Can't add ANY email accounts to iPhone

I can't add any email accounts to my iPhone's mail application. (it used to work just fine) I have tried to enter my account information using my yahoo, gmail, and exchange and none work. I enter my account information and after it verifies it takes me to "account" which is only a blank screen. I have tried entering account information both directly on the mail app and under settings.
Anyone having a similar problem? anyone have any ideas of how to fix or what's wrong?

Have you tried Resetting All Settings? To do so, navigate to Settings > General > Reset.
If that doesn't work, restoring the iPhone and setting it up as a new phone (instead of restoring from backup) should ultimately resolve the issue.

Not sure what you mean? Who else provides free email accounts? Google, Yahoo, Microsofts Hotmail and Live services, AOL/AIM, and most ISPs provide you with an email account as well, but each runs their own email services on their own equipment - these are proprietary services liked to physically distinct email servers (actuall, in most case to large server farms). So Apple has no legal right, nor means, to host your Yahoo account on their iCloud servers, nor can Yahoo host your iCloud email account on their servers - neither owns the others domains (Yahoo cannot host me.com since they don't own that domain name).
Many people (myself included) own our own domains and pay a hosting company to host those on their equipment. I use my own domains for much of my email (and almost all of my personal email). While those email accounts physically live on the hosting companies equipment, I can always change hosting companies and move my domain, since I own those domains. There are many hosting companies - GoDaddy, 1and1, HostMonster, Yahoo, ...

How can I add additional email accounts

I am trying to move my email from windows live mail to Thunderbird. I have three email accounts which i wish to set up. There does not seem to be any 'account setup button'.
Is this achievable in some way ?

From the menu bar select File-New-Existing Mail Account
No menu bar with File? Press the alt key. Or...
From the AppMenu button select New Message-Existing Mail Account

Can't add new EMAIL account - IMAP

Added a new account via Workgroup Manager - for IMAP mail.
Checking mail from Mail gets the following error:
"There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Check the settings for account “account name” or try again.
The server error encountered was: Mail service ACL is not enabled for this user"
A dozen or so other accounts working fine.
Anyone?

The new account needs to have the magic "this user can get email" group added to its list of groups.
HOWEVER, you don't do this when you create the account -- you do it in Server Admin program, when you click on the server itself (not a sub-header) -- there's a tab for enabling/disabling certain users from using different programs.
I had the same problem today, solved it, get mail fine now.

Yes you can have multiple version of yahoo mail using the Mail App. You also have the option to go to the App Store and use the Yahoo Mail app which will support multiple mail accounts as well.

I can't add any email account to iphone

I used to have yahoo and gmail, suddenly, both disappeared from my mail, and when I try to add either directly from the mail or going to settings to add account, it will go blank and nothing happened. And yes, I've restored my iphone but to no avail. Please help me or I will throw my phone out the window. By the way, this is not the 3G, it's the old one. and

Problem is, in the "other", there doesn't appear an option like I used to have before this problem appeared that allows me to choose IMAP or POP, it doesn't have ADVANCED option. I've tried both Gmail and Yahoo, but it's just not working. I think I'm just gonna take it to Apple. Thanks for the help anyway :-/

How do you add another email account

I have clicked on settings, than clicked on mail, contacts, calendar. But the Accounts section is all grey. I can't add another email account or even delete the existing one. I have changed email accounts, so this is really annoying. Can someone please help me here.

Did you check your restriction settings on your ipod for changing accounts in Settings/General/Restrictions?

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

Sometimes deleting the account and then re-creating it can solve this issue
Write down all the information in accounts before doing this
Highlight the account on the left and click the minus button
Then click the plus button to add the new account and follow the prompts
