Can anyone help me out here, bought an ipod touch 2.o and when i connect it to my computer it shows up ipod fin ebut when i try to connet it to itunes it say cant connet to ipod becouse it doesnt have the right soft wear???
i bought this ipod off a friend its second hand but it worked before,, my friend cleared it out so my son can put his own stuff in it ,, but when i turn it on its shows only a usb conneting to itunes and when i connect it to itunes it says soft wear not reconignised and that i should reninstall itunes which i have done 3 times and still it wont connect to itunes,,
ok try this out:
turn the ipod off, than hold the home button and than connect it with your computer, keep holding the home button, if it work fine itunes will give you a message that it found a device in recovery mode and you can try to restore it

How long have you left the iPod to charge? It can take up to 30 minutes before it shows any signs of life. Did you use the instructions in this article to properly reset the Shuffle?

I have started to put my Digital Copies to my IMac with external hard drive, then on my MacBook Pro I can see the movies, but if I close out my IMac, I can't access my movies on my laptop???

Downloaded 10.5 iTunes and when I put in an audio book to import into iTunes as soon as I begin typing book info notice appears that iTunes has stopped working and windows 7 closes iTunes. Anyone else have this problem? I hate that you have no way to contact these people and report problems. I tried the old feedback but that didn't get anywhere. Please, I've got several audio books to load and I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks

I connected my brand new iPod Classic 160 GB to my brand new Sony home entertainment system through the headphone jack (to the audio line in). The volume is ridiculously low. Can somebody help me out here?
Make sure the volume on the iPod is turned up fully, since this will affect what you hear through the stereo.
Make sure Volume Limit is set to full. (From Main Menu, Settings/Volume Limit)
If you purchased your iPod inside the EU (European Union), then the maximum volume from the headphone jack is lower than elsewhere in the world. If this is the case, buy yourself a 30-pin Dock Connector to 3.5mm jack lead, such as the one linked here...

That connector will take a higher volume out (than the European Union's output) and that will be louder (and hopefully loud enough) through your stereo. -

so i log inn my email and password and go to appleid.apple.com now i was transfered to the recovery section when i was about to reset my question security i was about to open my yahoo mail the problem is i cant access my yahoo mail anymore also it was locked due to inactivity for so long.. so i decided to make a new email address but my problem is the apple support is keep on sending my recovery on my old email address thats why my 25$ is stocked inside my account i cant used it.
i tried send a message to apple supports and they just replying me an article message or article guide to access but it doesnt help... as i said i cant access my old email address so how can i reset my recovery security questions...

Can anyone help me sync calendars from my iPhone to my Mac and help me figure out how to edit or delete lists in Reminders? I thought upgrading to Mountain Lion would work, but I'm having the same problem as before under Snow Leopard. So, here's my situation.
I'm running 10.8.2 on a Macbook Pro. I have a 3GS iPhone running 6.0.1. I can make entries on my Mac Calendar and they will show up on my iPhone, but if I make an entry on my iPhone, it never makes it to my Mac. Also, I notice that when I log in to my iCloud account on my Mac, it has a "me.com" email address as my apple i.d., but it is not my primary account i.d. and I can't figure out how to delete it. Also, my Reminders application won't allow me to delete lists I created. Contacts, on the other hand, work instantaneously regardless of where the change is initiated.On you iPhone check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the calendars section). Here be sure you have selected the Calendar listed under your iCloud account ID as your default. If you haven't, make this change, then enter a new event on your phone and see if it syncs properly now.
You should be able to delete you reminders list by, from the Lists view, tapping Edit at the top, then tapping next to the list you want to delete and tapping Delete. -

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to: Notes
Then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.

Restore your device as NEW. Before you add any apps to it (other than the ones that come with iOS 6), try out the phone. If it still doesn't work, you'll need to go to Apple for phone replacement.
