Can I add Any Layer on drawing canvas ? if yes, How ?

I am developing a paint application in java JApplet. And I am drawing something like rectangle, free hand, oval, circle on canvas. I want to add Layer, which gives me seperate layer to work without erasing previous. I just read about LayeredPane and GlassPane. Which is suitable for using drawing. If it is layeredPane. then please tell me how to add single layer at single action performing like when I want to press pencil button then the layer will add. And when i want to press rectangle then second layer will add. And if it is GlassPane then how can i use it. I have used Glasspane. It making all buttons disabled. I just want to use it within drawing canvas. Please help me.....

Hello,
I have read all documentation of JLayeredPane. Now I want to use it. Firstly I want to tell you that I have used a separate private class that is extending Panel. Then I have used double buffering for drawing anything on it. And after this I have added this class on JApplet by using getContentPane(). Can i add this canvas as layer, which contains images or drawing. Now what i want that When i have draw some thing on drawing canvas. And again want to draw something on canvas. at that time the canvas will add a layer which is a panel with setOpaque(false). which is totally transparent. And after set layer on canvas. the previous drawing remain same not be wash out or lost. And I can see the previous drawing after set layer. Please tell me how to do this. If you have any simple example or any advice for doing right thing. please tell me or send me.

Can't add any more buddies, but i always could, even over the limit..

On my iChat buddy list (on an AIM account), I have a lot over the 200 maximum, and it has always worked fine. I had almost 300 buddies, and then tried to add a few more. The first one worked, but the second two adds didn't. Is there a way to fix this other than deleting some buddies?

This would mean that you aren't really removing the element
from either
Design or Code view. If the code is there, the element is
there. If the
code is not there, the element is not there.

It would be hard to diagnose what might be happening without
seeing your

Can't add any more AP Divs

Hi,
I'm building a site for my husband which is built entirely
with AP Divs (in CS3). Messy, but quick and easy.
Never made a website before, so it's all a bit new to me!
I've got to the stage now though, where I can't add any more.
I can draw the shape using the Draw AP Div tool, but as soon as I
let go of the mouse button, the box disappears (it doesn't get as
far as becoming a blue box).
I've checked that it's not hidden beneath another layer.
One thing I have noticed is that if I use design view to
delete an AP element, it doesn't seem to get removed from the code.
Anyone got any ideas?

I have two apple id's one from my old laptop and one from my iPhone. I saved my iTunes library to my external hard drive and then tried to transfer it to my iMac. My music skips like a scratched cd now and I can't add any to my iPhone. Help please!

I have two apple id's one from my old laptop and one from my iPhone. I saved my iTunes library to my external hard drive right before my old mac laptop died and then tried to transfer it to my new iMac. Now when I try to play my old music it skips like a scratched cd. Also, now I can't add any music to my iPhone unless it was purchased recently through itunes and downloaded through icloud. I tried to "Organize" my library in hopes of correcting the problem but my iMac just ejects my external harddrive part way through. Please help!

Of what did your old Mac die?
It sounds to me like you have some file corruption somewhere. Either in the transfer of your library to the external or the external itself is flaky if it keeps ejecting.

Yes, if you choose the Erase and Sync option (or restore your iPod) you will be allowed to sync your iPod with the new computer.
If you would like to save the content that's currently on your iPod, see this older thread from another forum member Zevoneer discussing the different ways to copy the content on an iPod back to your PC.

Just updated to iTunes 10.2.1 and now can't add any new songs.

My MACbook is running 10.5.8 and just last week I updated to iTunes 10.2.1 but now I can't add any new songs at all. I go through the motions but when I check the "recently added" checklist, it's blank. The song is never added to my iTunes library. Is there a fix for this?

RESOLVED.
I tried updating iTunes to 10.2.2 thinking this might somehow help me but same situation. Upon further investigation, the set of MP3s I was trying to add didn't have the typical MP3 logo on them. When I tried to delete them from my system, it said "in use by application". I forced a delete. I copied the MP3s again to my MACbook and this time was successful in adding them. Looks like it was a bad set of MP3s and not iTunes.

I found that the Thunderbolt input accepts the mini-DVI (in my case converter to VGA for a tutorial use monitor)
BUT, you have to really oush it in 'til it clicks. I thought it too loose until I tried it. works just fine!!

HELP! I can't add any clips to the storyline.

It used to work fine, dragging clips to the storyline or using Insert or Append.
Now I can't add any clips to the storyline, dragging doesn't seem to drag any clips, Append and Insert don't react.
I create a new project, and I see the storyline, but can't add anything to it.

Can't add any users while logged in as the ADMIN

Back in my post, http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5314598#5314598 , I was stuck in a broken auto login, unable to get past the solid blue screen. I was able to fix that but now I can not add any new users to the accounts pane. Logged in as the ADMIN, I click on the + and nothing happens. I can not add anymore accounts. What can I do to solve this?

It is probably some residual effect from your single user mode actions detailed in your previous post.
Run *Repair Permissions* from Disk Utility to see if that is the cause.
If that doesn't fix it, try deleting the com.apple.loginwindow.plist from your admin account's Library/Preferences folder.
There is also the same file in
HD/Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow.plist
but I am not sure about the consequences of deleting that, as I've never done it.
Whichever you delete, log out and log back in again to re-create them.

Can't add any new email account - Bug with Ios 6.1.3?

For unknown reason, I can't add any new email account, I get stuck with when I have entrered my email address and password. In fact, the system says " checking" but nothing is happening. Do you have any idea?
Somebody proposed me to reset Safari which I did with same result.
I have two Iphone and 1 Ipad and I have exactly the same problem on all of them.

I finally found the reason, it was linked with my email suffix which was a shorten version. When I put the long one, my email address has been recognized. The strange things is the fact, I have set up earlier the same account in pop instead of imap without any issue. I need to fight with the server name too as my standard incoming server was not recogized on imap (no reason as it works with other system). However, I found my way and it works.

Can't add any album artwork

Hi. When I add any album to itunes, I can't add any artwork for the album after. I use EAC for the trasfer of the songs and when I import them to itunes, I copy the album cover from internet and paste it to the left corner square. Sometimes it works but as soon as I switch songs the artwork disappears. I tried to add it by going to get info and by selecting all songs and nothing works. Any help would be appreciated.

What format are the tracks in? WAV won't take artwork. Anything else is likely to be a permissions problem - your account (or everyone) and SYSTEM need full access, files must not be read only..

Hello.
i can't add any file to my itunes.when i wanted add a music,folder or file to my library,itunes crashed And i get the error message "iTunes has stopped working" and the only option I have is to close the program. I looked around the Apple suppport site and did everything they recommended. Like:uninstalling iTunes,Apple Software Update,adding the path and disconnecting internet.I get the newest version of itunes But nothing, I still can't add a file.unfortunately i should restore my iPhone but i can't add thr firmware. I have the same problem with itools and ifunbox.I am using Windows 7.
What should i do?

drag'n drop isn't supported in iM08 ..
follow the 'Import...' routine ..
note: iM08 is meant for camcorders (and similiar devices), not a 'all kind of video-files'..
