Can safe, but can't run or install adobe reader?

I can't run or install adobe reader?

You can try using this tool to remove all traces of previous version(s) of Reader:

Then, you may download the offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Need stats on the number of computers that have installed Adobe Reader

Where can I find how many computers have installed Adobe Reader? I've searched but I can't seem to find an answer. I am trying to convince the PM for a project that we don't need an non-PDF version of a PDF file since Reader is almost universally installed. However, I can't find a solid number to report.

You probably won't get one either. Just wild guesses. This isn't something that Adobe would release as fas as I know.
If you want my wild guess, I'd say 95% of the computers in the US have Reader but again, I have no real information to base that number on.

  • I am trying to download and install adobe reader, but it is not working. Everytime I try, I get the download but when I try to install it, it goes somewhere but not on my screen for me to install. If I try to install again, it says only one copy can be in

I am trying to download Adobe Reader, I have Windows 7 on my PC. Every time I get the download, I click on it to install the program, and I get the usual messages but I never get the install message. When I try the download again, I get a message telling me only one copy of the program can go on the computer. When I check the program list, it is not there. I have to restore my computer before I can attempt the download and install again. I have tried this at least 6 times but cannot install Adobe Reader. Please help me out with this. I really like this product and prefer to use it. I had o originally delete the program, due to an update conflict.

  • I'm trying to open files which are telling me to instal Adobe Reader.  Which I did but the agreement which needs to be ticked off so this reader can open doesn't come up.  Please could you be of some assistance.

I'm trying to open files which are telling me to instal Adobe Reader.  Which I did but the agreement which needs to be ticked off so this reader can open doesn't come up.  Please could you be of some assistance.

Select one of the files, Choose GetInfo from the Finder's File menu, look for the field named "Open With", and choose Preview from the adjacent menu. Accept that ALL such files will Open with Preview, and your major problems should be solved.
Occasionally, a particularly complex .pdf file or one that needs to be modified and re-written will not work quite right with Preview, but such issues are rare.

  • My Apple ID password don't work when I try to install Adobe Reader.  I did a reset on my password but still have the same results.  What can I do from here?

When trying to install Adobe Reader, I am being prompted for my password.  The ID was wrong so I changed to to the correct one but the password did not work.  I went on the Apple site to reset my password and tried again but to no avail.  What can I do to install Adobe?

Mac's Safari browser supports PDF documents
Adobe Reader is not good at security issues, if you can, avoid using/downloading it.
    PDF
Safari also includes built-in support for viewing PDF files. When you follow a link to a PDF in Safari, such as a user guide, it's displayed in the Safari window without having to open another app. Safari's built-in find and zoom features work with PDFs too.

You should make sure you do a complete uninstall of the flash player first and then install the latest FP14 version from this link - Use http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx.dm g

  • Can't install Adobe Reader for Android on my Tablet

    Hi everyone,
I purchased lately a Binatone HomeSurf Tablet running on Android. I wanted to install Adobe Reader on it. I downloaded it all right, but when I wanted to install it on the Tablet, I got the message "impossible to install Adobe Reader on this phone"
Is there anything I can do to make Adobe Reader run on my tablet ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eric, from Belgium...

You are lucky you can download it. My problem with my C
ruzMicro T301 Tablet PC running Android 2.2 is that
Adobe's website doesn't appear to ackowledge my device at all. I cannot download apps from adobe's website, I have tried to download it to my computer then unpack it to my tablet via a USB hookup that was successfull however it wouldn't install and was missing the .apk file wich is needed to run the program. I have looked at several .pdf readers and found none that will install on my tablet including this one so i am wondering what the deal is? How hard is it to make a universal android .pdf reader?

  • Can I install Adobe Reader to a drive other than the C: drive?

Can I install Adobe Reader to a drive other than the C: drive?

    Hello there,
Welcome to Adobe Community. Yes it can be installed on a different drive. Though some of the files installed by it will still be installed on C: drive.
When you run the installer, use 'Change destination folder' at the bottom of the panel
If you already have Adobe Reader installed on the C: drive, you must uninstall it before installing a new version on a different location.
    Thanks!

  • Can't install Adobe Reader 11

Once I have finished downloading the .exe file for Adobe Reader 11, an error message pops up saying the .exe file is not a vaild Win32 application. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I uninstalled a version of Adobe Reader 10 because it was unable to open perfectly good .pdf files, saying the files were corrupted. Any ideas on how I can install Adobe Reader 11? It's difficult not having it!

Some more information: I downloaded both the small setup.exe file and the full-size reader installation file (from the enterprise site) on a different computer. Using the setup.exe file, I was able to successfully install Adobe Reader 11 on the other computer. I copied both of these files to a flash drive and tried to install them on the laptop. Neither worked. When I double-click on the setup.exe file, nothing happens. When I double-click on the full-size file, I get an error message saying there was an error running scripts, and did I want to continue running scripts on the page. Once that screen disappears, the program is not installed and the installation file disappears from the flash drive. Does anyone out there have any idea what is going on?

  • How can I install Adobe Reader on my F: drive (Windows XP)

I have an old computer with a limited C: drive.  My F: drive is much larger.  I want to install Adobe Reader on my F: drive.  How can I do this.?

Assuming that you want to install the English version of Adobe Reader 9.3, download this installer
    http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/enu/AdbeRdr930_en_US.msi
Run it, and once the installer is initialized, you will be presented with this panel
Click 'Change Destination Folder...' and you can specify exactly where you want it to install.
