This may be a surprise for you, but what about looking in the MIDP API docs:
An immutable image may be created from a mutable image through the use of the createImage method. It is possible to create a mutable copy of an immutable image using a technique similar to the following:
Image source; // the image to be copied
source = Image.createImage(...);
Image copy = Image.createImage(source.getWidth(), source.getHeight());
Graphics g = copy.getGraphics();
g.drawImage(source, 0, 0, TOP|LEFT);It is also possible to use this technique to create a copy of a subrectangle of an image, by altering the width and height parameters of the createImage() call that creates the destination image and by altering the x and y parameters of the drawImage() call.

Why do you continue to think this although we keep telling you that this is not the case.
You do NOT have to purchase anything twice. You can share the music with as many ipods as you like in your household.
The ipods are designed to sync with your computer regularly. You should have been syncing these other ipods with your computer all along, thus transferring the purchases to your computer where that music can be synced to as many ipods as you like.
Take on of the ipods with the music in it. Open itunes on your computer. Plug in the ipod. Do not sync. Click File>Transfer Purchases This will transfer the purchases from the ipod to the computer. Make sure that you have authorized your account on the computer: here are directions for that. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
Unplug the ipod.
Plug in the other ipod with purchased music. Do not sync. Click File>Transfer Purchases This will transfer purchases from the ipod to the computer.
You can now plug in any of the ipods, select what you want to sync and sync.

Problem is not win 7 or WinXP as your competitor "Opera" can do this.Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

FileVault can't copy disk image?
Hi Folks,
I wanted to enable FileVault on my computer but it keeps failing when I try to initiate it. I get a message saying that it can't copy disk image. What can I do about that?

If you go to Lock Your Data with Disk Image, you will find the directions on how to do it.

Hi, I am trying to download IOS7 (not sure if it's 1 or 2) to my ipad. The programme has locked at the 'Choose a Wif-Fi network' page, a box says 'joining other network' but the page is greyed out and can't move from it. How can I clear this screen and finish the download. Thanks

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
After the device has turned off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

You've merely inadvertently hidden it.
Hiding/unhiding panels and modules is a little known feature of Lightroom which seems to put the fear of God into unsuspecting newbies who are not aware of the feature.
Right-click (CTRL Click on Mac) on the Module names and restore the check mark to Library. -
How can I copy an image/picture from the internet into a word document
I am trying to copy and paste an image or picture from the internet and insert it into a word document. I select and copy the image from the internet page. I then go to the word document and select past special. When I select 'paste special' it only allows text to be copied and no images or pictures. If I also try to drag the image and place it in the word document. It does not allow me to do so. Any suggestions to fix this issue?

How can I copy text&image from a website to Apple Pages at once?
I'm using Apple Pages 9.1, I can't copy text and images to pages at once. When I paste the copy contents to it, it just only shows text. With Safari, this functionality seems normal. I could copy and paste what I want to the pages.
What can I do now? I don't want to open Safari just only to copy and quit it after that. :DDoes it matter how widely you select? Firefox may be somewhat stingier in what it includes in a selection than other browsers. For example, I suspect you would have better results if you select the entire page and copy and paste it compared with a section of the page. But that's just a guess, I've never used Pages (or any of iWork).

I have songs missing from my iTunes on the computer but they are on my iPhone 3s and my iPad mini. How can I get them into iTunes so they are in my library.?I have the latest iTunes on my commuter. Thanks for any suggestions.
If they were purchased from iTunes then connect the phone to your Mac's iTunes and the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases should copy them over. If they came from other sources (e.g. copied from CDs) then you will need a third-party program on your Mac to copy them back - there are some listed half-way down this page : Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
If by 'missing' you mean that you have them listed in the Music part of your iTunes library but get the 'would you like to locate' message when trying to play them then you will need to delete them from there for the Transfer Purchases to work - otherwise that will see those entries in your library and assume that you still have them somewhere and not copy them back. -

PC crashed, lost all photos on PC, need to copy from iPad 2, HOW?
Yep, my hard drive crashed and had to re-install Windows 7 from scratch. I lost all my photos that were on my PC. Luckily, I had previously synced them to my iPad 2 so I guess I have a backup. If I try to sync now with the new PC (new library), it wants to delete all photos on my iPad (Nooo!). I tried going into the DCIM folder of my iPad using Windows Explorer but all I see are the camera roll pictures, not the previously synced albums.
So, how can I copy the albums back to my PC? Help appreciated.Photos synced from a computer cannot be copied off in the same way as camera roll photos. There are third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which also has a free 'lite' version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can be used to transfer the photos off via your wifi network. But when the photos were synced to the iPad they were 'optimised' as part of the transfer, so any that you copy back to your computer will probably not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

When I try to play my library content it tells me "The item cannot play because the original file cannot be found". I think I accidentally deleted the files thinking (wrongly) that the files were in Itunes Library.
My question is....can I copy all the files on my Ipod (Nano 16G) back on to my computer to recreate the Library.

Yes. There are several ways you can pull the music off your iPod and onto iTunes. The first link below provides step-by-step instructions for the direct method if you have a PC as well as a few third party applications (for both the Mac and PC) if you choose to go that route instead. You can also do a simple Google search for "copy music from iPod to computer" and you should receive a number of sites that can help you out.
Just make sure that when you have your iPod plugged into your computer, that you don't hit "Erase and Sync" before completing the task of copying your music over.
Also, if you have any purchased music, you will probably have to re-authorize your computer by heading to the Store drop down menu and choosing "Authorize computer."

Can't copy-paste images from Noteshelf in iOS6
Hi,
I use an app called Noteshelf (v7.0). In iOS5, I was able to copy-paste pictures from Noteshelf into other apps, such as Keynote (v1.7.1) or in an email. However, since I upgraded to iOS6, this doesn't work anymore. As the versions of Noteshelf and Keynote are the same, the logical conclusion is that something has changed in the copy-paste functionality of iOS6. Can somebody tell me about this and, better still, give me a fix for it?

Finder froze, restarted. Now keeps restarting after boot.
