Can I sync TV Shows from my Library to the 6th Gen Nano??
Just got the 6th Gen Nano for my daughter for xmas, went to load several TV Shows currently in my library (and just also downloaded an entire season of a show), that is giving me the message that they won't play on this nano. Am I doing something wrong?? Does this new Nano not play TV Shows or video??
It doesn't play video.

My pc does not meet the minimum operating system requirements for the 6th gen nano. Is there anything I can do to make it work on windows XP? This was sent to me from Apple after my previous Nano was recalled.
I think you've anwsered your own question. If it does'nt meet the minimum spec it won't work.

Same as the current Ipod Video or "Classic" there is an option under settings to toggle between original aspect ratio or Full Screen.

Can the voiceover utility on the 6th gen Nano be accessed with headphones other than the Apple earphones?
No I have tried and they don't also my iPod touch 2nd generation doesn't work with voice control unless it has apple earbuds plugged in. I guess apple doesn't want 3rd party brads interfering with their company. Thanks please like

I can't sync individual songs from my library.
My first gen Nano was replaced, but I can't seem to sync ONLY individual songs from my library to the new Nano. Has something changed?
Did you enable manage your music and video manually? Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone

My daughter and I each have iTunes libraries on the same computer, how can songs from one library be moved to the other?
So, if she purchased a song from iTunes in her library, I will also have to purchase the same song to add to my library?

Can there be an update for the 6TH Gen nano to have a calculator?
I think it would be really useful if there was a calculator on the 6th gen nano.

Can the 6th gen nano survive the washing machine?
It was an accident (of course). Does anyone know if it will come back to life?
not likely but there's a small (~5%) chance it will survive.

I can't sync tv shows from iTunes to my iPod Touch (4th gen). I can't purchase tv shows on the iPod, either. Anyone know what the problem is?
Thanks!Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Are you sure your computer is authorized for this? This is probably your issue.
If you go to the "Advanced" tab on the top in iTunes, is there a "Deauthorize computer..." button or an "Authorize computer..." button? If there's an "authorize computer" link, then that is your issue. Authorize your computer, and you should be able to transfer iTMS purchased songs from iTunes to iPod.
For details, see this Apple article:
About iTMS authorization and deauthorization
I hope this helps you,

If any post helps or solves your issue, please mark it that way accordingly. Thank you for helping the boards! -
So I recently synced a few folders from my PC to my iPad 1 and there was a few photos I did not want on my iPad, so when I tapped the photo, the trash button wasn't there. I looked up why that was happening and discovered it was because synced photos can't be deleted from the photo library. So I ask my question, how can I sync specific photos from folders instead of the whole folder? from iTunes to my iPad. If there is not a way for me to sync specific photos from folders, how can I delete the photos I don't want from my iPad?
As King_Penguin has already explained, this isn't possible with the stock Photos app.
As far as photo syncing is concerned, I also recommend PhotoSync, which is an excellent photo (and video!) synchronization tool, should you want to stick with the stock Photos app on the iPad. Should you want something better (Photos is a pretty limited app without sorting, EXIF displaying etc. capabilities and with HUGE storage usage), you'll need to take a look at third-party apps. I too recommend Photo Manager Pro, it's IMHO the best tool. There's a complete roundup of image viewers for iOS at http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/all-one-photo-viewer-roundup-70-price-drop-bes t-image-viewer ; you might want to read it. -
HT1977 why i can't sync my app from library to my device?
why i can't sync my app from library to my device? i just see the app will install but not install in my device. can anyone show me how to install apps in newest Itunes?
When you reinstalled iTunes, did you remove and reinstall by the exact steps listed here? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
You will need to do it that way. That would be the only thing I can think of that would be stopping the transfer of purchases. If you go into Task Manager and Services, is the Apple Mobile Device Service running? If you go into Device manager when the phone is connected, do you see the Apple Device Driver listed under USB devices? Have you tried disconnecting the phone and then rebooting the computer, then doing a reset on the phone holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone reboots and the computer reboots, connect them again? -
My old computer crashed and I have a new computer. How can I save my music from my IPod to the new computer since it isn't in my Library. I don't want to sync and lose music.
Then you will need to search for a 3rd party program to transfer content

One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola and iDump andiPodRobot.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

I can't sync my iPod to entire library
My husband had the first iPod. We shared an email address. When he died, I gave his iPod away. I had been able to sync mine early on, but now I can't add new content or sync the content of the main library. I'm still using the old email account. My computer recognizes my iPod, but my iTunes account shows two separate playlists. The main one with new podcasts won't sync. I can't figure out how to add new content to the playlist for my iPod. I can play all the content on the computer. How can I change settings so I can use the entire library?
The setting for syncing the entire music library is on the iPod's Music settings screen. If your entire iTunes music library can fit on the iPod, you can use it.
Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see its "management" screen. I don't know if you have the latest iTunes (version 12) installed, or if it's an earlier version. If 12, there is a sidebar (along left side of window) on the iPod's screen. In the sidebar, under Settings, click Music. If it's an earlier version, there is a bar of buttons starting with Summary. Click Music next to Summary. That is the iPod's Music settings screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to your iPod.
Near the top, there is a box for Sync Music. Check that box to enable automatic syncing, if it's not already checked. NOTE: If that box is not already checked, the iPod is currently set to manually manage content. If you change to automatic syncing (by checking that box), content on the iPod will be replace by content from your iTunes library. Any songs on the iPod now that are not in your current iTunes library will be lost.
Below that setting, there are two options for how to sync. To sync your entire iTunes music library to the iPod, choose the option to sync Entire music library. When you click Apply, iTunes syncs your entire music library to the iPod. Going forward, changes to your iTunes music library are synced automatically to the iPod, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync if already connected).
If your entire iTunes library is too large to fit on the iPod, you can use the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Please reply back to get more info... or about using the manual method to load content on the iPod. -
How can I sync my songs from my computer into i schuffle?
How can I sync my songs from my computer into i schuffle? After I have pressed Sync, the iTunes screen showed completed sync but nothing change in the i-Schuflle.
Further the i Schuffle player has a voice saying I have to sync. But I did.
Can anyone help? You probably need to set up (or update) automatic syncing. If there is nothing new to sync, based on your sync settings in iTunes, the syncing process just starts and stops in a few seconds.
Find the shuffle in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES, and select it there. If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is not visible, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
With the shuffle selected in iTunes, there is a bar of buttons near the top, starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This is the shuffle's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the shuffle.
Check the box for Sync Music. You can choose to sync Entire music library, if your iTunes music library is small and fits on the shuffle. With this setting, your entire iTunes music library syncs to the shuffle, and new songs get synced automatically. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Then, select (checkmark) the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres you want on the shuffle from the lists below. If you want newly added songs to sync to the shuffle, they must be part of your selection. For example, you can add them to a playlist that you have selected for syncing to the shuffle.
When you click Apply, the songs from your selection sync to the shuffle. Going forward, changes to your iTunes library (based on your settings on the shuffle's Music screen) sync automatically to the shuffle, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync).
This document has more general information about ways to load content on a shuffle.
