Can't install ros-hydro-collada-parser due to "missing" header file

Hello,
I'm trying to install ros-hydro-desktop-full on this i686 arch laptop and I got stuck at compiling ros-hydro-collada-parser.
Ros-hydro-collada-parser has collada-dom from aur as a dependency. I have installed it, and all the right files appear in the /usr/include/collada-dom2.4:
[flyer@lapt ../ros-hydro-collada-parser]$ ls /usr/include/collada-dom2.4/
1.4 1.5 dae dae.h dom.h modules
The compilation fails with this:
[ 50%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/src/collada_parser.cpp.o
/home/flyer/.builds/ros-hydro-collada-parser/src/collada_parser/src/collada_parser.cpp:45:17: fatal error: dae.h: No such file or directory
#include <dae.h>
^
compilation terminated.
CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/build.make:57: recipe for target 'CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/src/collada_parser.cpp.o' failed
make[2]: *** [CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/src/collada_parser.cpp.o] Error 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:94: recipe for target 'CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/all' failed
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/collada_parser.dir/all] Error 2
Makefile:116: recipe for target 'all' failed
make: *** [all] Error 2
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
The full output is here: http://pastebin.com/gAe8MNwb
It works fine on my 64bit arch system. The collada-dom folder is exactly the same and cpp file (collada-parser.cpp) is exactly the same.
How does this <dae.h> include work on my 64bit system and shouldn't it be <collada-dom2.4/dae.h> instead?
Do you have any ideas of what could be the cause of this problem?

  • I cannot uninstall or install updated version of iTunes due to "missing .msi file".

    I have been having an issue with updating my iTunes for the past month or so, and it turns out my mom is having the same issue. Both of our iPods and iPads immdiatly updated to iTunes 10.7, however both of our computers come up with the same error message saying the iTunes.msi file cant be located. I also cannot uninstall for the same reason. This just started happening about a month ago. I dont understand what happened. When I got to documents however I can see the iTunes setup file right there! Help! Now neither of us can sync.

    For those having this same problem, someone else on here had a solution that worked really well if you have Windows. They directed me to a site ---> http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    From there on the righthand side you'll see links indicated by reaccuring double arrows labeled Downloaded locations. Click one of them, proceed to download. Once completed go to Start> All Programs> Windows Install Clean Up.
    Click it and find all iTunes files and remove them. After that restart your laptop or PC and then try and download iTunes 10.7 again. It worked out for me really well. (:

    I can not install the newest version of iTunes because of a file that can not be found. This is what I am seeing:(The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. C:\Documents and Settings\Aubrie\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple\Apple Software Update\)

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    Here's a screenshot showing the particular links on the page that you should be clicking:
    After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
    Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
    When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
    (2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    So forget reinstalling DO a brand new instal as it has worked for me.

  • I can't install the Server Behaviours Extension due to licensing verification failure

    I have entered my Adobe CC username and password but can't install due to a licensing verification failure.  The details have been correctly entered.  I have tried three times and tested the details by logging into here!

    Did you encounter this problem when you installed this extension with Exchange Panel? Is it a free or paid extension? Could you find it in “My Stuff” pane of Exchange Panel?

  • Can I install Calendar Server on another partition other than root file system

    Can I install Calendar Server on another partition other than / ?
    <P>
    In this version, the default path is hard coded to install in
    /users/unison. However, if you do not have enough room on your root
    partition or choose to install it in another location, you can do so
    using a logical link. The installation guide explains this as well.
    <P>
    For example, suppose you want /users/unison, which must NOT already
    exist, to be logically linked to /var/opt/unison, which must exist.
    Then as root user:
    <P>
    <UL>
    <LI>
    Create the directory /users (if it does not already exist)
    <P>
    % mkdir /users
    <P>
    <LI>
    Create the logical link. The directory /users/unison must
    NOT exist before doing this.
    <P>
    % ln -s /var/opt/unison /users/unison
    </UL>
    <P>
    <P>

    makes a lot of sense.  I am looking for an answer myself.  My documents folder long ago outgrew it's place on the boot drive.  It would be nice to keep it in the user folder organized on another disc

  • How can I use a dll if I dont have a header file

    I'm not sure if I'm even trying the possible here as I have searched and not been able to find much at all.  However I figured it was worth asking here.
    I have access to several dll's used by a program, I need to open a file using the program (for some reason it is completely non responsive unless you open it "within" the program itself) and so decided to browse the .dll files included.  Ive found a few functions which may carry out the function I need.  Is there a way of figuring out the inputs/outputs if I don't have documentation or a header file?
    This is the next stage in a huge project I am working on at the moment and I've been banging my head against the wall all day trying to figure this out.
    Thanks in advance for any help
    Rik
    That glass?
    Thats glass is neither half full or half empty....
    Its twice the size it needs to be

    Yes, that makes sense. It also means that what you are trying to do is not likely to work. You have no way of knowing what the program does when opening the file, so guessing at using the DLLs is purely a shot in the dark without even knowing where the dark is. Even if you could find the function (assuming it's just one) that loads a file, how is the program supposed to use it now? That function has to be called from within the program. When you call it from LabVIEW you are not sitting inside the program's memory space, so it has no way of knowing about the file.
    I would suggest, instead, to see if the program accepts command-line parameters. For example, does it accept a name of a file to open as part of launching it from the command line? If not, then you may need to resort to trying to control it via automation. If it has no built-in automation then you need to resort to using the OS to make pretend you're clicking buttons and typing text. This has come up many times before, and there have been numerous posts on this, so please do a search on controlling an external program from LabVIEW within this forum. You can call the Windows API functions to move the mouse to a specific location and click the button as well as typing text, or you can use third-part automation tools. One that I have used successfully is AutoIt. The search I indicated will yield other suggestions.

  • I can't install any adobe cs version due to a pending restart

    I have tried to install adobe packs but the installer kept failing! Accoording to the adobe support advisor, it seems that a restart is still pending.
    My problem is that I've restarted the computer several times, and even checked my windows 7 register for any pending files. Still nothing helped!
    Can you help me with my problem?

    That didn't help at all! My windows is fully up to date.

  • I can't install OS X Mountain Lion due to wrong partition scheme.

    I just bought and downloaded Mountain Lion on my Mac. Now I'm trying to upgrade but seems to fail.
    I made a second partition on the same drive last year to put in Gentoo (unix) on one and by so used a double boot. When i released Gentoo from the harddrive i could no longer make it one partition.
    Now it says that I don't have the right partition Scheme and tells me how to change it. Only problem is that I can't change the partitions. At all.
    What should I do? Clean install? How?

    In Disk Utility, where you were, in the left hand column in the window highlight the Hard Drive that the Partitions are on>in the upper right portion of the window click on the betton "Partition">below that a diagram showing your hard drive with its various partitions will appear> click on one of the Partitions shown that you want to Remove, to highlight it, and click on the "Minus" symbol at the bottom of the column>this action will Remove That partition only.  Repeat these steps for each Partition that you want Removed.  Do NOT remove the Partition that your Main OS is on that you want to keep.  And Removing each of those Partitions will of course DELETE ALL THE DATA contained on each one.  Make backups before you start of anything you want to keep off of them.
    Hope this helps

  • NPTL - Can't do LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.x due to missing libs

    Some of you may be aware that the jack audio connection kit does not play nicely with the NPTL glibc due to problems setting priorities. A workaround for this is, apparently, to set LD_ASSUME_KERNEL to 2.4.19 before starting jack, to use the old threading system. This doesn't work with arch's NPTL glibc - every program that I try to start after setting this env variable complains of missing libs, like libc.so.6 (I think), so I assume that arch differs from other nptl distros in not including the libraries required. Or something. Is there something I can do about this?

    Ok - a glance at the jack-devel archives has solved this for me. Here is a patch I found there that works for me. I called it jacknptl.diff ...

  • Can't install Windows 7 Pro x64 - device driver missing - can't eject DVD

    Hello,
    I am trying to install Windows 7 Pro x64 - I create the partition in boot camp and start windows install process. **During the Windows install process**, it says "A required CD/DVD device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: if the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step".
    Apparently the drivers are on the OSX install DVD. But, there is no way to eject the windows DVD! Why on earth is there no manual eject on Macs? Is there another way to eject? I tried to put a paperclick in the slot next to where a CD is inserted but it didn't do anything. Is there another way to get Windows to see the correct device drivers?
    I am all for clean slick designs, but when it does not have all required functionality, it is kind of useless.
    I am talking to Mac Support and they can't help.
    Looks like I will have to return this Mac, I also need to boot into full Windows (without Parallels or VMWare) to do my work.

    You don't mention what Mac you have, so I'd have to say there is almost no way to help.
    IF the 7 Pro x64 came download ISO thru EDU, you have to burn it, and if you use Disk Utility, at 2X reduced burn speed... otherwise it won't work.
    A VM isn't fussy and can use ISOs.
    If you want both native and VM, to have Windows installed on its own hard drive and use it under OS X, then you have to install it and use Boot Camp Assistant.
    I'd say it is all about your DVD media.

  • Can't resolve Azure publish recycle hang due to missing assembly Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage 2.1.0.3

    Some info on the project: I'm attempting to deploy a simple azure cloud service with a single web role that using ASP.Net Identity and stores the user information in Azure Tables instead of in a database. To accomplish this I'm using the acidentalfish.aspnet.identity.azure
    nugget package to help set up azure tables as a data source.
    Everything runs fine when I run it locally, however when I try to publish to the cloud service it gets stuck in a role recycling loop. None of the error messages provided are very helpful. After some digging online I attached a debugger to WaIISHost,
    and came across this error message:

    stack trace producing errors produced before this one, mostly revolving around Output endpoint SecureWebRoleExample:Endpoint1 not found, followed by the claim that some WindowsAzure.Plugin class could not be found, and before that, that some setting couldn't
    be found, but this error SEEMS like the most likely culprit.
    The odd thing to me here is that none of my code is referencing 2.1.0.3, and I do have binding redirects set up redirecting versions 1.0.0.0-3.0.3.0 to 3.0.3.0, and I can't find a reference to 2.1.0.3 anywhere, so I'm not sure where it's coming from or why
    it only has a problem when published.
    Really the main issue is that it's stuck in a role recycling loop, and after days of digging into it this is the ONLY lead I have, since none of the logs seem to have any pertinent errors, and none of the other processes I've debugged have provided any pertinent
    errors. If I'm not approaching this in the right way, or this error isn't as important as it seems, I would really like to know that too.
    Thanks.

    Hi BStephens,
    I didn't find acidentalfish.aspnet.identity.azure in Nuget pakeage. But I followed stuartleeks 'scode
    sample  and the
    blog  to reproduce your problem, but failed.
    I follow this step:
    1.Create a project and install leeksnet.AspNet.Identity.TableStorage form Manage Nuget Package.
    2.Change connection string on webconfig and webrole setting
    3.Change public AccountController() code, like this :
    public AccountController()
    : this(
    new UserManager<ApplicationUser>(
    new UserStore<ApplicationUser>(RoleEnvironment.GetConfigurationSettingValue("IdentityStore"),
    id => id.GetHashCode().ToString()
    It works fine in my local. I used Storage explore to check login user info.
    But for this issue, I suggest you didn't need install Windows Azure Storage client library(https://www.nuget.org/packages/WindowsAzure.Storage/3.0.3
    ) from NuGet. If you installed it on your project, please remove it. Also, You could create a new project and try stuartleeks's blog step by step. Also, you could see this cloud service which I published on azure. You cloud access it use this IP(http://23.98.41.20:8080/
    Any new info, please let me know.
    Regards,
    Will

  • Can't install provisioned app...   'lentservice' missing

    I am testing a beta application on an iTouch and an iPhone - The developer has both device ID's and has included one (common) provisioning file. However I can install it on the iPhone but not the iTouch. When I synch the iTouch I get an error message that ..
    Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "LentService", were not copied to the iPod "iTouch" because they could not be found.
    The app does not even get copied across to the iTouch. Now I have no idea how this provisioning works but it's curious that one works and the other doesn't. I haven't double checked the developer has the ID correct but would it produce this result - or where else should I look ?
    I have Google searched for 'Lentservice' but it's not productive so I'm wondering if that's a file supplied by the developer - but again why should the other work ?
    Peter

    Well I hadn't updated to v3 yet and after doing so the app now installs . I still get those 'lentservice' errors but I think that must be unrelated. Maybe the app is v3 dependent ...
