Can i have Messages in OVS?
Hi Friends,
In my application i need to show some error messages/pop-up messages in OVS screen.How is this possible?

I think, use the hook methods
applyInputValues(): When the OVS is requested for a field. Application context data (ovsRequestingElement) is copied to the OVS search query context (queryInputNodeElement).
onQuery(): Performs search query based on search input (queryInputNode- Element). Copies search results in helper context node (queryOutputNode).
applyResult(): User selects a single row in the search result table.Selected OVS query context (queryOutput- NodeElement) is copied to the application context
Based on this you have to put your message in onQuery.

In BPM sync/async Step , can you have different message schema?
Scenario:
File to XI to BPM to SOAP to RFC
In order to trigger the webservice , I use a dummy file which will be polled at a certain frequency- once in 30 minutes in Test mode - this will call the Webservice. The answer of webservice is sent to RFC Async.
so these are the Repository objects I created :
1. File Outbound Async Message Interface- Output Message (File_Request_MT)
2.File Abstract Message Interface-Output Message (File_Request_MT)
3.Async/ sync bridge Abstract interface to call the Webservice
4 Webservice Inbound Sync Message interface- with both input and output message
5.RFC Inbound Async message interface- input message (RFC_Request)
6 RFC Abstract Async Message interface-input message (RFC_Request)
BPM
a) Receive step which uses the the object 2.
b) Sync send which uses object 3
c) Send step which uses Object 5
I am using a BPM to Receive the file data/ "request " by using the File abstract message interface
Then use the the object 3 to call the webservice in BPM .
My question is on this step
Can I have for the abstract Interface(Object 3) the Request message as File_Request_MT and
response message as (RFC_Request) ?
I use a message mapping to map Input and Ouput message of Object 3 with Object 4.

I created a message type MT_SOAP_RESPONSE and used that in the BPM sync Send step as the Input message.

Abstract Interfaces as Output message and Input Message, am I correct? Could you please tell me whether this has advantages over using message types MT_file_request and MT_soap_reponse? I haven't used Abstract interfaces before as Input message and output message; infact, I wasn't even aware that it can be. Please confirm that it is possible. I've been running iTunes on WinXP for years with few problems. I have all my iTunes files on an external USB drive. I just bought a new PC running Win7, 64-bit.
I connected the external USB drive to the new PC and installed 64-bit iTunes on it. When iTunes started up, I pointed it at the iTunes directory in the external drive, using Edit > Preferences > Advanced > iTunes Media Folder Location. It showed a progress bar that it was updating the iTunes Library. I signed in and authorized the new machine. I have one spare authorization.
Then iTunes put up a message "The item you've requested is not currently available in the Hong Kong Store." I had not requested anything from the HK store at that point, and I have never used any store other than the HK one.
When I click OK, the iTunes Store page remains blank, apart from saying "iTunes Store" in the middle of the page.
I went to "View My Account" and pressed the Reset button to "Reset all warnings for buying and downloading items", but that doesn’t fix this particular warning. I also tried Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset Warnings and Rest Cache.
But still, every time I click the “App Store” button in the iTunes Store window, the message appears. If I click the Books, Podcasts or iTunesU buttons, these display normally. So I’m stuck with being unable to purchase apps, other than through my iPad and iPhone.
If I move the external drive back to the XP machine, the same thing happens. If I go to another PC - a notebook running Vista - everything is normal.
Any idea how I can clear that message?

I have tried re-validating my credit card, which apparently fixed it for some.
I have also tried uninstalling, re-downloading and installing again.
Neither of these steps fixed the problem. -

Hi, I have a problem that I receive lots of Spam messages from my office, I cannot bar the spam text from service provider due to official constrain.
I just want to know if there is any mechanisme where i can bar the message from a specific sender. I know there are some apps like Iblacklist available but we do not find it in any Iphone which is not jailbreak. I was just thinking of developing some code for it.No. You can't. Filtering would have to be done at the server level.

I have iPhone4 and Windows 7 Home Premium. iPhone can't backup: message 'couldn't backup because the iphone disconnected'. It started when i wanted to update to iphone3,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw and I received a 3002 error. Sync seems to work OK. Have exhausted the online discussions and tried everything. Please help
Try runing iTunes in admin mode. That fixed the issue for me. You can either right click on the shortcut on your desktop and choose to run as an admin each time you launch it or go to the advanced tab under security on the program itself and click the run as admin every time.

How can i delete messages on iMessage and have them STAY GONE?

Same thing, how can I delete from any of these and have them NOT show up on the other devices? If I delete on one, it stays on the other. It's a constant circle of deleting messages? First off.
The "Sync" as Apple calls it is only "Display on all Devices" and nothing more.
Deleting it on one device will not delete it on another.
On the Mac the iMessages are stored in ~/Library/Messages in file called chat.db with a couple of supporting database items alongside.
If you "close" or remove the chat in the list in the Messages window (the x when you mouse over the name and pic) then the iMessage will "return" as an "Aid Memoire" to the previous conversation.
This is local on your Mac and is nothing to do with any 'sync' over the iMessages servers.
The longest time I have experienced was using my iPhone on a hotel WiFi on a Friday evening away form home and picking up those same iMessage on Sunday evening when I turned my Mac on.
The iMessages servers "push" the iMessages to the devices it thinks are Registered.
However this only happens once. When the device has the iMessages the servers stop sending it.
This is to stop what you seem to describe - the endless attempt to delete the same iMessages.
It is more likely you are talking about the "history" feature.

You will want to add them to your Contacts.
There's a "+" button at the bottom of the contact list on the left to add a contact.
If you need to add the email address or phone number to an existing contact, there's an Edit button at the bottom of the contact info (on the right).
Once you have the contact email address or phone number you want to message to, scroll all the way down to the bottom of their information and there are options to:
Send Message FaceTime
Share Contact Add to Favorites
Of course choose "Send Message" to send an iMessage to them and you will start a new chat. You will be given the options of how to contact them, via phone number (if they are on an iPhone) or email (if they are on an iPod touch or iPad). They do need to be signed up for iMessage or it won't allow you to send.
