Can i change Background of forms runtime?

Hi,
I'm using running forms 10g in IE8.There is a log on screen in which the oracle default background is displaying.Is there any option to change that with an image of my own.
i tried changing the entry in formsweb.cfg to
# Forms applet parameter
background=F:\Pics\oraclered.jpg
but it's not displaying the image.If there is an option for this,please quot it here.

what i suggested you do the same.
if you have pic in jpg format so plz convert it into gif format
and then you can use the same gif for background and as well as for logo.
and if you do not want to use gif then modify the Registry.dat
and modify the following.
default.icons.iconpath=
default.icons.iconextension=gif <------------------------------- change to jpghope this helps you

Under the Format menu select Advanced and the click on Make Master Objects Selectable. Now click on the red area. You'll notice little faint x's at the corners. In the Arrange menu click on Unlock. Now you can edit the color. (In this case a gradient.) When you finish, go back and Lock it again and deselect Make Master Object Selectable.

In Numbers '09 the Sheet is white (period), You can, however, place a coloured shape on the Sheet, and apply your desired fill colou to that shap, then ruse the Arrange menu to Move it to the Back, then resize it and position it as needed to fill the background.

* a simple RMI
* RMI over fixed ports
* RMI over HTTP.
After selection the application registers the proper socket factory with the RMISocketFactory.setSocketFactory(...) method. So, if the user disconnects from the server and tries to reconnect with another "submethod", the application throws the following exception:
java.net.SocketException: factory already definedAPI says "The RMI socket factory can only be set once", so how can I change the connection submethod at runtime?

Hi I can't set the background via .setBackground() method on my JLabel.
I'm painting in it via Graphics cast to Graphics2D, but would first like to set the background to white.
I have tried setting the background of the JLabel, Graphics, Graphics2D...
Any ideas ?

A JLabel is normally transparent so you can't see its background. If you do setOpaque(true) on it, then you can see its background and set it to be whatever colour you like.

The same is working in some other machine which are in different network. So, I have replaced the wlclient.jar with the wlthint3client.jar.
After replacing this jar I was getting the below exception in client logs while requesting a state less session bean.I also checked whether the request is reaching the server (bean) or not, but its not reaching the server.The problem is same at all the machines irrespective of the networks.

I have tried one more thing, I have taken all the required jars to one of the client machines and executed the main class (by setting the required class path) from cmd using java instead of javaws. Surprisingly, its working fine with out any problem using the wlthint3client.jar.
I also tried the same, by placing wlclient.jar using java in the same way(from cmd instead of javaws ), but I was facing the same exception while requesting the second session bean and found the same above exception in client logs.
To resolve this, I come across the java bug that I have given earlier "_http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4809366_".
In that page, I found a work around for this; suggested by bea to add the Runtime permission "permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "getClassLoader";" to the clients java.policy
So, please suggest me a way to resolve this problem.
Please suggest me if you have any other solutions for this problem.

I still think your problem is nothing to do with that ancient non-bug and that you should be looking elsewhere. You might be lucky and find someone here who can say "Ah, I know what that is" but I doubt it because since Oracle took over Sun this site has gone down hill big time.

The same is working in some other machine which are in different network. So, I have replaced the wlclient.jar with the wlthint3client.jar.
After replacing this jar I was getting the below exception in client logs while requesting a state less session bean.I also checked whether the request is reaching the server (bean) or not, but its not reaching the server.The problem is same at all the machines irrespective of the networks.

I have tried one more thing, I have taken all the required jars to one of the client machines and executed the main class (by setting the required class path) from cmd using java instead of javaws. Surprisingly, its working fine with out any problem using the wlthint3client.jar.
I also tried the same, by placing wlclient.jar using java in the same way(from cmd instead of javaws ), but I was facing the same exception while requesting the second session bean and found the same above exception in client logs.
To resolve this, I come across the java bug that I have given earlier "_http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4809366_".
In that page, I found a work around for this; suggested by bea to add the Runtime permission "*permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "getClassLoader";*" to the clients java.policy
So, please suggest me a way to resolve this problem.

I am building a website in flash and was wondering if it is possible to change the background size for each page of a website that I build in Flash?
I know how to change the template background etc. but I changed the background size to a bigger size on page 3 and now the whole site is like that.

Yes you can, but it depends on how your site is set-up. Do
you have separate SWFs for each page or is you entire s
ite built into 1 SWF? In order to have your
pages be different you will want to
break the SWF into to separte parts which ulimatly is better anyways, it allo
ws you to increase you SEO which can be difficult with Flash site anyways and it helps with loading.
Anyways have your pages be the size you want them and when linking page to page use your getURL commands.
And then when you put them into a HTML doc, focus on your container style and make that differ from page to page.
