Can I download and use TWO versions of Foxfire at once? I teach online, using Blackboard & my university requires me to use Firefox 3.6 for Blackboard to fully function, but want to use the latest version for personal use.

Is it possible to download the latest version, while still keeping the 3.6 version on my computer as well? I use Windows XP – thanks in advance for any help.

You might want to consider running the older version [http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/localization#legacy36 on a USB Stick with PortableApps]. That way you'll still be able to run the latest version for your day to day activities.

I don't think that extension is supported. I believe Firefox can only read .json and .html.

HT4972 I'm trying to update my iphone 3G to ios5 - however in Itunes when I 'check for updates' it is advising me that I have the latest version (4.2.1). Hence I can't update and now I can't run a few of the apps I previously used. Help!

Following a backup and restore of my iphone 3g I have lost the use of a number of apps - this seems to be as they need ios5 or later to support them and I only have 4.2.1
When I check for updates via itunes I am advised that I have the latest version - but clearly I don't.

Hello mustangcim243,
iTunes has various components bundled with it that it requires for general usage. I advise that we completely remove iTunes and all of these related components, verify that they have been removed, then reinstall. To do so, please follow the steps in this article:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

Note: it is important to remove the 7 components in order. Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
If the above does not resolve your issue, I recommend we reset the SC Info folder:

Icloud settings say i need to upgrade iphoto on my macbook, but i already have the latest version.

i have a 4S and macbook pro running together on my network. im able to sync via wifi, and i'm pretty sure my phone is sending things to icloud, but i can't activate photo stream on the macbook. when i try to turn it on in icloud settings, the option is disabled and i get a message saying install the latest version of iphoto. when i try to buy it from the app store, it says i already have the latest version. help?

You'll end up with two copies and only one will have Faces attached.
The external drive is a MyBookLive, which my Mac says is formatted for Mac. It doesn't seem to be creating any issues.
What does Disk Utility report the format as?
As I'm using a MacBook Air that doesn't have an ethernet connection, I have no choice but to import over my wireless network.
A strong warning: If you're trying to edit the Library (that is, make albums, move photos around, keyword, make books or slideshows etc.) or edit individual photos in it via Wireless be very careful. Dropouts are a common fact of wireless networking, and should one occur while the app is writing to the database then your Library will be damaged. Simply, I would not do this with my Libraries.
My biggest issue at the moment is how do I copy the photos into iPhoto without having to start the process all over again.

Check the box at the iPhoto Preferences: then
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Every day we get this request to upgrade firefox but we already have the latest version/

we`ve just upgraded firefox to 6.02 version, still we get this remark to upgrade again to the latest version. When I start downloading this I get the question whether I want to replace the already installed version with the same one?

Language support for Hindi was there in previous version of Mozilla, but its missing in the latest version, whh? all the hindi websites are un-comprehencebile, I tried the OS but my OS does not have Hindi language in it.

I have tried doing it through OS but to no avail for it does not have the Hindi language in its list. But the older version of Mozilla did supported the Hindi language websites (and that was the only reason i used Mozilla.) .This version does not supports that version(

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

Firefox says I need latest version for protection. Files for setup (and another file) download (apparently) but I can't install them. I keep going back to download. Also Adobe flash seems to have disappeared and I cannot install that either. I have tried disabling my firewall.

the trial period has now ended, and i want to buy the product.
