Can't find the imported java class when run .jsp file

Hi,
I want to run a jsp web application using tomcat. I put all my .jsp files under "TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/junmin" directory, and put all .class files under "TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/junmin/WEB-INF/classes" directory. I set up TOMCAT_HOME AND JAVA_HOME already. But when I type in the address like below:
http://db1.acad.emich.edu:8080/junmin/login.jsp
The IE will give me error msg indicating that it can't find all the .class files which I imported them in login.jsp file.
So, does anyone know that if I miss some configuration in order to let the .jsp file recognize the .class files. Thanks a lot!

Ha, this might be the reason.
Can I add sth like this:
<Context path="/junmin" docbase="junmin" debug=0 reloadable=true>
</Context>
But in my local computer, I didn't add this <Context> either. It works well.

Hi,
It is because the converter works on byte code and it only supports a subset of the Java language (see the JC specifications). It is kind of like compiling you code on Java 6 and trying to run it on Java 5. The JCDK outlines the required compiler version.

JDBC adapter can't find the jdbc driver class

I know that the jdbc driver is in the classpath, and to confirm that I have created a java program in the IB (repository) which import the class oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver. I can compile and run that program without problems.

Can you try to the following:
1. Remove your JDBC driver entries from the CLASSPATH.
2. Put those jars into your jre/lib/ext directory.
3. Restart the whole adapter engine, and
4. Config the driver java class for the adapter. the class name to be used can be found in your JDBC driver document.
Let me know whether it works.

Where can I find the install code from when I purchased Mountain Lion?

Going to get a new hard drive, my local store said if I could provide the install code for Mountain Lion that they would only charge me $20 to install the OS on the HD. How can I find the install code when I purchased it. I bought it Nov. 2012.

That's only applicable if you got Mountain Lion through the now-discontinued free upgrade program and haven't redeemed the code for it.
If you bought it from the Mac App Store or have redeemed a download code for it, log into it with the Apple ID and password associated with that copy of it, click on the Purchases tab, and redownload it from there.
If you got it with a new Mac, start it up with the Command and R keys held down and reload it from the recovery partition.

I had a EP system witch sp15,and I deploy a sap new forums,but recently I found when I post a new thread,I can't find the" rich text" button and the "plain text"button and the "preview"button,the bold,italics,underline function is invalidate,and I find the IE page has notice "the erroe on page" when my error occured.
eg:when I want to post a new thread,the post page of IE give me a notice "the error on page",I click the notice,find it said:"error:MultiSelector not defined" or "error:MCTabs not defined".
Who can help me?

I know this is an old thread but wanted to post the resolution that I found when I had this problem.
Basically the problem is because the Quicklink is not set properly.
I had to make sure that the Page Quicklink property was set to 'forums'.
I also had to make sure that the Email Settings in the Admin Console had the following property:
'URL for your installation:' had to be set to http://myportalserver.50800/forums.
Hope that helps someone who has the issue sometime.

How to find the main java class file

I need to write a Java program which MUST know one of these:
1) the full path to the main java class (the class with "main" method)
or
2) access to the main class as byte array.
If i know (1) then I have no problems reading the main class into byte array, but the main target is still (2).
Another option is if the main file is in JAR, which again leads to problems, because I cannot access the file in normal way, but I still need access to the exact byte stream.
Any help is highly appreciated! Thanks!

You could try somthing like this in your main-method:
InputStream is = getClass().getResourceAsStream(<"myModifiedPackageName/MyClass.class">);I don't know if this works though.

I tried genarate java classes from multiple xsd files, but getting above error, here in .xsd file i have the <xe: element="resultClass"> in all .xsd files.
So I removed all .xsd files accept one, now genarated java classes correctly. but i want to genarte the java classes with diffrent names with out changing .xsd
Can you please tell me any one how to resolve this one......

Unable to import a java class in a jsp file

I am trying to import a java class in my jsp.

When I run the above JSP, it says that class 'com.company.portlets.searchApps.object.SearchOBJ' cannot be found.
Why?

The way that JDeveloper organized the files was like this:
C:\jdev1012\jdev\mywork\WksSearchApps\Project\classes\com\company\portlets\searchAPPS\object\SearchOBJ.class
I am assuming that JDeveloper puts the file where they are suppose to be...if not, how do I change that?

Can you find the imported Library ? My system can't !

Dear People,
In making a first attempt to do an applet in JBuilder7 rather
than from the Dos prompt my imported library is not being found . Here are the steps I did.
1) deleted all the premade source code on the scrren and
keyed in my applet code "MakeBox.java"
2) went to Tools | Configure Libraries
I saw on the left "User Home " and under that i saw
"objectdraw"
3) under the class tab I saw:
[ C:/WINDOWS/jbproject/objectdraw.jar ]
4) at the Required Libraries tab I saw:
"objectdraw"
the error message I get when I try to compile the class is:
"MakeBox.java": Error : cannot access directory objectdraw at
line 6

I don't know if this is your problem or not, but whenever JBuilder decides it doesn't like me I usually have to go do this:
1)Project Menu
2)Project Properties
3)Paths tab
4)make sure your working directory is right
5)get rid of the /test in the path of the second radiobuttoned option
maybe that will help, maybe not...its what I do and it usually work.

in this package ther ist the class Test

Actually <jsp:useBean /> takes fully qualified class name.
so your code for <jsp:useBean /> should be like this
<jsp:useBean id="app" scope="page" class="TestPackage.Test"/>

Just done the 'Erase and Install', I can't find the Hard Drive I backed up my files on?

I have just done the 'Erase and Install' process, but before I did, I backed up my files to an External Hard Drive using Time Machine. I have now restored my Mac and gone through the Erase and Install process, but now, when I plug in my external hard drive, I cant find it anywhere? I've tried quite a few things, but no luck! Also, what has happened to iMovie and iPhoto and all those Applications?! They have dissapeared!

If you restored your internal drive with Time Machine, did you then ERASE and install? What did you erase and what were you installing? What is on the external HDD that has the Time Machine backup on it?
