Can I make a template to create 1200 forms

I would like to have 1200 single page forms in pdf format, that each have a unique identifier (their address and business name). I currently have 1200 single page merged word docs and want to tuen each of them into a stand alone fillable form. Essentially I need to make a template that I can use 1200 times and would like to use a batch function to save some time.
Any help would be appreciated as this is new to me.

It's easier if you don't. You can do what you want using a template, but it will require some scripting. It's also easier to do than describe, but I'll try. Begin by creating the fields on a page in the locations you want, insert this page to the document, as the first page for example. You can then replace it with a blank page, which will leave the form fields behind. Then make this page a template and hide it. You can then run a script from the interactive JavaScript console that spawns the hidden template on the first page as an overlay, extracts the page that now has fields as a new document, and repeat for the rest of the pages. That's not possible (although a good idea). You can copy/paste a sidebar widget, though. So, create your base widget which will serve as your template, and then you can copy/paste it when needed throughout your iBook.

[CS4] can I make a 'template' htm page with snippets?

I know about DW templates (well, more or less) and I know
about the
choice you get in Preferences to have your new htm(l) page in
DW come
up with the (x)html(strict or not so strict) doc type etc.
What I would like is:
I start a new page in DW(10?) from a praticular site defined
in DW and
lo and behold: my head is the way I want it, certain snippets
are
included et cetera.
Am I dreaming or is this possible?

I think this approach is counter-productive. If you need more
than one or
two templates for your site, then I believe you have not
selected the
optimal method for your templates. And more than about 50-60
pages
dependent on a single template is going to quickly become a
pain IF YOU HAVE
ONLY USED TEMPLATES.
I use the following scheme....
First, I mentally separate the page layout into three
sections:
1. Stuff that will not change for the life of the site (i.e.,
the basic
structural elements)
2. Stuff that *could* change from time to time (e.g.,
navigation elements,
burst advertisements, section-specific navigation, etc.)
3. Stuff that *will* change from one page to the next
Then I create a template containing all class1 elements. Next
I create
server-side include files containing all class 2 elements and
place them on
the template as needed. Note - some of the class 2 elements
may be
"section-specific elements", and their placement on the
template will be
subject to the next item. Finally, I insert editable regions
to cover the
class 3 items, INCLUDING the section-specific navigation.
This allows me to just cookie-cut the rest of the site. I
estimate that
even for fairly large sites, about 80% of my work goes into
planning and
creating this template file.

Can you make Wiki Templates in Lion ?

Can you nake Wiki Template with Lion server ? Or do I have to start every page from scratch.

How would they accomplish these tasks if they weren't logging into the relevant systems? Installing programs requires being logged into a user account on the system unless the application is one which can be installed remotely via a system such as Apple Remote Desktop. If that's what you had in mind, perhaps one of the management systems such as Casper from JAMF Sofware might allow what you need.

Can You Make An Item Invisible In A Form?

I have been struggling with a device independent method of Text Message style alpha input using the cellphone numeric keypad, rollover style, '2' key pressed twice returns the 'B' key. (What is the name for this process?)
It appears the only way to get text input is using a TextBox Item
1. Can I Make make a TextBox invisible?
2. Can I place a TextBox of the visual area of a Form then lock scrolling on the form?
3. Any other ideas?

I'll take a look at your blog.
What i'm trying to do is present a list of items...some of which have already been "used" for other purposes and those that are "used" i want to color a different color and make it so that the user cannot select them for use. It's easy to filter them so that they are not viewable but i have a radio button which essentially says "show all records" and "show available records". I'm trying to get the "show all records" to work the way i envision.
The one way i *think* i can do it is to create a handler for the datagrid's "?selected" event and essentially everytime they select something do a datagrid.selecteditems fetch to see what indicees were selected, clear the ones i don't want selected, and write it back to the datagrid.
My next task...which maybe you can point me in the right direction is, how can i highlight these "used" rows? Is this where i need to use an itemrenderer? (I've seen reference to this topic but not yet read about it).

There's no property values for enabled or disabled in SET_ITEM_INSTANCE_PROPERTY.
Instead what you can do is set INSERT_ALLOWED, UPDATE_ALLOWED and NAVIGABLE to FALSE which basically what a disabled item behaves like.

Can't find the table when creating the form application

I have created a new table named lp_cschedule under a user named
lptrain in users tablespace.
I want to create a form application to view this table. However,
I can find this table in the list.

Perhabs, the application's owner does not have the previleges on
the table you have mentioned. Follows the citation of the Forms
(from tables or views) wizard help:
Tables, views, and synonyms in the application schema where you
have SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE privileges.
Tables, views, and synonyms where SELECT has been granted to
public users.
You automatically have SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE
privileges on a table or view if it is owned by an application
schema where you have Edit or higher access privileges.
You can check the owner (=schema) of the application from the
Navigator clicking on the Edit action link against your
application.

Can one make a template with live links?

I have a simple .htm file with 5 links going out, created with image map tool.
I'm going to create 80 similar pages, but different names, titles etc.
Is there a way to have a template with live links retained? (inserting a new jpeg image map each time)
Currently, I'm dragging in the big jpeg and re-creating the squares on it, and corresponding links out.
I don't imagine a template is possible for this, but it's good to ask. thanks.

I'm still not sure I understand what you need. Sounds like the image map is the same for all the pages, but the image itself is different, although the images are the same size on each page. Is that it?
In that case, you could do this in a number of ways, but the best might be -
Make the page have a transparent PNG/GIF image the same size as the map that has the 5 mapped areas defined on it. Make the container for that image have a CSS BACKGROUND image that is the actual map. Specify this CSS background image's path in an embedded stylesheet in the editable region of the head of the page.
With this as the template, all you need to do on each page is to respecify the background image - since the embedded stylesheet is in an editable region that's do-able. In other words the TEMPLATE would be -

The map image can, itself, be in an uneditable region of the page....

Can we make table type layout created by af.query (af.panelformlayout)

in Jdev 11g by default search results are displayed in form type when we create query, is there any way we can make it table type so that i can see more than one record.

can you be more specific? If you mean af:query where you want to define search criteria and see the result in table, you can create view criteria for view object in query tab and drag&drop this from data control palette as named criteria to .jspx as query with table

Where can I find ID templates to create a catalog? (in a hurry :)

I just got InDesign. I am looking for a catalog template that I can upload and drag/drop my photos into and change the text/pricing. Do such catalog templates exist? Just looking for something photo heavy with room for product explanation/pricing.
Where would I find the largest selection InDesign Catalog templates? Are any free?
I will ultimately save this as a pdf and upload it to Issuu to be used as an online flip book.

Catalogs are generally pretty complex undertakings, but perhaps what you need is not. I doubt you'll find much, but the best bet would be to google for InDesign Template catalog or InDesign Template product sheet.

How can I make a website I created in dreamweaver adjust according to the zoom?

Ok so I made a website and its fine but at the top I put an image of my logo and the name of my company (combined into 1 picture). And in this picture, whenever I change the zoom in my web browser or look at it from a computer with a different resolution, it changes size in a way that is disproportional with the content of the site. The website is http://hes.us.com On dreamweaver I made the picture size even with the content of the site but on the web browser it changes wierd. Any help I can get would be great. And if possible, give detail because i'm a beginner in web design. Like if you give me code, where would I put the code? Details like that. Thanks

Resolution or zoom changes have no effect at all on the rendering of your page or its contents. A given image/page will look identical on any resolution as long as you keep the browser viewport width the same pixel size.
