Can RG be passed with RUN_PRODUCT in Forms Server?

Does anyone know if the RUN_PRODUCT command can pass a record
group from Forms to Reports on the Forms/Reports server like it
can in the Runtime version?
I have a program that builds a group of records in Forms and
then creates a report from that group when the user selects
print. Can I make it generate them a .PDF file in the Forms
server version?
Has anyone set this up?

You have to make sure every step in MOS Document ID 726414.1 that is applicable to your E-Business Suite 12.1.x release is performed. Enabling ASADMIN is just one of the steps. In spite of following all the steps in this Document you continue to get the error when clicking "Generate WSDL", please log a Service Request with Oracle Support.I will check all steps again. Can Test Custom Jars with 6i Run Form - Client/Server?

I want to test custom Jar files with Forms 6i from my desktop, but I cannot get the Run Form->Web to work. Is it possible for the run time to load the just jars for PJC when you do Run Form -> Client/Server? So far, when I have done this, it does not execute any PJC. Any ideas, tips?

Can someone help me with getting a form from read-only to editable

I have an e-mail button to email my form to the users and it puts the form into a READONLY status, how do I get the fields to be editable again? For example, I have a form that a user is going to fill out, then email to others. Once the pdf file is attached to the email, and she sends the document, I want her to be able to use this same form tomorrow to fill out again. Is there any way to do this? I am using Adobe Livecycle Designer 8.0. Any help would be greatly appreaciated!!

Can't see volumes with Mac os x server install

I'm having a problem installing MAC OS X Server on a RAIDed MAC PRO (3 drives @ RAID 5: Here are the steps that I have done so far with no luck: created a RAID level 5 with RAID utility from CLIENT OS install cd that came with mac pro. Created one giant volume with the entire contents of disk space on the RAID with the CLIENT OS install cd/RAID utility also. Rebooted, the MAC PRO, ejected the CLIENT OS cd, inserted MAC OS X server install CD. When I get to the screen where I choose my volume to install the OS on, I can't see any volumes. I was told by Apple and CDW (reseller) to go to disk utility and do an ERASE on the volumes, that should format the drive and should be seen by the OS X Server install. It didn't work. It's interesting that I can install the normal client OS after creating my RAID, Volumes, etc... But the OS X Server install DVD doesn't see the volumes during the install process, OR using disk utility from the OSX server install disk, but disk utility on the MAC OS X client CD sees it fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does Apple support their RAID card in Mac Pro using Server? or does Server need to be updated? Minimum requirements for Mac Pro RAID card is 10.4.10.
You could try the cheat method: install everything on a single drive and clone it and see if it works.
From a discussion yesterday or Monday, only Apple drivers are supported on the Mac Pro (firmware?) and not 3rd party retail drives (a bummer) so you've got nearly $2000.

How can I share calendars with groups on Yosemite Server?

I've set up the calendar server in Yosemite and can individually invite users to join the calendar. However, I need to add multiple users to each calendar - I've created a group with the users in but when I add the name of the group it just adds one member at a time.

URGENT : USESDI=YES WITH RUN_PRODUCT

I have a window that is a transactions monitor, what I do is to run a hevy process stored in the database and the window's purpose is to display the process progress, well I Have a MDI application which launches the process and the monitor form, my problem is that I do not want to show the monitor's MDI frame window and i cannot use USESDI parameter because I have to pass parameters to it (Instead of that I use RUN_PRODUCT command)
?Do you have any idea of how can I use SDI with RUN_PRODUCT? (I do not use open_form or call_form because the process and the monitor have to run simultaneously)

I would recommend that you do not use RUN_PRODUCT with a target of FORM at all - We have phased that useage out in the 9i release.
It might be better to simply use a call to the O/S to start the separate session - so on Windows use DDE.APP_BEGIN (this is asynchronous) and on UNIX use Host but start a background process that in turn starts the Forms session so again it is Async.
Normal HOST() would be blocking of course so you can't use that.

Can't see the icons on Forms Server

I can't see the icons on the Forms Server, and I have translated
all Icons to Gifs.
I need re-compile the forms to apply this changes?
Where I have put the icons? (The correct path on the Alias of

I just got my Apache web server running and added the images
into a folder in the ORACLE_HOME\Apache\Apache folder. Then in
the httpd.conf file look for where to add an Alias add in your
Reports virtual path along with the directory and stop and start
the apache web server then open the forms. Good luck

I deployed my.fmx on web, but I can't read some of text item prompts,wherease,the same font read it correct in another texts.
All fonts in my .fmx is Arial font. NLS_LANG is American_America.AR8MSWIN1256.
I have configured font name in Registry.dat file and have no effect.
Please tell me how to solve this problem.

How Cartridge works in OAS/form server

I am deploying forms to the web.
Since the base HTML file for cartridge implementation is the
same as that for non-cartridge implementation, I really can not
figure out how the OAS/form server knows if using Cartridge or
non-cartridge implementation. (ie: Do I need call the
Cartridge in my base HTML?)

When we use products on run time we are using data_parameter for passing record Groups to reports via run_product but now we have to use application server and reports server for same reports.
We met with <FRM-41214 Unable to run reports> for passing DATA_PARAMETER to reports server when used RUN_REPORTS_OBJECT.
How can we pass record Group from Forms with DATA_PARAMETER to Reports Server using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT?

Can I build a interactive log-in form with Edge and Export Raw code to edit?

Hey Everyone,
I love adobe edge, but I'm still getting used to it. It's very easy to use, but I ran into an issue. I am redesigning a webpage for a client and need to build a log-in page and re-design the site. The site is a Dashboard that will be on an ipad and computer. What I need to do is take my design and design a template for them to use. They require HTML4 and up with some coding (not a fan of coding, I am strictly a designer, and before you guys critize about why I took the job when I don't know coding, it's a side project they are having me do for them while the main design project is being evaluated and I'm on contract so I don't have a choice, still would like to learn how to achieve what I need) but I still want to maintain the animation I have planned for the log in, very simple nothing special. Basically what I want is when you log in and click in the "text" box the background image will go from the clear image to the blur image.
What I've done so far,
I built the log-in page as a test to see if it would work (didn't take long since I saved as a PSD and imporated the files). I've attached an imagw to show a visual of what I am trying to do. The animation works fgreat for what i need, but now I want the box I click in to be writtable inside and work with the animation. I can't seem to figure out how to make the box's I created typable to type in for a "Username" and "Password" in other word interative. I used the boxes provided in edge because they are HTML boxes, but I want them to become text boxes to enter the Username and Password (It doesn't have to be perfect just enough for me to type in to pass off to the programmers). I know you can make edge interative with muse and what not and I was hoping to achieve what I want for them so I can export it and pass it off to the programmers. Is there a way to add this in Edge? If not, I know you can export to Dreamweaver and when I import the file to Dreamweaver I just see a grey box with the file I created (.oma I think) from Edge but not the content unless I "Preview it" in a browser.
So is there a way to build what I want in edge without resorting to dreamweaver? If so and there is code to input can you guys provide step by step on how to put it in the program? And is there a way to export the project so I can pass the RAW code to the programmers to do there thing? Lastly, is there a way to incorporate Jquery mobile to Edge? For the Dashboard can I build the same thing in Edge? Example what will be in there are things like charts, Calendars, Dates, Etc, Etc. If I need to resort to building it in dreamweaver I can provide the code for you guys to alter to change for what I need. Like I said I'm not a big fan of coding and a little stranger to it. I just know the basics and the fact I haven't touched dreamweaver since CS4 makes it even harder to use. Some tools I like are gone such as AP divs. However i like the new elements you can inject into the program such as the Jquery stuff, but for the simplist things I want to do such as moving them left or right or centering them is a different story.

How can I pass data from a form guide to another form in a business process

How do we pass data from a form guide to another form(not necessarily a guide) without having to open the form. For example we have a small form guide to capture the contract id so we can then get data from contracts table to present to the user in a form. We want the user to open the guide (either Flex guide or form guide) to enter the contract id. Upon submission we want the process to get the contract data and put it into the form that will be opened at the next step by the user without having a user interact with the form to get the data into it. In other words we need the process to get the data and populate a different form than the form guide the contract id was entered in and this new form needs to be opened in the next step by the user.

Firstly, I'm assuming that you have a Forms ES Server if you are rendering a Guide. This could be either version ES1, ES2/2.5 or ES3/ADEP
If you submit the form back to the server, you can populate a second (PDF/XDP) form with the data bound to the same schema/Data Model using Forms ES.
You referred to the next user in the chain - If you are using Process Management, this is very easy, as you define what form is used to render the data in the "Presentation & Data" section of the Assign Task activity

JSP?jsp's are not meant to read such amounts of data. this (= uploading) is a typical task for a specialized servlet. there you have full control over input and output. if you need to, you can still forward to a jsp after processing in the servlet.
How can I pass data from JavaScript to JSP???? i'm not sure what exactly you mean. normally you put it into an url and submit it.
