Can't complete registration for BT Cloud
Hi,
I tried to install my BT Cloud on my Mac Book last week .. the inital installation failed which I believe was becasue of an account migration issue. Waited until the weekend and manged to complete the registration on my iPhone & on-line which all went OK.
The issue I'm having now is that the Mac wont complete the installation I get as far as step 3 and no matter which name I choose i get a red x next to the device name. It also appears as if it doesn't know which account its related to as the application just says "Hi " whereas on the web it says "Hi Hugh". Almost as if it can't register because the application doesn't know which account to tie the device to.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application several times. The uninstall included the removal of:
/Application/BT Cloud.app file
~/Library/Preferences/com.fsecure.sync.BTCloudWebView.plist file
~/Library/Caches/com.fsecure.sync.BTCloudWebView folder
~/Library/Logs/F-Secure/BT Cloud folder
~Library/Saved Application State/com.fsecure.sync.BTCloudWebView.savedState folder
Any ideas what the problem is?
.. just for a further bit of information; when the app reinstalls after I accept the agreement it starts on step 2 of 5 .. amost as if step 1 is the one I need to complete to allow the installation to complete.
Is there any other settings file that needs removed?

Eligibility for "complete package for creative cloud" for CS3 or later version customer
I bought my CS5 design premium on Oct 12, 2012. I responded to the adobe promotion of complete package for CS3 or later version customer. After the scanning, it showed me that "We don't have any registered products associated with this Adobe ID". The serial number is posted in my account. I have no idea why it says I am not qualified.
If you bought an Education version, it does not qualify for a Cloud discount because you've already used a discount with the Education version

How can I log into an I cloud for windows Desk top, it is rejecting my apple ID.
If you don't already have an iCloud account you cannot create one on Windows: you have to do this on a Mac or an iOS device. Once that's done you can sign into iCloud in the Windows Control Panel.

Can't complete patch for Windows 7 64 bit problem
just replaced old XP box with HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF PC... got it Friday & am now trying to load the print patch so can use HP deskjet 820Cse that have had for years ..got patch downloaded, extracted, & located but can't get past the NET STOP SPOOLER command... generates "System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied"... I confirmed that I am an administrator, spooler is running, and patch .dll files are present....tried in different directories in case was a file permissions issue.... would appreciate suggestions on how to get past this error 5 hurdle.. many thanks...

Can't complete purchase of Creative Cloud subscription
I have been trying to complete purchase of a Student CC subscription. I have worked with several support representatives all morning, have tried creating multiple accounts, used multiple valid credit cards but I keep getting "We'll look into that and get back to you" message at step 5 and nothing in order history. I see $1 charges being applied in my bank statements so something is being processed but I get no order number and support tells me it didn't go through. I really want to purchase the membership, can someone help?

I can call using facetime from my Iphone but can not from Facetime of my Macbook Pro. I can sign in there , but aftyet that it says a server error occured during the registration process.

I would like to know the exact error message when you sign in, in the meanwhile please try the following steps assuming its Windows, let me know if its a MAC:
1) Go to Start button>> Control panel>> Uninstall a program.
2) Check if you see Browser safeguard there, if yes then uninstall it.
3) Open Internet explorer>> Tools>> Internet options>> Connections>> Lan Settings>> and it should be like this.

I'm in the trial period for Creative Cloud - I have about 19 days to go on Photoshop CC on my iMac. Can I use the same CC trial on a second machine? Specifically on a Windows 7 machine?
Nothing personal to you or Rajshee, but this is exactly why I absolutely despise these "community forums" (not just Adobe but any company). I called the Tech Support phone line today after digging and digging for a phone number, and they told me the exact opposite, and they did it a lot faster than it was possible to get a forum response. (That's really not personal, because you can't control that, but it's a fact.)
Their answer: As long as I'm signed in with the same ID, I can try, say, Photoshop CC on my iMac at home and also try Acrobat Pro CC on my Windows 7 machine at work. Same account, same login, one trial.
This makes complete sense to me as I'm financially on the hook (potentially) for the same package. If I give away my login to someone else, which I wouldn't do, I'm still on the hook. This is why the cloud approach to software is such genius and I applaud it.
BTW, 99% of the "community forum" wrong answers come on Microsoft sites, so don't feel bad. -

I'm trying to use FaceTime from my IMac OS Version 10.8.5 but when I try to log in, the system tries to verify and gives me a number to call Apple to complete registration. Is there anything I can do?
There is no official public documentation of that alert as far as I know.
If you're trying to sign in to FaceTime, try to sign in to iMessage in the Messages application, or vice versa.
Otherwise, do as the alert directs. According to reports, you won't be charged for the support call if you select "Apple ID"—not the hardware model—as the product you're asking about, and cite the "customer code" in the alert as the "validation code" when you speak to the Apple representative. -
