Can I join Structure with Z table?
If yes...plz explain me with an example.
PLease provide me with an example to join a structure with a Ztable...

It is possible to add fields in the form of structure to a Z table.it can be done in the form of Include or Append structure.There are no other ways to join structure to the table upto my knowledge.

3-Check this example for SQVI Query.
It is possible to generate a complete list of purchase document releases with the purchase document number (requisitions and orders), releaser, release date and release time.
First, create an Infoset using transaction SQ02 directly reading from table CDPOS and create an additional table: CDHDR. If you are releasing purchase requsitions at the item level, it is convenient to create an additional field (PURPS LIKE EBAN-BNFPO) to capture the item number. Once the field is defined add the following code to it:
PURPS = CDPOS-TABKEY+14(5).
Once created, make sure to assign your Infoset to the user groups.
Second, create an SAP Query (SQ00) or QuickViewer (SQVI) based on the Infoset you created previously. Set CDPOS-OBJECTID, PURPS (additional field), CDHDR-USERNAME, CDHDR-UDATE & CDHDR-UTIME, CDPOS-TCODE, CDPOS-VALUE_NEW, and CDPOS-VALUE_OLD as list fields (display screen).
Set CDPOS-OBJECTCLAS, CDPOS-OBJECTID, CDPOS-TABNAME, CDPOS-FNAME, CDPOS-CHANGIND, CDHDR-USERNAME, CDHDR-UDATE & CDHDR-UTIME as the selection fields (selection screen).
Finally, execute your query. For filtering purchase requisition releases set:
Object class='BANF'
Table Name='EBAN'
Field Name='FRGKZ'
Change type='U'
For filtering purchase order releases set:
Object class='EINKBELEG'
Table Name='EKKO'
Field Name='FRGKE'
Change type='U'
Make sure to specify username, dates or purchase document number (object value) in order to reduce run times.

If you're trying to join 20 tables I would check:
- Are all the joins necessary. It's easy sometimes to just join to another table because you're unsure as to whether it's required.
- What sort of application is it? 20 joins seems a lot to me. Are you trying to achieve too much with one query? Is it possible to break the problem down?
- If it is necessary to join so many tables then force the use of hash joins in the query, especially if you're processing a lot of data and want the best throughput. If you want a quicker response, this will not be a appropriate.

As i understand, you want to know till now how much of quantity stills needs to be delivered, in that case instead of trying joining two tables i would suggest to try this query which gives you

as the filed OpenQty stores the Quantity yet to receive for that particular Purchase Order. As this approach is much more flexible

I would like to join the table PRPS and DRAD in order to see all documents linked to a certain PSP. I tried to join DRADOBJKY with PRPSPSPNR but it doesn't work since the OBJKY is different from the psp-number. If I'm doing this with MARA~MATNR it works. Strange. can someboy help me?

Can you check if PRPS-OBJNR = DRAD-OBJKY ?
If this is not successful, then use the conv. exit CONVERSION_EXIT_ABPSP_INPUT, pass the PRPS-OBJNR get the internal number.
Now check that this internal number matches with DRAD-OBJKY.

Se11 structure with se11 table type included

Hi ABAP Gurus,
in order to pass a complex datastructure by RFC I want to create a new structure via SE11 which includes in addition to some normal fields an field which represents a table of a certain type. Therefore I created a table type and tried to include that in the structure definition but without success. Any ideas of how I can create such a 'non-flat' structure in the ABAP dictionary ?
I know that such a thing can be declared as a type in ABAP, but I'm not sure if I can do it in the dictionary.

Hi,
You can insert structure into the table, and vice versa is not possible.
If you want to insert structure GO to Se11 -> provide table name -> chnage/create -> edit -> include -> insert -> provide the strcuture you want to include.

Hi Dharma,
the "BBP_PDORG" is item related table, so you get the linkage in two steps:
1) BBP_PDORG (organization) <----> CRMD_ORDERADM_I (item)
Table: CRMD_LINK
Write the BBP_PDORG-SET_GUID into the CRMD_LINK-GUID_SET. As a result you will get the CRMD_LINK-GUID_HI (this is a GUID of the CRMD_ORDERADM_I).
2) CRMD_ORDERADM_I (item) <-----> CRMD_ORDERADM_H (header)
In the item table you have the GUID of the header: CRMD_ORDERADM_I-HEADER

Create Structure with dynamical Table-Type

is there a possibility, to create a structure via SE11 and including there a field which referes to a dynamic table-type.
So that I can append to this structure-field all different table-types?
for example: ones I append MARA[] and ones AFKO[]

Hi Christian,
There's not predefined generic type to do that, but you could create your own field type (deep structure) which would be able to keep table lines after transposition (90 degree flip) where in example it would have four columns: Table type, row id(index) field name, value. That way you could store ANY table row you need... This will not come cheap and will involve some work of course.
You may want have a look at standard ABAP services RRTS and RTTI (see classes and structures used in attributes an parameters) - these are two services for handling data types and metadata related operations during runtime. You may want to use them for flipping your table entries to the tabular form and so on. You may also find some ideas there on how to compose your own data type for your purposes.

Can't join AP with WiSM controller

We have a (brand new) WiSM blade installed in a 6509. The configuration looks ok, but when we try to register (join?) an AP with the controler the process fails. The controler shows the AP in the status display but the AP reboots, claiming that no join-response was received.
The controler claims that it sent the join-response, however imediatly after that it generates the error "Slot ID 0 is not valid for AP".

Turns out the SlotID 0 issue was a red herring. There was a bug in the network topology that prevented the join-reply from reaching the AP.

structure dont have any data base table associated with them so they dont have any data.
that's why we cannot join structure witha table but we can include a structure within any table.
Sytex to include structure in ztable:
fieldname data element.

Records getting multiplied by a factor of 3 when joining with other table

When i query a table association_1 records for a particular network element i get 7 records
but join it with rtts_association table to get the rtts_no i m getting 21 records.....
the problems is ... 7 records are getting multiplied by a factor of 3 resulting in 21 records ....
how can i avoid these extra records that appear in the second query

Join with another table in pre-query

Hi,
We have a large data block and we need to order some columns based on street name for example, not id. The base table of db block contains an id_street column, and 'streets' table contains id and name.
Ok, in pre-query trigger of that block, we have a complex logic and we dynamically build the where clause. At the end, we set the order_By clause of the block, to order the rows, for example we need to order by the 'my_date' column asc (it's a date type column), and street desc; but street NAME, not id. We don't want to use a from clause query, because the dynamically where clause logic it's complex.
How can we join the db block table with 'streets' table in pre-query, so when constructing the order by clause to specify something like
set_block_property('ADRESE_NEZONATE', order_by, 'my_date, name desc');where 'name' is the name of the street, from the 'streets' table.
Is it possible in pre-query, somehow? Or, in my case where can I join with that table and use that column in pre-query at setting order by?

How should look the adrese_nezonate block, then? I have to add a 'name' column and set copy value from item property to 'STREETS.NAME', and database_property No?
Then the post-query trigger how should look like (the order by clause)? The post-query sends the entire query (with where/order by clauses) to the server, but in that "select... where... order by" (built dynamically) there are only columns from that block (adrese_nezonate). I need to join with streets, INSIDE that query.

I am working on POC project and trying to Join Multiple Databases to create one rpd file . Lets say I have complete SH schema from Oracle and I want couple of tables (Time and Products) tables from Sybase .
I want bring sybase TIME and Product tables into Oracle SH Schema and create joins in physical layer. When I try to do it, it is throughing an error .. Am I missing some thing here ?

You have not mentioned what is the error!!!
we can create join b/w the tables of different databases
You need to select the table from one database and aswell as other table in other database and
right click > physical join > selected tables only...
This is the way of creating physical joins... or else you select both the databases and select physical joins...
It's better that you mention what is the error you are getting..??
