Can't access SQLJ code inside EJB

I am able to create EJB , call functions.
Unfortunately i get an error
Profile not found ,
SQL state 46130.
Any idea what is wrong ?
null

I guess i know your problem.
After you have deployed, perhaps you have not loaded the SQLJ related SER files into the JServer. So, this is what you do from command line in the alient.
loadjava USERNAME/PASSWORD@SID -resolve myPackage\*.ser
Now run your EJB client code.
Enjoy.

  • Can I access a label inside of an MC and then go back to the main time line

    Here is my current set up.
    I have a labeled section on main time line which has icons of 12 different videos. Each icon acts as a button and brings a user to a labeled section with a FLV Video Playback component impemented to play the corresponding video. These labeled sections are located on the main time.
    This methog makes my main time line very long. Is there a way to make an additional MC which will hold all the video buttons and then have this MC separated into labeled sections.
    In other words can I access a label inside of an MC and then go back to the main time line?
    My present code for accessing the label located on the main timeline is:
    HowTo_maininfo_mc.theArrangement_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, theArrangement_btn_amimated_btnDown);
    function theArrangement_btn_amimated_btnDown(event:MouseEvent):void {
    gotoAndPlay("theArrangement");
    How would it look if my label "theArrangement" would be located inside of an MC?
    Is there any specific code if I want to have a close button located on the label inside of an MC and it needs to fire out to a label located on the main timeline?

    Oh, WOW! It is working perfectly now.
    My mistake was that I was specifiying the var sourceVar:String;
    for every single button. It was not clear to me from the first example that it has to be specified only once.
    I made a small test Flash file and everything works now. It still doesn't work on my big flash file, I guess some other code messes it up and I can' not figure what it is exactly.
    I would like to include the OUTPUT error message in hopes that you can spot right away what a mistake could be:
    VideoError: 1000: Unable to make connection to server or to find FLV on server
              at fl.video::VideoPlayer/stop()
              at fl.video::FLVPlayback/stop()
              at acolyteVideos_fla::mainsite_mc_2/stopF2()[acolyteVideos_fla.mainsite_mc_2::frame484:21]
              at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndPlay()
              at acolyteVideos_fla::mainsite_mc_2/onClick_GoBackToHowTo2()[acolyteVideos_fla.mainsite_mc_2 ::frame484:13]
    If there is no immediate cure for it, I will go through code line by line. Since it is working on the test it must be something wrong with my main file.
    Additiona question (please let me know if I should paste it as a new thread)
    I have similar set up with UILoader. Where different buttons set up to bring a user to individual labeled sections with individual UILoader. Should it be arranged in the same way that it is only one loader and "var sourceVar:String;" code is the one which brings up different content for each button?

  • Can't access HTML code in Eloqua

    I want to enhance the functionality and looks and mobile email template. For that I am trying to access HTML Editor to modify HTML code. How can I edit HTML codes in Eloqua10?

    Hello Hammad,
    When it comes to email mobile templates, the feature that makes them a mobile template is the CSS code that can be accessed by going to the toolbox as demonstrated below:
    What this means to you is the following:
    While you cannot access the full source code of this email -- because it is a templated email and not an html uploaded email, you have two options to customize it:
    1) You can delete ALL the contents that come with the template -- the default image and text, and then add your contents to it.
    2) You can upload an email and use the css code that appears in the screenshot above.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Tarek

  • Can i write Html code inside JSP method???

    hi i am newbie to jsp and servlets. i am working on a project where i have to use same html code for two conditions in jsp. my question is can i write that html code inside any method in jsp?? and then can i call that method within that if and else scope. can anyone help me with this??

    I don't think that does what you think it does.
    <%!
    void renderStateSelect(String default) { %>Creates a method with that signature and an open brace...
    <select name="state"> puts:
    out.println("<select name=\"state\">");
    into the _jspService method
    <%!
    // logic to loop thru states
    %>Puts the loop logic after the brace opening up the method renderStateSelect
    </select>puts
    out.println("</select>");
    in the _jspService method
    <%!
    %>Closes the renderStateSelect method.
    So if I do this:
    <html>
    <body>
    <%!
    void renderStateSelect(String def) { %>
    <select name="state">
    <%!
    // logic to loop thru states
    %>
    </select>
    <%!
    %>
    Hello<br/>
    <% renderStateSelect("none"); %>
    Everybody
    </body>
    </html>The html output is:
    <html>
    <body>
    <select name="state">
    </select>
    Hello<br/>
    Everybody
    </body>
    </html> The 'renderStateSelect method does not render the state select. The _jspService method does, in place where the HTML is written in the JSP file.  As another look, the translated servlet looks like this:
    package org.apache.jsp;
    public final class IsThisOk_jsp extends org.apache.jasper.runtime.HttpJspBase
        implements org.apache.jasper.runtime.JspSourceDependent {
    void renderStateSelect(String def) {
    // logic to loop thru states
      public void _jspService(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
            throws java.io.IOException, ServletException {
        try {
          out.write("<html>\r\n<body>\r\n");
          out.write("<select name=\"state\">\r\n");
          out.write("</select>\r\n");
          out.write(" \r\nHello<br/>\r\n");
    renderStateSelect("none");
          out.write("\r\nEverybody\r\n</body>\r\n</html>\r\n ");
    }See. Any plain HTML code you put outside of the <%! %> tags is converted to out.printlns inside the _jspService method (in place where they occured in the JSP, not where the method you want to do the rendering is called...)
    So unless I completely misunderstood your intent here, this apprach does not work.

  • How can I access t-code SOLAR_LIBRARY (Solution/Application)?

    I have found in multiple places that configuration guides for CRM 2006 are now in Solution Manager.
    I found several documentation in SAP Help that tells you to look into solution manager as follows:
    Choose Solutions/Application -> Basic Configuration -> Configuration Structures -> ...
    What I've learned diggin on internate is that Solutions/Application is a t-code called SOLAR_LIBRARY. When I try to access this t-code in my Solution Manager system I get a message T-code for internal SAP use.
    My question is how can I get access to this configuration guides that are referenced in several places on the SAP Help portal?
    Your help will be greatly appreciated...
    Regards
    Armando

    Hi Amando,
    the transaction Solar_Library is only used SAP-internally. To access configuration guides, you need to launch transaction Solar02, select your project, select the node "Configuration" and the tab "Structure". Via the button "Change Configuration Structure" you can launch the maintenance transaction for configuration structures. Select "Business Process Repository" as source and launch the F4 selection help. You can copy complete configuration structure in your project.
    Best regards,
    Michael

  • Can I place jar files inside ejb-jar.jar?

    Hi,
    I'm reading about the packaging rules for creating an ejb-jar.jar file, and I'm wondering whether it's possible to include a jar file (containing helper classes) inside of the ejb-jar file. A "lib" dir (for containing such helper jars) doesn't seem to be part of the ejb-jar file format.
    The EJB 3 spec has this to say (Ch 20, "Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, Final Release):
    "The ejb-jar file must also contain, either by inclusion or by reference, the class files for all the classes and interfaces that each enterprise bean class and the home interfaces, component interfaces, and/or web service endpoints depend on, except Java EE and J2SE classes. This includes their superclasses and superinterfaces, dependent classes, and the classes and interfaces used as method parameters, results, and exceptions"
    Now, it seems that the root of the the ejb-jar file contains all the classes (in the appropriate Java package layout). But what about including JAR files? The ejb-jar spec seems to have nothing to say about a "lib" dir that can contain jars (as a WAR file can).
    Summary of questions:
    1) Can an ejb-jar file contain a jar file? If so, how/where?
    2) Can the ejb-jar file's META-INF/MANIFEST.MF file contain a reference to a JAR file?
    I'm not considering correct design at the point... I'd just like to know if these 2 scenarios are possible.
    Thank you!
    kamuifx

    Yes, I have an ear file..................
    I have an EAR file; inside the EAR I have a WAR file (web module) and an EJB-jar file (EJB module).......... the EJB need some classes placed in a jar file (a helper .jar or an util .jar)...........
    my question is: How can I use the classes of the .jar files in te EJB??????

  • Can we write scriplet code inside c:forEach /c:forEach

    Hi
    I am having one <c:forEach> tag
    As Given below
    <c:forEach var="holiday" items="${state.holidays}" varStatus="current">
       <tr>
          <td>${holiday.name}</td>
          <td>${holiday.date}</td>
       </tr>
    </c:forEach>now I want to apply SimpleDateFormater on ${holiday.date} before showing it on jsp.
    so
    I need to perform following operation
    SimpleDateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy" );
    String parsedDate = df.parse(holiday.date);
    So for that code should be some this like this but
    <c:forEach var="holiday" items="${state.holidays}" varStatus="current">
       <tr>
          <td>${holiday.name}</td>
    <%
    SimpleDateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy" );
    String parsedDate = df.parse(holiday.date);
    %>
          <td>${parsedDate}</td>
       </tr>
    </c:forEach>but here I am not able to get holiday inside my scriplet , how can apply SimpleDateFormat on holiday.date?
    is it possible to write scriplet inside tag?
    Please suggest me any other way if you have?
    Regards,
    Manoj

    Use the fmt:formatDate tag instead. It is based on SimpleDateFormat API.

  • Accessing VB Code using JNI

    Can access functions implemented in Visual Basic from a Java program using JNI?
    I was thinking like, since there's no .h file concept in VB, we can't access VB code from Java. Correct me if i am wrong....
    Thanks,
    Vasu

    As long as the VB app somehow exports its functions via the standard "C" interface (which is how all DLLs are exported), then you can call into it via JNI. I've successfully used JNI to call into a Delphi DLL, for example.
    The hard part is that VB doesn't want to do this by default, and to be honest, I'm not enough of a VB expert to tell you how you could do this. You can check your success, however, by running the dumpbin.exe utility (comes with MSVC) on the compiled DLL and see if your method shows up in some form. Once you know that name and how the parameters look (by-ref or by-val), you should be in good shape.
    I won't say it's an easy road to go, however--you may have more luck just hosting the VB code as an ActiveX control and connecting to it via the higher-level Java->COM APIs. Stu Halloway has a collection of such links on his home page: http://staff.develop.com/halloway.

  • I can't access an folder - you have unknown permissions

    After the update to Mountain Lion, i can't access a folder insider my home-folder any more;
    First I tried Apple+i ... you have unknown permissions ... nothing to unlock; nothing to change
    ... then i tried to repair the permissions; without luck.
    Then i saw in the terminal (ls -l), that the group was different; although the owner was right.
    I chown -R the folder to alex:staff; (also chmod -R 755)
    now it's:

  • How can i access any kind of java control inside ejb

    I want to access an ejb control of a session bean inside another session bean. Can anybody tell me how can i do that as the weblogic workshop doesnot give any option to add that.
    Thanks
    Sachin

    Hi,
    We can not able to add any type of javaControls inside the ejb project.
    Instead of that we can write our own code to get ejbs in an existing ejb's.

  • (261936172) Q general How can I access an EJB hosted on a remote server?

    Q<general> How can I access an EJB hosted on a remote server?
    A<general> The ability to add EJB control files enables you to access an EJB that
    is deployed to the server on which your web service is running. When you select
    "add EJB control" you need to supply the home and remote interfaces for the EJB
    as well as the JNDI name. This does not provide you with the capability for creating
    a control for a remotely hosted EJB. To use a EJB hosted on another server you
    will have to provide the appropriate code within your web service itself. You
    will have to programmatically gain to access the JNDI for the remote server, lookup
    up the home stub and use it to create the remote stub for the EJB. Of course,
    to make this work you must have the necessary client interfaces in you classpath
    (home and remote interfaces) which can easliy be achieved by adding the EJB client.jar
    file to the lib directory in the webservice WEB-INF folder.

    just define the different server path in the description xml file
    <jndi-name>jnp://serverA(B)/....</jndi-name>

    HI,
    Since webdynpros follows Model View Controller Architecture You can access EJBs in webdynpro(views/frontend) infact to connec to database uding JDBC you have to utilise EJB ( opening connection to database closing, and other Business functionality).See this link
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/unkown/web dynpro tutorial and sample applications.faq#q-7

    1. Create a Conection Pool in ur App Server itself (Weblogic/Websphere/Jboss way)
    2. Create a DataSource which maps to this Connection Pool.
    3. Use the DataSource object which handles poolong of Connections to access the database
    4. As mentioned above, Read notes/documents on "Synchronized" and "Vector" before you use this word in any code of EJB. This will solve ur problem. Read topic called "Collection Framework".

  • JAAS: How can I access the JAAS subject in an EJB?

    Hello,
    I try to understand the JAAS integration in J2EE 1.3.
    I know:
    J2EE defines a role-based container managed authorization for the web and ejb container. Roles, users and their relationship are defined in the realm.
    JAAS has a more sophisticated policy-based authorisation model. Since J2EE1.3 I can define a realm using JAAS having the role-based authorization of the container managed security.
    My question:
    How can I access the JAAS subject object in an EJB or servlet to use the policy-based authorization?
    Thank you for your answers
    Peter

    May be I should redefine my question:
    If I use JAAS as J2EE-Realm, how can I receive the subject?
    All JAAS-Tutorials contains code fragments like
    LoginContext lc = new LoginContext("entryFoo");
        try {
            // authenticate the Subject
            lc.login();
            System.out.println("authentication successful");
            // get the authenticated Subject
            Subject subject = lc.getSubject();But if I use JAAS as J2EE-Realm the container creates the LoginContext.
    Whom can I ask for the subject now?
    There is no such method implemented in the EJBContext, the HttpServlet or HttpServletRequest!
