Can I create material reservations on setting of particular user status?

I know that Reservation creation can be kept on hold by choosing Never/Create on release etc at operation level. My requirement is , At release of work order - reservation should not be created and on setting of certain user status reservation should be created!

I think, its not possible in Standard.
You can try with some development.
You can create 2 user statuses i.e., one is for normal & another one is for reservation creation. Give the authorization to change from 1st status to 2nd status only to some authorized people through Authorization group concept.
Keep "Never" as default option in PR / Reservation creation for your desired plant & order type combination.
Once you change the user status, while saving the order, check the current user status & change it to "From Release" at order level for all operations & materials.

Hi,
The reservation number will be same for all the material components in one network.
so as long as there are "n" components in one networks then all the "'n" components will have the same reference number.
If you need different reservation numbers then need to maintain those components in multiple networks.

Hi there,
You can create a scroll motion where the image will fade out on scrolling, you need to use the Opacity tab under Scroll Effects Panel.
If you particularly need the image to be blur out, then you need to edit that image in any image editing program and make one copy of that image as blurred, then place both images (actual and blurred) on that page and use scroll motion or fade option to replace images.

Creating Material Reservations for vendor consignment stocks

Are we able to create reservations (Tcode : MB21) for vendor consigned-stocks? I tried but there is no option to key in the special stock type in the material reservation.
Anyone can help?

vendor consignment is special stock . but in reservation your are reserving the material from your unrestricted stock to some particular operation so you will not get any special procurement type in MB21.

How do I create the project settings for footage with these properties: 1920 x 1080 47.95 fps? And some of the footage was shot with a 29.97 fps.

There is no project preset (project setting) nor export choice for 47.95 frames per second.
The project preset of a project should match the properties of your source media so that the program is directed to establish the correct space in the Edit area monitor space for editing purposes. There is only one project preset for each project. When you have a "mixed Timeline content", you will need to set priorities and then fit everything else into the one setting.
At export, you have opportunities for customizing the export settings under the Advanced Button/Video Tab and Audio Tab. And, what is exported will be as one as definied by the customized export settings.
Can we assume that your "1920 x 1080 @ 47.95 frames per second is progressive and you are in a NTSC setup? If so, look at the project preset

How can I create a lower bitrate setting in a project

Hello to all I have appcs4 and I am wondering something....When I go to create a new project every option for 720p the frame rate is 23-30 and I can not find a way to choice a lower frame rate...I am looking to use a frame rate of 15, why well I went out and bought microsofts new cam the cinema one well it states that it shoots true 720p at 30fps lie its only shooting 15fps, but the picture looks great for what I need it for...When I view what I recorded in any media player it goes to true HD with no problems...Now I load it into appcs4 the picture jumps a little the sound off by about 2 seconds...Which I know why is because it is recorded at 15fps and appcs4 is playing it at a frame rate of 23-30...But there is no way of changing the frame rate on the 720p appcs4 for they are gray...I have even tried in elements 7 and encore...Am I missing something here or it just cant be done?

I use several iPads with my students and would like to set up a folder for each student. I want to place "an alias" of each app the student uses in their folder. On my Mac, I can "make alias" and place aliases in seperate folders. How can I do that on my iPad? Thanks!

You can drag one app on top of another and make a folder. However the limit to this is, for your situation, there can be no sharing of apps....the app Fred can only be in one folder because it's only on the device once. (so it may not work for what you need)
and I cannot recall if you can edit the name of the folder.
Unfortunately, for situations like yours, the iPad was created to be a single user device, so there's really not support for multiple users or multiple levels of access.

Can I create a fillable PDF that allows the user to attach a file to the submitted form?

There are suggestions in the Help documentation and on this site that indicate it is possible to attach files to a fillable PDF form that is being submitted. But I do not see any instructions for adding this functionality to a form. I am using Acrobat 9 Pro to create my form. I have a Submit button with an Action/Menu Item/Submit a form option, and the URL link for the submission is a local coldfusion file with a #FDF suffix. The export format is HTML. The form also contains a hidden EMAILTO field, with an Options/DefaultValue option identifying the recipient's email address. (I'm guessing the local cfm file uses this field.) There is also a hidden URL field in the form, and its Options/DefaultValue specifies the URL of the fillable form itself. (Perhaps the local cfm file uses this field too.)

You have to first configure a text field so it can be used for file selection. You do this on the Options tab of the field properties dialog. In order to select the corresponding check box, make sure only the "Scroll long text" option is selected.
You then can set up a button that has the following JavaScript attached to the Mouse Up event:

getField("upload_text_field").browseForFileToSubmit();
Replace "upload_text_field" with the actual name of the file selection text field.

Hi,
I dont know about the CATS system. But when ur user selects the varaint, he should remove his own id and execute the query. This should display all the variants existing for that program. Then he can select the required variant.
The user can also save this varaint under his own ID
