Can't initialize the recorder after installation?
i have installed the OATS 9.0 in the win64-bit system, while it start the recorder always get the error message " Cannot get a connection from helper after 15 seconds".

We have a Virtual Machine as our test server that installed the OAT and on that Virtual machine we had created a Repository folder. I was able to record the script in that folder early today when I logged into the server to test out the installation.
I now have a problem on my local machine when I try to open the script that I created early today. I got a message saying that I did not have enough privillege to modify the script although I was granted full access to the repository. It seems to me that the script was owned by a certain user and different user can't open and modify it. How can I share the scripts so that each user can access and modify the script? Is there any configuration I miss out? Do I have to be an admin on my local machine to be able to open the scripts stored in Repository?

Can I change the IP after installation?
I bought a mini to help in migrating my limping old g4 tiger that has customized web and mailman services to Leopard. Since I have a day job and am only borderline literate in command-line tasks, I was planning on doing a clean install on the Mini and then once it is working, moving it into production. As I recall, it was a real problem changing IPs once the machine was configured. Is that still the case?
Something to note.
I setup a server and after changing the IP address I ran into some strange issues. They were not show stoppers but here is what I found.
The old ip address persists under the Replica Tree for Open Directory. It is also listed under every user and a few config variables in the ldap database. Due to this when I captured packets while diagnosing connection problems. I would see my computer trying to contact the old address.
I corrected all the entries in ldap database but it didn't "Fix" the Replica Tree list.
One last problem for me... Directory Util, adding the OD server with SSL but that's another thread. -

If you lock a row in the course of a transaction, you cannot unlock the row until the end of transaction (either rollback or commit). DBMS doesn't allow this.
Alternatively, you can try to delay locking of the row. E.g., you can try using optimistic locking. Please see the Java Doc for oracle.jbo.Transaction if you're interested in optimistic locking.

on my windows XP pro PC i opened windows migration assistant and the first message is: "Cannot start Outlook Express. The application can not initialize the storage. The computer doesn't have enough memory or your disk is full. (0x80007114)"
On my windows PC outlook express is NOT running and as far as i know, NOT installed.

Hi,
You basically have 3 options:
1. Use selective deletion and delete the error records.
2. Do reverse posting and negate the error records.
3. This is my preference. Delete all the data from the cube. RSA1 -> cube -> right click -> delete data -> choose "fact and dim" from pop-up. Now reconstruct all the requests that you need i.e ignore the error request. But before all this make sure you have the PSAs for all the request.

I'm trying to install CS2 on a mac OS X version 10.9.4. When I try to open the installer file I get a message "You can't open the application Adobe Installer because PowerPC applications are no longer supported. Does anyone know what I should do?
It means what it says - it's not compatible with modern Macs. You need to buy a current version.

I am trying to install print controller and printer -but get this error message when trying to use the installer:

Is it possible to use the 'Record' feature of the Applescript editor to create a script that will automatically copy a website address into a new email message and then send that email message to everyone in my Friends category from the Address Book.
I want to do this because I want to alert my friends to changes on my website once a week, but I don't want to have to sit and type out the email and copy the website address and everything like that. So I was thinking I could do it with one click using Applescript.
Is that right and how dangerous is it. Like if i somehow manage to mess up the script can I just delete it and start again without causing any damage to my Mac

I want to do the following.
1: Open Mail
2: Create a new email message
3: Set the recipients from my contact group "Friends" so that everyone in my my 'Friends" contact group will receive the email
4: Set the subject as: "Check out these great new updates to my site"

Am I correct in thinking that I will need to use Automator and schedule the automation to run a script as per a weekly iCal event.
If this is correct, then how would I do that. Can I use the 'Record' feature of Automator and the Applescript Editor, to create the automation and the script. I am new to doing this kind of thing so I am unsure of the procedure for accomplishing the task I described above automatically.

For some odd reason, it seems my ethernet has not yet been installed to my operating system and I do not know how to do that even with the internet, I have the LAN cable hooked up to my computer but I do not know exactly what to do about it. Is there some sort of driver I need to install, or what? How do I do that without the internet?
This operating system is on a separate partition to my other operating system that is connected to internet already (Windows Vista Premium) that I do not wish to use anymore because of it's corruption. AlexKeep in mind that Logic also has a limit of 8550 quarter notes. So changing the time signature to 4/8 can get longer recording times. So make sure you change this setting along with the song end. See page 93 in the reference manual.

Here to help shed some additional light on this case, jdondr. I also own a Maxx. With your phone, if you access the Gallery, there should be a folder named: Messaging. If you look at the upper left hand corner, you should see a drop down box. Is it currently set to Albums?

No need to worry about the disk version. You would just have to install an update anyway as soon as it was installed. Download from the link provided below and use the serial number you have to activate.
