Can not use SSH after renaming the device - 3640 Router

Question

Used SSH to change the device name, wrote the config and logged out of the box. When I attempted to use SSH to get back into the box, it would not connect. I removed the old keys and I attempted to create a new key, but I keep recieving this error message "Signature Creation Failed Status -1" Any suggestions?

You are running into Bug ID CSCsa83601.
Workaround:
Set the key pair name to the key name, as shown in the "show crypto key mypubkey rsa".
ip ssh rsa keypair-name
Example:
test#show crypto key mypubkey rsa

Key name: test.example.invalid
Usage: General Purpose Key
Key is not exportable.
