Can I change the path where my app reads native code?

I have created an application that is using a native code file. It is (that is the DLL file) stored in the JDK folder in (jdk1.6.0_16\jre\bin) and my application reads from there.
Is it possible to make the application to read the native file from somwhere else? From the JAR file?

You can get the VM to look for native files (DLLs on Windows, SOs on Linux) by specifying
java -Djava.library.path="path to your DLL/SO" etc. when you start your app.

    Path where i want to store. Can any one help me out in this issue.

    Hi,
    Please check this.
    DATA: DIR TYPE STRING.
    CALL METHOD CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>DIRECTORY_BROWSE
      EXPORTING
        WINDOW_TITLE         = 'Select Folder'
        INITIAL_FOLDER       = 'C:'
      CHANGING
        SELECTED_FOLDER      = DIR
      EXCEPTIONS
        CNTL_ERROR           = 1
        ERROR_NO_GUI         = 2
        NOT_SUPPORTED_BY_GUI = 3
        others               = 4.
    Now that you have the directory, you can add the filename and save to the location.

    and I don't know who's email is that ? can I change that and if I can can you guys help me please it means a lot

    Not without correctly answering two of them. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Can I change the drive where iPhoto save image files?

    I have two internal hard drives 80GB and 250GB. All my app's and iPhoto are currently installed on the smaller drive which is where iPhoto saves all my images. Is there anyway change the location where iPhoto save all my images? I looked at preferences for iPhoto, but can't find anything
    PowerMac G4   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   iPhoto 6.0.4

    Brian
    Quit iPhoto
    Copy the iPhoto Library folder in home/Pictures to the required drive.
    Restart iPhoto holding down the option (alt) key.
    This will give you the option of creating a new library or choosing one, select the choose option
    Navigate to the new Library
    When you are sure that all has gone well, you can get rid of the original.
    Regards

  • HT201361 Can I change the directory where screen capture saves the png files?

    hi:
    screen capture questions:
    1) Can I change the directory/place where the macbook (maverick osx) screen capture it putting the png/images?
    Currently it is going to my desktop and I would like it in another spot.
    2) Can I change the default name to include a number e.g so each screen capture increments by 1 rather than telling sequence by time?
    thankyou

    If you use the Grab.app in Applications/Utilities, you can name the file whatever you want and place it whereever you want. Filenames are not automatically incremented, however.
    The disadvantage is that it saves the capture only in .tiff format, not .png
    But double-clicking on the saved .tiff file will open it in Preview.app, and you can then Option+Save As in .png format in that same folder, or elsewhere.
    Grab.app has some other nice features too, such as selecting a cursor shape to be displayed (or none), and doing a timed screen capture.
    And of course there are other apps...

    by using the getrealpath able to store videos in web-inf file...
    how can i change the location...

    this is the part of code in which i want to change my storage location:
    ** * The base path corresponds to the base directory of the
    * application context's WEB-INF directory. This means that
    * this directory is NOT visible to the end user.
    public static String getBasePath(javax.servlet.ServletContext context)
    { return context.getRealPath("/") + "WEB-INF" + directorySep;}
    /** * The temporary directory used to store files while they are
    * being uploaded. */
    public static String getTempPath(javax.servlet.ServletContext context)
    { return getBasePath(context); }
    /** * Gets the upload directory - used to indicate the local file
    * system storage area.
    can u tell me now how to change the context value???
    and how to change the storage loction??

  • Can you change the name of an app on the 4S?

    Cannot find info in the manual but I thought that I read it somewhere. Is there a way to change the name of purchased apps? I know you can change folder names but what about app names?? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
    Mike

    To the best of my knowledge you can't alter any app in any way, including the name. Not sure why you would want to do so, but you can always just delete the app and add it back without additional costs whenever you need to use it...not sure if that would address your reasoning for wanting to change the name of the app though.

    Can we change the Control File Paths.
    I want to move my control file from drive C:\ to Drive D:\
    How much is Risk Envolve?
    Is this better to recreate the Control File rather than to transfer from C:\ to D:\
    Which is the better option?

    Only Change this parameter ( CONTROL_FILES ) in the parameter file or in the spfile and shutdown/startup the instance.

    No, you cannot. They are set by the App developers and they are the only ones who can change any visual aspects of how the app looks on the Home Screen.

  • How can I change the location where iTunes saves iOS 5.1, new data, synchronized apps and other data?

    My hard drive C is full. I changed the location of the mediathek to an external hard drive F and moved all media data there. Also, I synchronized my iPad with this new set-up. So far, everything worked out well.
    Now, why is iTunes stll saving data, like the much needed iOS 5.1, to C? This actually makes it impossible for me to finally update my iPad, because my C drive is simply full!
    Also, iTunes does not synchronize my iPad apps or my photos. When I try to synchronize them manually, iTunes starts to save data to my C drive. How can I change that to my external drive F?
    In a nutshell, how can I move iTunes once and for all to my external hard drive F (or at least, to a different hard drive on my computer)? There is simply no space on my C drive for it at all.
    Thankyou so much for an answer, I am literally going nuts right now!

  • How can I change the location where itunes stores my backup?

    I don't know how to change the location were itunes stores my backup and my transfer purchases. I don't have enough memory on the hard driver where the windows is installed.Please help me!!!

    Transferred purchases usually get stored in the iTunes Media folder although if your library started life back on iTunes 8 or earlier then apps could be stored within the main iTunes library folder. This post gives an overview of how to restructure your library on a different drive. I can give specific instructions if you tell me more about your current setup.
    To change where iTunes stores iOS device backups redirect <Profile>\<AppData>\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup to a folder on another drive using NTFSLink (shell ext., might only work on XP) or Junction (cmd line tool). In essence you move the existing folder to a new location, create an empty folder where the old one used to be, then get the operating system to link the two together and silently redirect any file operation on the old location through to the new one.
