I stopped it and removed "Run Workflow", and then added it in again. Presto! It worked, sort of. It didn't copy the thumbnail, instead it copied the original file. I'd forgotten to reset it to "Return workflow results". So, it seems to be something to do with returning the workflow results instead of the action input.
I'm going to do some more testing.

HFM can not using copy application

I install HFM 9.3.1.4 on Oracle 9.2.0.6 DB. All functions are workable, only CopyAPP cannot work, after choice source & target application and start copy application; the error massage will come out and cannot go on....

I would say that it won't work, based on the fact that macrecycling.com lists logic boards specifically for the 14-inch model:

Hi, my logic board has failed in my G3 ibook 600mhz, I have just managed to find a replacement board for it which has a 16VRAM in it. I have checked the box on my ibook & it says it is 8VRAM. Will the logiv board still be ok to fit/work etc?

That post is rather misleading.
The 8 MB logic boards probably fail less often than the 32 MB ones, from what I've seen here.
The 16 MB logic board failures may not be seen quite as often because there were comparatively few of them produced. Apple produced many more 8 MB and 32 MB iBooks than 16 MB ones, so it stands to reason that we would not see as many reports here of 16 MB logic board failures as we do failures in the other models.
The poster in the post cited did not say he actually installed the logic board he purchased, although that is certainly the assumption one would tend to make from the statement.

Bad Logic Board. Can I use a MDD?

I have a Powermac G4 Quicksilver 800mhz x 2. I can I use a MDD Logic Board with the Quicksilver processors?

I would not do it. The processor modules for both machines are different designs not to mention the heatsink.
My answer is no.
Are you positive the Logic board is bad? did you run the apple hardware test CD that came with the Quicksilver to confirm it is indeed a bad board?
