Can I return opened Beats - Solo 2 On-Ear Headphones for a full refund?

Hello
I had my birthday yesterday and was gifted Beats by Dre headphones by my brother.
I tried them on, as my brother said they sounded amazing, but when I put them on, I did not like them as much.
So I want to get another item that Best Buy does not sell.
Would I be allowed to get a full refund if I return these to the store?
I do not want an exchange, since the other headphones I want are not sold by bestbuy.
These are in great condition, only used once to test them, but does not have the plastic coating over the box since I opened it.
Let me know if I can get a full refund.
Thanks

Greetings Sharry95, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,
From the looks of it, poprex911 was able to help answer your questions.  You would have within 15 days from when the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones were purchased to process a return or exchange, and the form of payment that was used to purchase the headphones would determine how the return is processed.  If a credit card was used, then a refund would be issued to that credit card.  Otherwise, you would be issued store credit.
I would encourage you to go up to your local Best Buy store with the headphones and receipt to see what the can do to further assist.  If you do not have a copy of the receipt, then the store can search for it using the original purchaser's name and phone #.  You would need to speak with the original purchaser about obtaining a copy of the receipt if you do not have one and the store cannot find it in the register.  Let us know if you have any other questions.
Return & Exchange Promise
Thank you for connecting with us, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

First, there are plenty "Fake" Beats headphones and earphones, they are almost looked the same with the original, but the sound qualities are basically poor.
Beats is good for people who likes strong bass.
Recently, I am in love with the new Apple earpods, they perform good, and particular with an app. called "Dirac" lite.
This is a great review for most of the top quality headphones and earphones

I have no idea if you can do anything with it in the UK. All you can do is ask for help. Just be prepared for the possibility that they can do nothing for you because the device was purchased in the US.
You may have to contact the store from which you purchased the device in the US to see if you can send it back to them in exchange for the Mini. This assumes you are within the 14 day window and they will accept it without all the expected packaging.
Beyond that I don't think anyone here can tell you with any certainty what you can do under the given circumstances. All you can do is ask. The worst that can happen is everyone says, "No."

  • Can I return my MacBook Air for a full refund

I bought a MacBook Air on the 10th of December and I am disappointed about its lack of power especially as I was going to buy a MacBook Pro but I was advised at the apple store to get a MacBook Air as they thought it would suit my needs better. Will I be able to take the laptop back and get a full refund and use the money towards a MacBook Pro?

No, the Apple store only has a 14 day return policy.

  • Can i return my ipod touch and get my money back

can i return my ipod touch and get my money back?

    Maybe:
If you want to return an item, you can ship the item back to Apple, or bring it to any U.S. Apple Store for a full refund. For eligible Mac, iPad, iPod, and third-party products, you have up to 14 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return.
Items ineligible for a return include:
    Opened memory
    Opened software*
    Electronic Software Downloads
Software Up-to-Date Program Products (software upgrades)
    Apple Gift Cards
Apple Gift Packaging (origami style gift box with ribbon and greeting card)
Apple Developer Connection Products (Membership and Technical Support)
    * You may return software after rejecting the licensing terms, provided the software is not installed on a computer. However, software that contains a printed software license may not be returned if the seal or sticker on the software media packaging is broken.

  • Dissatisfied...can I return my nano?

    Hi everyone,
I bought an iPod nano a little while back but it seemed to be having problems with the battery. I sent mine in for repairs and got a replacement. The replacement actually has the same problem too and I don't want the nano anymore. There's no point in giving it in for repairs because another replacement will probably have the same problem.
I am still within one year of purchase so therefore my warranty should apply right? Can I return my nano to Apple for a full refund? I was looking all over the Apple website but could not find a service where I could return my iPod instead of repairing it.

Honestly, the nano is a great player for kids. I assume you bought the new 2nd generation nanos. The problem is, like most new released products the people that buy them in the initial release months tend to be the ones that deal with the bugs that will mostly likely exist. At this time you get the double whammy of a new/upgrade product release AND a new iTunes...double the opportunity for bugs that us early purchasers get the "joy" of experiencing. Like the poster before me mentioned, it might be a good idea to post in another thread or start a new one that specifically explains the problem. There could be a fix that one of the many regulars on here can provide you that would make it so that your kids can truly enjoy their new players. If you are not really interested in that avenue though then I would say that any replacement (I assume you mean a player made by another company) that you choose for your kids should be one that is a flash player (not a hard drive) as it can handle the active lives of kids. Sorry, I can't suggest any brands because I am a generally happy iPod owner for several years and don't know much about other players through personal use. I know other people that have used other brands and there is the even mix of unhappy and happy people....just like with any product.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

  • Can i return my macbook pro after 5 months

can i return my macbook pro after 5 months

If you bought it direct from Apple, you have 14 days to return it for a full refund or toward the purchase of a different model.
After that time, if it is broken it can be repaired. If it does not suit your needs and cannot be upgraded to suit your needs, you recourse is to convert it to CASH by selling it, and apply the cash toward a computer that better suits your needs.

  • Beats solo right speaker failure

I purchased two Beats Solo from an authorized retailer for Christmas 2014 for my teenagers.  The right side speaker in the headphones stopped playing any sound in April 2015.  We tried all the suggested fixes such as plugging into a different device, making sure the cables are plugged in correctly, balance config., buying a replacement cable and none of them work.  3 weeks later, the second pair developed the same problem with the right speaker.    Is this a flaw with this product?  At this price I would have expected them to be problem free for more than 4-5 months.  I am very disappointed.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions or if this is to be expected.  Thanks.

Apple does not provide service support for the headsets since they are not Apple-branded.
Best advice is to contact the manufacturer for service support.

  • App can't be opened??

I am trying to open a .psd file with Pixelmator (which I know it can do) yet it tells me that "The application can't be opened. -35" See the pic below for a pic of the pop-up I get. How can I fix this behavior? What might be the cause of it?

    Thanks friends.
    Jim

Are you opening the file with Pixelmator or are you double-clicking the file?
If double-clicking, are you sure the correct application is associated with
    the file?
