Can't AirPrint From My iPhone 5

This is weird, I haven't airprinted from my iPhone 5 in awhile, when I tried today got a message "No AirPrint Printers found".  But I do have an AirPrint printer, it's an HPLaserjet Pro CM1415fnw.  Checked the wireless connection on the printer which said that I'm connected.  I then tried to print the same item off my iPad-3rd Gen and it identified my printer immediately AND PRINTED.
What's going on, what do I need to configure on my iPhone 5 so that it can air-print? My iOS on the iPhone 5 is 6.1.3 and the same iOS is on my iPad.

Additional Information
If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on.   If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
If necessary, consult the printer documentation or contact the printer vendor for help with  the above steps.
Notes:
Avoid connecting AirPrint-capable printers to the USB port of Apple AirPort Base Stations or Time Capsules. Doing so can enable traditional AirPort printing from a Mac, but it will not enable AirPrint functions for iOS devices. If you cannot use Wi-Fi networking to connect the AirPrint-capable printer, use an Ethernet connection from the AirPrint-capable printer to the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule.
Wi-Fi printers can take several minutes to join a Wi-Fi network after being turned on. Ensure that the printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network before attempting to print.

Can I airprint from my iphone to a HP photosmart plus B209a-m wireless printer?

    Not via bluetooth.
You can print to some wi-f printers if they are airprint enabled printers or you have an app that provides this feature.

  • I can't AirPrint from my iPhone 3Gs

I can print photos from my Kodak app to my wireless printer but when I try and print straight from my photos or a document, she searching for printer it can't find it. Any help??????

To the best of my knowledge, none of Kodak's printers support AirPrint, so you have to use the Kodak app or route the print job through a computer; there are methods for setting up a computer to support AirPrint. Another option is an AirPrint-capable print server to which you could connect your printer. Lantronix makes a couple of models, including one that supports a USB printer:

  • How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer

How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer?  I was told by an Apple tech to do so via Airpot Express USB port. I already have a wired and wireless network and printers connected via Ethernet.  I am just trying to print from my iPad and/or iPhone to my existing printers...if possible. I tried the airport express but that does not appear to do what I need. Any help or a definitive "no way" would be appreciated.

There are third-party apps that permit this. If on a MAC, get this:

    PC, get this:

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

  • Can I print from my iPhone 4 using an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a

Can I print from my iPhone 4 using an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a.  And if so how do I do this????

    Hi stacy7560,
You can print from your iPhone4 to your 8600 using Apple's AirPrint feature.  I have a few steps you can follow to do this:
    1.  Make sure the iPhone is on the same wireless network as your printer.
    2.  Select the mail application on the iOS device and open an email you wish to print.
    3.  At the top of the screen, locate and press the action icon.
    4.  Select the "Print" option.
    5.  Make sure your printer is in the top field of the Printer Options screen.  If not, tap “Select Printer.”  Your printer should appear.
    6.  Press the “Print” selection.
Note:  To print a photo, follow these same steps once you have opened the image you wish to print.
Let me know if this helps.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

  • After upgrading to iOS 8.0.2, I can't print from my iPhone 5s

After upgrading to iOS 8.0.2, I can't print from my iPhone 5s.  My iPhone 4s and iPad continue to print.  When I try to print to either printer, the message reads,"contacting printer," and then, "preparing to print."  But nothing prints.

Following ultimately helped me : Make sure that you are logged in at the App Store App or iTunes App with your apple ID and password with a US account. Turn your iPad off and on and than you should see the Radio button again. It won't work if you are logged on with a foreign account. If you are not logged in at all, it worked, too.

No you cannot.  The only Blutooth support for the ATV is keyboards.

Can calendar entries from an iPhone be pushed up to the cloud for iPad and computer updating? My phone only seems to be receiving updates from the cloud, but not able to send them.

Under Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars, What do you have set for the Default Calendar? Personal?
If you don't have it set to a Cloud Calendar it will only create the entry locally.   You would need to select the iCloud Calendar specifically when creating the Calendar entry to have it sync.
Otherwise set your default calendar to be the iCloud Calendar so all entries are created there by default. And as such get synced to other devices.
