Can ADF keep multiple pages open at the same time?

My company is currently developing an application to upgrade a client's FORMS system to one based on ADF. One of our client's biggest complaints with the new technology is that he can't work on many tasks at the same time, because our application can't work with "tabs" or "different windows", like Forms can with the "open form ()" function.
Currently, we use a page called "main.jspx" with the main menu and a region under it, where we load all the "jsff" pages, which do all the different tasks in their systems (like autorizeBuyOrder.jsff, createNewOrder.jsff, etc...).
Right now, I can only have one "jsff" page loaded on the region at once, and I wanted to make my application able to load and keep track of as many as the user wants. I was thinking on something like a tabs system, or multiple windows system. Does ADF provide any elegant way to do this? Any material you can recommend me?
Much appreciated,
Daniel

  • Can't have multiple videos open at the same time?

    I often start buffering another video when one is finished, so I usually tend to have 3-4 videos open at times. However, about a week ago, the adobe flash plugin would crash. So, I followed this guide:
    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/The+Adobe+Flash+plugin+has+crashed?style_mode=inproduct
    I also disabled the plugin container. Now, the plugin stops crashing, but firefox stops responding whenever I open a third video. Then, firefox itself crashes. Please help!

    The same thing just happened when I opened a second video instead of a third one.

  • How do I keep more than one safari page open at the same time?

    New to Mac.  I'm used to being able to have several applications open at the same time, and able to check emails, eBay, camera for downloading photos, etc., but when trying this on Mac, I can't seem to figure out how to swing from email to something else....oh, it opens up eBay and other pages, but not where I left it...I have to keep starting from the beginning...name, password, etc.   I can't have 3, 4 or 5 safari pages open at the same time??  This is making my life cumbersome, and running back to the basement office and using my dying Dell desktop where life was a bit simpler.  Sometimes I need to copy a few paragraphs on one website into another....and its taking me way too long to get this done.  I know there's a way of doing this on Mac....

    Hi Suzkas,
    I was new to mac a short time ago and I had frustrations in the learning curve especially as I was so used to working with PC.
    If you look at the top left of the screen you will see the words SAFARI next to the apple logo. if not then either open safari or click on the window and the mac will then show safari at the top. If you now click on FILE you can select NEW WINDOW or NEW TAB as you wish. I often use new tab and switch between them. If you go to VIEW and select CUSTOMISE TOOLBAR you can drag an icon to the top of the safari window and you won't have to keep going to the menu to add a new tab. I will sometimes select new window to keep something separate from my other work.
    If you close down a window you will often lose your place, but using the tab system you will leave the window active unless you select the cross to terminate. If you have a separate window open you can select the orange blob (between the red and green at the top) and the window will slide down to the dock and stay there, active, for you to return and continue.
    Hope this help, stay with it, go see the instore staff and pretty soon you wont look back
    PS I have PARALLELLS6 running with a copy of windows 7 on my mac. This means that I can switch to microsoft if I want to. However, with office for mac installed I rarely need to now, the only time I ever open windows is for an application that has no mac version.

  • Can I have 2 browsers open at the same time

    I heard from my friend that I cannot have 2 browsers open at the same time. He said that it will damage the computer. I have an iMac with the intel chip. I do somethings online that I need 2 browsers open for long periods of time. Is this okay?

    Yes of course you can. I have run Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Opera simultaneously.

  • How can I have 2 webpages open at the same time?

    With my previous IP I could have 2 websites open at the same time, useful when making comparisons. I'm sure there must be a way to do this with Firefox but I can't find it.

    Open the first website you want and then click on "file" and then on "new window." Another window will appear so now you have 2 windows on your screen. Reduce the two windows so that they both fit on your screen. Now click on the edge of either window and then on the book mark of the website you want and that website will appear in that window, and do the same thing on the other window for a different book mark, OR type in a different website name in each of the windows and you will get those websites in the respective windows.
    I know...it seems so easy, but I had to ask someone else how to do it too !

  • Can 2 matrix windows be open at the same time, for different parts?

    I played a midi part freely, and then overdubbed a second part on a different audio instrument "in unison" (there is a joke here, I know), but some of the note attacks were slightly off.
    I wanted to open the matrix windows for both parts to align the notes. But I could open only one window at a time. Is there a way to open both matrix windows at the same time so you can look at the two parts side by side?
    Thanks for any advice,
    Jim

    yes - but in order for it to work u should not enable the link button - the pink one in the upper left corder of the matrix...

  • How can you have all pages open at the same display size, instead of having to hit Ctrl+ to get the size you want?

    In IE the page can either be set to 100% or whatever you wish, and once set future pages open up displayed the same way. With FF every time I open a page I have to hit ctrl+ about 3 or 4 times to get it to fill the screen
    I have tried changing the default font to 16 with a min of 16 and not letting the page decide etc. I am sure that this has been asked before, but I have not used FF in several years.
    Thanks

  • Having multiple resultsets open at the same time

    Hi,
    I have the following piece of code to populate multiple resultsets returned by a call to a stored procedure in Sybase.
    int l_noOfResultSetsReturned = 0;
    int l_nextResultSetToPopulate = 1;
    boolean l_isResultSet = l_CallableStatement.execute();
            while( l_isResultSet )
                switch ( l_nextResultSetToPopulate )
                    case 1:
                        l_reportListResultSet =  l_CallableStatement.getResultSet();
                        break;
                    case 2:
                        l_inputSetterResultSet = l_CallableStatement.getResultSet();
                        break;
                    case 3:
                        l_outputGetterResultSet = l_CallableStatement.getResultSet();
                        break;
                    case 4:
                        l_outputColumnHeaderResultSet = l_CallableStatement.getResultSet();
                        break;
                    default:
                        //throw new CubeInvalidNumberOfResultSetsException();
                        System.out.println(" More than 4 RS returned");
                l_noOfResultSetsReturned++;
                l_nextResultSetToPopulate++;
                l_isResultSet = l_CallableStatement.getMoreResults(PreparedStatement.KEEP_CURRENT_RESULT);
            }The problem is that when I try to run this, I get the following error:
    java.lang.AbstractMethodError: com.sybase.jdbc.SybCallableStatement.getMoreResults(I)Z
    I am using NetBeans 3.6 as the IDE with the java version 1.4.2_06. I got this error when I tried using jconnect45.jar for the driver part. I also tried the same with jconn2.jar. It also gave me the same error.
    I need someway to ensure that the four resultsets are open for further down the line processing. Any help would be most welcome.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ganesh

    I think the AbstractMethod Error is caused by calling a method which is not available on your JDBC Driver. This means you are using a JDBC 3 method on a JDBC 2 driver (or JDBC 2 on JDBC 1 driver). Check the JDBC version of your driver and use only the methods allowed for the JDBC driver version you have (or get a newer one).
    Good Luck!

  • But can you have two libraries open at the same time?

    I have a few libraries stored externally, that I don't acceess much as they have older images, and my main current library. I was wondering whether, with the new management scheme, it would recognize the external libraries as source images, linked to my main library, so that when I'm connected to the external drive, they appear in my main library, fully editable, but when the external is offline, they appear as linked offline previews.
    In other words, will the other libraries be suitable as "other" source folders?

    I don't know if it would quite work like that, but you could import all the projects from those other libraries, then use the new tools to move the master files back to those external drives. Then you would essentially have what you were looking for, which is one central library with some master images held offline in case you needed them later.

  • How do I open multiple Firefox home pages? I want all of my different Firefox email accounts open at the same time. I recently upgraded to Win7 and now I have to close and open Firefox to access another email acount!

    I want 3 separate, distinct Firefox home pages for each of my 3 email accounts to be open at the same time.

    Questions are typically followed by a question mark. My answer answered your question.
    Firefox doesn't do email, so there are no "Firefox email accounts". If you are accessing "email" with Firefox, you are using web mail. Some web mail services don't allow for direct access, they want their users to access their email from a "portal" or "main" page and will re-direct any attempt to load an "internal" web site page back to the main page.
    As far as loading 3 different web mail accounts at the same time, if they are in the same domain it won't work on Firefox without a Firefox addon. http://br.mozdev.org/multifox/
    IOW, if those three email accounts all with Yahoo, without that add-on you would have to logon to each email account separately and log out of the first before logging into the 2nd. Then log out of the 2nd before logging into the 3rd. Firefox isn't capable of having multiple session cookies for simultaneous logon's to the same server. That add-on provides that "multiple sessions cookies" feature.
