  • Can not add videos to my ipad 2

I have a the app called Telestrator, I'm trying to add sports videos to teach with, I can not add them to my ipad via iPhoto or iTunes, I have tried several videos conversions but keep getting the "the video is not playable on this iPad"

    Hello solidroq,
This can be worked around by creating a version of the video that is compatible with your iPod.
Select a video and choose File > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV Version.
iTunes: Videos may be unable to sync to iPhone, iPad, or iPod

  • Can not add movie to itune

    Hi,
I just set up new itunes for ipod touch but i just can not add movie file (mp4) to library in itunes. Please help! Thanks so much!

Make sure you're looking for it in the Movies or TV Shows libraries, or do a search for it by name.
Did you check if the format is compatible with iTunes (QuickTime plays more formats if you have add-ons)?
"but when I open that file with itunes"
This statement confuses me as your point 1/ says you can't find it in iTunes.

  • Can't add videos to itunes

i cant seem to add videos to itunes, none of them are added unless they are converted to mpeg4 format, and even when they are converted to mpeg4 format (i used xilosoft ipod video converter) only a few videos are added.
out of 24 videos that i converted, when i tried adding them by directory, only 4 of them were added.
    ideas?
    i use itunes 6

i tried shortening the title names, no go, only the files that could be added before were added again.
all my files are mp4, i'll try using theo ne at jodix.com though
also, they wont be added to my itunes at all, forget trying to upload thme to my ipod

  • How can I add videos to itunes?

I've been trying to add video files to itunes, either through drag and drop or adding from the file menu, but each time the video does not come up in itunes?

Thanks for the post. This was for downloaded youtube videos, I downloaded with Net Video Hunter and they were VLC files, so I guess not itunes supported. How can you download youtube files as MP4 files?

  • I can't add videos to itunes in windows xp & windows 7

I'm using windows 7, I cant add the vdeos to the library of tje itunes. There isn't any problems wtih video formats, 'cos this videos i had in my iphone 4s before I used windows xp. First time when I used windows XP i can add videos, but then i can't add

There are settings that you can set when the ipod is connected to itunes that you can set on how the tv shows and movies load onto the ipod.
    1. Open itunes and connect the ipod to the computer.
    2. Find one of the tv shows that are not moving over to the ipod and double click on it to play it. If the computer is not authorized to play the content, a window will open for you to put in your account name and password to authorize the computer.
if your ipod is set to automatically sync with itunes, follow these steps
    3. once the video or movie plays on the computer. Click on the ipod on the left hand side of itunes so that you see a summary page on the right side of itunes.
    4. at the top of the summary page, you will see a row of tabbs, click ont he tv shows tab.
    5. then select how you want the tv shows to load onto the ipod.
If your ipod is set to manually manage
    3. drag and drop the tv shows or movies onto the ipod on the left side bar of itunes.

  • Can Not View Videos on iTunes!!

Whenever I click preview video on the iTunes store,
the preview box doesn't show the video.
Instead it shows purple, brown & green fuzz.
It's the same when trying to watch a video I have purchased.
I don't know how to fix this?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks (:

Videodora has some sound issues, I would look for another conversion program. Here try this one it is free and I really like it and have had not sound or video problems. You can get it here http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html

  • Can't add video to iTunes

I am new to iTunes, got an iPod expressly for having video. Using the "Add file to Library" method doesn't seem to do anything; I look for the title on both the Music and Video lists, and it's not there. I get no error messages. Is there a format requirement? Didn't work for .mpg, .avi, or .wmv. "Help" is no help, doesn't even specifically mention video. I am lost and frustrated. Anybody else with this problem who solved it? Thanks!

Most of the videos I add to iTunes go into the Movies folder. If you then change the categorisation tab from Movie to Music Video they will show under the music playlist rather than Movies.

  • Can't add video to new itunes

Hi, hope someone here can help me because im getting kind of fustrating by not been able to add videos on the new itues. I've got the new video i want to add to the library its on "MP4" format, but for some reason when i go to to the "Add File to Library" and look for my file i want to add, the video does not appear on my library, just wondering anyone had this problem before and can tell me how to fix it, or if theres a way to get your videos to the library on the new itunes!..please help!

Reason one: if you have not installed quicktime, the new iTunes will refuse to import video
Solution: install QuickTime player as well as reinstall iTunes.
Reason two: the video format or codec, or specifacation does not meet the iTunes 11 demand
Solution: convert video like mp4, m4v, mov, avi, wmv, mkv, flv to iTunes supported one, detailed guide atSolution on Can't Add Videos to iTunes 11
Move video from Home videos to Movies in itunes
Go to the particular movie in "Home Videos" section, on the movie, right click the mouse (for Windows users) or press Ctrl and click the mouse (for Mac users) to open the context menu, in the context menu, click on "Get info", the "Get info" window will pop up, switch to "Options" section, click the "Media Kind" drop down list to select Movie, finally click "OK" button, your movie will automatically moved to "Movies" section.

  • How can i add videos, movies and tv shows episodes to my ipod nano?I want to know whether i can directly add them through my pc or not without downloading them from i tunes store?

how can i add videos, movies and tv shows episodes to my ipod nano?I want to know whether i can directly add them through my pc or not without downloading them from i tunes store?

Yes, you can add your own videos to iTunes, then sync them to your nano, subject to supported max resolution limit and file type.  The specs for the 7th gen nano says (I don't know which nano model you have), Video Format Support
"H.264 video: 720 by 576 pixels, 30 frames per second; Baseline, Main, and High-Profile level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 256 Kbps; 48kHz; stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 Mbps, 720 by 576 pixels, 30 frames per second; Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 256 Kbps; 48kHz; stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats"
    http://www.apple.com/ipod-nano/specs.html
(earlier nanos have lower max resolution limits)
So, "HD" video is too high resolution, so iTunes will not sync such videos to the iPod (although they play in iTunes).  If you are asking how to set up iTunes to sync videos in general (regardless of source), please post back.

  • HT1386 iPhone won't sync with iTunes. It says iTunes can not add songs to iPhone because no songs in iTunes library can be copied to iPhone. Help!!!! What should I do

iPhone won't sync with iTunes and It says iTunes can not add songs to iPhone because no songs in iTunes library can be copied to iPhone. Help!!!! What should I do. I tried everything!
I need to add my music to my iPhone from iTunes but its not working!

First off try and go into your IPhone manually through My Computer and cut photos or anything you can through the device to be able to free space up so that you can continue to do what you want to do with ITunes. This way you will be able to create a backup or do what you have to do to manage your information, photos and texts on your device a little better.
