Can Data Templates be 'uploaded' into BI Pub?
I've developed several data templates which I need to support a given report.
Up to this point I've either edited/developed them within the BI Pub tool's Data Template editor or cut-n-paste them to here from another editor.
This works, but, is it possible to upload them into the tool, as you can for report layouts, and associate them with the data model?
This would definetly be needed for version control of anything being sent to a customer or production environment.

We're still in the process of evaluating reporting tools which provide our customers some control over the report format and we're at least a year away from deliveing anything. But at least it sounds like I can check this issue of my list.

OK, there is a method that you can use to import an image into a form with Reader 11, but it has to first be converted to PDF, which is relatively easy to do these days. It involves using a simple JavaScript as discussed here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4943623
That's really just the minimum and you would typically add additional code to detect what PDF viewer is being used and warn the user if it's not sufficent.

The alternative is to create an XFA form in LiveCycle Deisgner, which allows an image field that can be used to import a JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or GIF. It will work with previous versions of Reader. LiveCycle Designer came with the Windows version of Acrobat Pro prior to Acrobat 11, but is a separate product now. -
All my image files are on externals, so my only folder to move regarding this would be Photoshop and Lightroom.
You need to install Photoshop on your new machine. Once installed you can sync you new installation with your old cc install. If your assets and Photoshop add-ons are on the external drive your done if you link them into you Photoshop paths. I prefer to copy my Photoshop add-on like Plug-ins and Scripts to the boot disk and link then in there. Adobe removed additional plug-in folder from preferences and never had an additional script folder support. Using Files system links work just fine. I have CS2, CS6, CC and CC 2014, They all share the same Plug-ins and Scripts. Some do not work in CS2 because they user new features not in CS2.

I can be done in 2 ways.
1. Using LSMW you can upload your MD61 demand thru Excel sheet.
2. You can use BDC to upload the demand from Excel. For this you need to take help from the ABAP. You need to record the macro usinf SHDB and the table maintenance will be taken care by the developer.
For LSMW you need not depend on your developer, as a functional consultant you can do it yourself.

1. Get your DBA to create directory object in oracle using the following command:

Note: This directory is on the server.
2. Grant read,write on directory directory_object_name to username;
You can find out the directory_object_name value from dba_directories view if you are using the system user account.
3. Logon as the user as mentioned above.
Sample code read plain text file code, you can modify this code to suit your need (i.e. read a csv file)

Please post your query in forum Web Dynpro ABAP Forum, under Application server.
You have to define the source component as in the used component in the target one to do that.
after that you will be able to get data from that component.

You can do it in multiple ways. One way would be to try transfer the parameters through URL & the other would be to work with the concept of interface nodes. Please try go through these 2 threads ( [Thread 1|Call view of another WDA Component and pass the value to it; & [Thread 2|navigation from one program to another; )where I have explained about working with Interface node in detail. You can refer to this [thread |receving parameters between two standard webdynpro applications;to see as to how you can do the same via parameters in URL. Hope it would help resolve your problem.

To offer integrated forms, so like Jotform, there are templates that can be used and upload options to FTP client as well as other built in widgets.
What you need is merged help.
You generate a parent and all the child projects. You always install the parent and then whichever child projects you require. The TOC, search and index automatically adjust. See the pages on my site.
Note though that many people take another view to your Product Development. Show all the help and then people see information about something and realise they need it!

I have added photos from iPhoto into Photo Stream and enabled my iCloud but I can't see any uploaded photos. Does this sound right?
Enable PhotoStream in iCloud first, then add the photos to PhotoStream in iCloud. Of course, you will need PhotoStream also enabled on your other devices also in order to view them.

I need to upload into configurator an app I got when it was free, however I can't PURCHASE the app as it thinks I already have it in my VPP account. I am using TWO MacBooks and TWO configurator profiles - one on each MacBook, BUT one school VPP apple ID in iTunes. I downloaded this app when it was free and put it into ONE configurator account, but I now want to put it into the other account on the other MacBook. I understand I need to pay for the app and get codes, however as it is already downloaded into my VPP iTunes, it comes up as downloaded and I don't know how to redeem codes or pay for it?
