Can i change a field properties without affecting source code?

I have an application that is running a test. A field ask a technician to add a serial number, however this field only accepts numeric characters and i have alphanumeric serial numbers. Can i change the porperty of this field wihtout affectinc the source code?

No probably not, unless your chars are 0..9 and A..F only. In that case
you could change the numeric control to display Hexadecimal numbers.
Only 8 hex-char length however for the int32 which is the maximum size
integer you can use.
For anything else you need a string control to enter alpha chars. The
problem is even more complicated as you will have to change more things
downstram the wire where you use that serial number.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Ask your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature; they may have a way to set a temporary greeting.

you can do it in this way.
open sm30->tablname->edit
snow select the row(s)->copy->change the keyfield values-back->save.
no in that sm30, select records with old primary key and delete->save.
so you got all field similar for those record under modification, only the key field changed.

All I want to do, is to change one field's property from NUMBER to DATE in the property palette. It does not allow me to do it (not east like forms). I can not change the field property - 10gR2 reports keep crashing on Linux :(

What are the proper steps to change one field (in my query, the field name is ptime, it was defined as a number field originally, and now I need to change it to DATE and apply the proper format mask). The matching database field definition was modified from number to date.

nop, did not change anything in the select statement at all. Just selected the related query under the data model (in the navigator), then selected the related query from within the property panel, connected to the db, then from the related navigor menu selected compile all, when the related query was highlighted (selected). Then I saved it, checked the groups, and bingo - the datatype was changed from number to date. Then I went to the related object under the page layout and applied the format mask (that was another funny story). And it worked. It is not as flexible as the forms for sure - pain in the a.. And I still don't know why Reports Builder keeps crashing on Linux - have no problems with Forms Developer on Linux at all. It is a certified RH platform with all the required libs, rpms, etc installed. I am certain it is not an installation issue. Maybe I should check Metalink and apply if an iDS 10gR2 patch exists for reports.

A lot depends on the form of the PDF. Is it graphics, a scan of a text file, pure text, or other? What version of Acrobat are you working with.
You can do a save as to get a WORD file, but do not expect great results. The ability to get a decent WORD file depends on what the form of PDF you are working from. If it was created from WORD with tags and all, you might get good results. If not, you might get a lot of messed up results.
Explain what you are starting with and your ultimate goal. Also check the audit of the file (should be under PDF Optimize) to see where the file information is concentrated (text, fonts, graphics, other).

iTunes, iCloud, Messages and FaceTime are all seperate services. You could change your ID for Messages without affecting anything else. If you wish to change your ID for iCloud, you would need to save your data, please let us know if you wish to use another ID for more than messages.

Changing the field properties (editabel/greyed out) dynamically?

I am developing an Adobe interactive form. My requirement is dynamically changing the filed properties based on the other field values/selections/inputs.
1) For example in the form, if user puts value_A in field_1, then, the field_2 should be greyed out.
2) If user puts value_B in field_3, then, system automatically populate the value_C in field_4 in order to let the user make easy- user friendly
3) If user puts value_D in field_5, then, only allowed value in field_6 is value_E, if by mistake user puts value_F in field_6, then, system should throw error message
Pls. let me know how to achive this DYNAMIC functionality in the FORM or do we need to handle from WEbDynPro ABAP side?

Everything you have mentioned is possible in the form itself. Just write the valid script at valid event of valid field.
