Can I restore the previous OS - the new interface is very difficult to see and use!
Hello, I updated my iPhone operating system to 7.0.2 and now find my phone virtually unusable because of the ridiculous white/grey/red interface - I can hardly see it!
My iPhone has been invaluable to me, but if I can't sort out the interface issue I'll have to use a different product.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to switch back to the old color scheme for the keypad? After upgrading to ios 6, the keypad switched to a black-on-white color scheme. I have a severe visual impairment and found the previous white-on-black color scheme much easier to see and use.
The inverted colors option doesn’t make things look all that better. My dad, who does not have any serious vision problems, has put off upgrading his iphone because of the color scheme changes.I have exactly the same concern. It seems it would be a simple fix for Apple to allow users to turn off the camera (and even the mic) while keeping FaceTime open -- especially now that it turns out FaceTime must remain open in order to send and receive iPhone calls on a Mac.
I like to think this new functionality of FaceTime will be baked into a future release of Yosemite, as the current setup has that not-quite-finished feel of a work in progress. In the meantime, there's nothing like a little piece of Post-It stuck over the camera to keep the NSA from watching your face as you type a post to the Apple Support Communities. -
Some months ago I changed my email address and so my appleID. Everything worked fine, but last week my ipad broke and when I tried to restore my icloud backup in my new ipad it does not work: it asks me for the password of the OLD appleID (it doesnt work); and in icloud configuration page the field for appleid is colored grey so I can not change it.

I know it is not something you want to hear, but there are suppose to be ways around it and usually they work, but not right now. I suspect that is consequences of Apple getting their servers ready for ios7. Normally in your situation - you should be able to get all your stuff back, but apps, and then you can sync those or download from icloud. But lately (last week) it does not seem to work normal way.

hello, can you go to the firefox ''menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information'', click on ''profile folder/show folder'' and close all firefox windows afterwards. a windows explorer window should open up - in there create a backup of all files starting with '''sessionstore'''. then inspect them and see if their modified date would match the session you're trying to restore, in which case you might paste the content of the file into a site like https://firefox-session-restore.herokuapp.com/

You can't merge the backups, you'll have to delete the backup of your old phone. If it says it's currently in use when you try, that will normally clear up on its own but may take 3-5 days to do so. Give it a few days and try deleting the old backup again.
In the meantime, you can create a manual backup of your new phone on your computer by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTuens, going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and clicking Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then you'll be safe until you can start backup up to iCloud again. -

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw. -

What version of iPhoto do you have? If you're on 10.5 then you're not running the latest iPhoto

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

Some facts to consider before replying:
1. I do not have the ITL file, so that solution is out.
2. My ipod was restored so NO ratings there either.
3. So far I have only seen programs to use BEFORE losing your itunes library. IF YOU KNOW a third party's program can help me AFTER THE FACT then tell me about it.
4. I HAVE searched these forums for previous threads. (a) searching engine needs big help and (b) among the 2 dozen finds, no solution for "only XML" found. If you got THAT threads url, post it!
So, using an old library.xml file, is there a way to get this info into itunes.

1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.
That should do it. -

Previous version of what ? If you mean iOS then downgrading it is not supported.
If you mean a particular app then have got the previous version of it anywhere ? If you have then you can delete the current version of it from your iPhone and computer's iTunes, then add the old version to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library and then sync it to your iPhone. -
Having a bad day my iTunes library got corrupted and my back up disk has failed how can I restore my purchases from the iTunes store? When I try it tells me the pruchases have already been downloaded to this computer.
Does your purchased rmusic appears under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) ? If they do and you don't have the cloud symbol against them so as to re-download them, then do you still have the entries for them in your library i.e. where you would normally click on them to play them ? If you do then try deleting them from there (iTunes will be seeing them and assuming that you still have them somewhere) and they should then get the cloud symbol for re-downloading in the Purchased link.

Mac OS no longer available after trying to remove Windows on Bootcamp. How can I restore Mac OS without the Mac HDD in options?
So what I did was, I had bought my iMac from a shop and asked them to do bootcamp for me. However, they installed 32 bit instead of 64. My fault, I did not make my self clear about it. So after it has been delivered to my house, I realized that I wanted the 64 bit. I tried to remove windows on bootcamp but honestly, I have not experienced this before. So I failed. I believe, I did something wrong.
So I opened the iMac and it keeps asking me to go to windows. Windows OS also corrupted.
I tried the Option Key but the only option is Windows 7 only. So using a different keyboard, I press option and it only shows Windows HDD and the Mac HDD has gone.
