Can't delete user account with open shopping cart

Hi all,
Is it okay to delete user account with open shopping cart? I can't delete user by users_gen, it says existing partner document. I then applied notes 1148837,report PARTNER_SET_DELETE. And this report doesn't really work. I ran it and it found zero occurrnences. Is anybody using this report?
So is it the only way to delete user from SRM is by su01 and leave some informations on Busines partner (bp)
Thanks,
Kev

Hi. You can easily lock the user and change the validity dates using SU01.
Then, I would write a program that looks through all locked users and checks their valdity dates. Table USR02 holds all this data.
Then, if the user is locked and the validity end date was 3 or 6 or whatever months ago (make this a selection parameter probably), then you know you want to delete this user.
So, go into table HRP1001 where SCLAS = US and SOBID = user name and OTYPE = CP and get field OBJID. This is the central person (CP) number.
Then, go into table HRP1001 again, this time where SCLAS = BP  and OTYPE = CP and OBJID = the CP number and get field SOBID. This is the business partner (BP) number.
Now, run function BAPI_USER_DELETE to delete the SU01 user fully, then function HR_CENTRALPERSON_DELETE to delete the central person, then function BUP_BUPA_DELETE to delete the business partner.
And that should delete everything.
Regards,
Dave.

  • How can I delete user account picture in Windows 8?

I have set my account picture, but now want to delete the pic and back to the default.
    How can I do it?

    Hello,
The userpic, the image tiles used for your account picture, is located, in different resolutions, in the following folder: C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\%UserAccountSecurityIdentifier%
where %UserAccountSecurityIdentifier% is a placeholder for the Security IDentifier (SID) assigned by the operating system or domain controller to your user account.
Here is how it looks like:
NOTE: If your are using multiple account for login to your computer, like local Security Account Manager (SAM) account (standard account created and stored on your local PC in NTFS), your Microsoft Account (the one using internet account name provided
by Microsoft such as [email protected],
[email protected]), or an Active Directory account, please open root C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\ folder and browse to the folder with the name of the SID assigned to your user account for which you want to change the user picture.
To find out what SID refers to what user account name used on your PC, proceed with the following:
Start the elevated command prompt by pressing WindowsKey+Q and typing
    cmd, then hitting Enter.
At the command prompt type: wmic useraccount get name, sid and press
    Enter.
This will return a table with all user accounts registered on this computer (that is those who had once logged onto this PC) and their corresponding SIDs.
    Now lookup this registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AccountPicture\Users
And locate the subkey (named correspondingly to the desired SID), then remove REG_SZ values that contain paths to the userpic images to remove traces of userpics.
WARNING: Please create new system restore point before making this registry change!
    Hope this helps.

  • Can't Delete User Account - On Mac Os X Server

Hi, I am running Server v 2.2.1 on Mountain Lion 10.8.3 (I don't see a community set up for this new server software so I'm asking here)
I just created a user  account in the server but made a mistake and for some reason it won't let me delete the account.
Clicking on the little minus box does nothing and when I go into the "edit user" everything is greyed out accept for the "Administer the server" checkbox.
Other accounts I've created don't have this issue so I'm not sure what is going on.
Is there a way to delete this account? Maybe from the Terminal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

I figured it out. For some reason there was no admin write access to the User folders.

  • I can't delete an item in my shopping cart.

I have tried to click on the x beside the buy symbol and also highlighted the item and push the delete key and neither one will delete it. I added a song today and then deleted it and it worked just fine but this one will not go away. Can someone help?

If Francisco's suggestion doesn't work, contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form linked from the bottom of their web page and explain the problem to them. They can clear your Shopping Cart for you. They'll probably have to clear the entire cart, so if you have other items there, make sure you've noted them, or saved them in a "wish list" playlist, so you remember what they were.
    Good luck.

  • New Macbook Air setup problem with deleting user account

I recently changed from a MBP to a MBA and upon completing my migration data from old mac to new one I had an extra user account. So I have my admin account and a guest account and a third account that I don't want. Upon trying to delete this account it show "deleting user account and home folder" but it has been doing this for more than an hour therefore it will not let me exit system preferences. Any help on this?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "need configuration data ... " However, if both computers are on your network then you should be able to synchronize various files or folders using backup software. However, to start you will need to enable File Sharing on one of the computers.
For help with this select Mac Help from the Finder's Help menu. Search for "file sharing." You should find several links on how to configure it on your computer. Also see Mac 101- File sharing and Tutorial- File sharing in OS X - MacFixIt.
Once file sharing is set up you can then try a backup utility to do the synching. Most backup utilities not only do backups but can also be configured to synchronize files and/or folders. Here are some possibilities:
    Backup Software Recommendations
    1. Synchronize! Pro X (Commercial)
    2. Synk (Backup, Standard, or Pro)
    3. Deja Vu (Shareware)
    4. Carbon Copy Cloner (Donationware)
    5. Data Backup (Commercial)
    6. SilverKeeper 2.0 (Freeware)
    7. Tri-Backup (Commercial)
    8. SyncTwoFolders (Freeware)
9, Data Lore (Commercial - exclusively for network file transfers over Bonjour.)
Others may be found at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on backup and restore. Also read How to Back Up and Restore Your Files.
Hope this helps get you started.

  • New iMac 21.5". How can I set up a new user account with access to all the files of the original user account?

Running Mavericks on a 2013 iMac 21.5". I want to set up a second user account with different settings that meet the requirements of specific software. I need the files to be accessible by both users. I have made both the main and secondary accounts administrators. I have also enabled file sharing for both. Neither account can see the other's files in Finder.
How can I make all files accessible to both accounts? I read that administrator accounts automatically can see all files on the computer, but it is not working out that way. I have restarted the computer, to no avail.

Comcast only offers POP accounts, and one way to set up the account and enter all the settings before it connects to the mail server, might be to do it Offline:

The server settings are given [http://customer.comcast.com/help-and-support/internet/setting-up-thunderbird/ here], but the method is for Online account setup.

I'm trying to make iCloud mail my primary email but I'm concerned that I may have lost the perfect email address forever.

I have the same problem. After our wedding I've created an alias ([email protected]) to my actual AppleID Account ([email protected]). Now I'd the idea to delete the alias and my actual AppleID to create a new AppleID with ([email protected]).
Is there really no possibilty to do this?
Thanks in advance for quick and positive feedback.

  • Can not delete users

Logged in as the administrator, I still can not delete users. I click the '-' button, it asks to confirm and nothing happens. It's that simple. OS X Server V4.0.3. Run disk permissions verify/repair several times, no joy.
    Any suggestions?

Could it be that you're logged in with an account with system administrator privileges but not Open Directory administrator privleges (the difference was more obvious in the old server admin app than the new one from MOS 10.7 + Server 1 and up)?

  • Snow Leopard Server - Can't delete users in WGM?

    Hi!
I have 2 Mac OS X Server 10.6.4 machines. One is an OD-master and the other is a replica. Since last week I haven't been able to delete user accounts in WGM. It doesn't give me any error and at first glance it looks like the account is deleted, but the account pops up again when searching for that user i WGM.
I also noticed that Server Admin freezes and need a force quit when I click the "Settings" tab for det OD-service.
I suspect the two problems are related somehow, but I can't figure out how to fix them. I've read through a couple of forum posts here but couldn't find anyone with a similar question/problem.
Changing passwords and other settings work fine on user accounts. The syncing between OD master and Replica also works.
The problem is identical on both machines. Deleting accounts doesn't work and Server Admin crashes when checking the "settings" tab on the OD-service.
Has anyone got a clue what I should do och look for?

I managed to solve the problem a couple of days ago. This is what I did.
At first I thought Server Admin crashed when choosing the OD-service, but I was mistaken. It didn't crash, just stalled for a long time (up to 20 minutes as soon as I clicked on something in the OD-service).
My main concern was that my latest OD-backup was a month old and I really wanted a fresh archive before I tried to rebuild the OD-master. So if you already have a working archive you can skip the next part.
Another problem was that the archive-feature did not work at all on any of my two servers.. I could reach the archive-function (with 20 minutes delay on each click) but it resulted in no archive and didn't give me any errors, so I'm glad I checked to see that an archive was actually made. So I promoted my replica to an OD-master and after that Server Admin didn't freeze for 20 minutes any more in the OD-service and the archive function worked again. So I did a fresh archive.
Now that I had a fresh OD-archive I demoted the (original) OD-master to a Standalone server. Then made it an OD-master again and imported the OD-archive I made from the replica. Everything worked fine and I could delete users again and Server Admin didn't freeze any more. I hooked up the replica to the OD-master and since then I've had no problem. I hope this helps someone else with the same/similar problem.

Have you tried changing the admin password in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Password   ??
The Apple ID that is associated with your admin password is noted there.

  • How to permanently/manually delete User Account on MAC OS X 10.6.8

    Hi There,
Can you please assist with providing instructions on how to manually delete USER accounts on MAC OS X 10.6.8.  Everyone but one user (who's account was deleted) can not log into the damain device.  As a test I tried to add a new user accout with the same name as before and even though nothing existing in the USERS folder; it states that a duplicate name exists.
How do I delete that duplicate?  Where could that be located?
    Please let me know,
    Sonia

    Solution!
Command to locate the hidden User Profile:
    dscl . list /users
Command to delete the now found hidden User Profile:
    sudo dscl . delete /users/<userID>
    Thanks,

  • Can't delete admin account even as Root

We're experimenting with integrating our Mac users into Active Directory. I've read that you should delete the user account in Sys Prefs first and leave the home folder.
The problem we're having is that I can't delete the users account in system prefs even if I log in as the root user. I get a generic error after about 10 minutes of looking like it is working that says the account could not be deleted.
My guess is it has something to do with the fact that I had already logged into the same acount with an Active Directory login and the permissions have been changed on certain files and now it can't complete archiving the home folder because of some rights issue.
I have unbound the computer from the AD forest and ran disk permissions to no avail. I'd like to keep the existing home folder to use with the network login if possible so I haven't tried the quick delete option.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You can't delete an account if it is logged in, or if it is the only admin account on the system. So make sure that there is at least one other admin account, and that the account you want to delete os logged out.

  • Help: Can't delete email account in OSX Mail

I have verizon.net email account that I had to update because verizon changed the incoming and outgoing servers.
Each of my family members has a separate profile on my Mac and I was able to successfully update their settings.
I have the admin account. No matter what I do, I can't get the new server settings to stick in MacOSX Mail.
So I tried to delete the email account via System Preferences. When I relaunch Mail or System Preferences, the account is stil there. When I try to delete the account from within Mail, I get an error message:
Account removal failed with error: “The operation couldn’t be completed. Unable to find an account for the UID given.”.
You can try deleting the account from the “Internet Accounts“ preference pane in System Preferences.
I even tried the steps in this thread using Terminal:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/23824890#23824890
I even tried deleting the account in my Library preferences.
    No luck.
I had this problem on my 17" MacBook Pro. I just migrated to a Retina MacBook Pro using a Time Machine backup. Same exact problem. I'm thinking there's some bizarro preference thingy that is buried somewhere that needs to be removed.
Yes, I ran disk utility as well.
    Help me please!

After closing mail I used a plist editor and edited:
    /Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Accounts.plist
    (as always TAKE A BACKUP)
I removed all key pairs to the offending account.
    Voila.
    Removed.

  • Deleting user accounts

Is there an automated way to delete user accounts on a regular basis through Apple Remote Desktop

Well you can issue a send unix command or set ARD to regulary send a unix command. The complecity of that unix command is really up to what you can find, hire, or can write yourself.
If your accounts are coming from an Open Directory or Active Directory, you can configure the account to be 'mobile accounts.' At witch point you can set mobile accounts to expire after x time of inactivty.
But why do you want to delete accounts? what about the risk of deleting files a user wants / needs.
