Can't Print Excel Worksheet

New ;laptop won't print my Excel worksheets to my HP Officejet Pro 8500.  Windows 7 .  All other items will print.
Error talks about not enough Memory(have even tried printing empty sheet), Network problems(not on network, directly hooked to printer), and loose cables(can't be this because every other program works)
HELP!  Really need to get items printed for work.

Hi there weekster,
Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03275041&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en
It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.
Best of Luck!

  • Can't Print Excel files

Recently I have lost the ability to print Excel files. When I select "Print" the regualr print dialog comes up but when I click the "print" button nothing happens. I can send the files to other people and they can print them just fine. I have tried selecting other printers and the problem remains. I am trying to print to an HP Laserjet 1200 over the school's network. When I go to Print Setup the computer sees the printer and I can set it up just fine. I upgraded to Office 2004 and the problem persists. I can print Word files with no problem.
    Any suggestions?

  • How can I print the worksheets included in an iBook?

A book purchased from iBooks has worksheets available for use. I would like to print them. How can I do this?

On the normal vCard in Contacts I wrote in the name of the foreign country, for example:
    Michael Meyer
    13 Kinsington Road
    VT Worthing
    Great Britain
If I want to print this on an envelope there is no Country in the preview, how can I get in this Example Great Britain on the envelope?

  • Can I prefill forms from an excel worksheet

I am looking for an alternative to typing or copy and pasting names onto forms that I distribute to clients. I am wondering if there is a way I can link an excel worksheet or export data from a document to prefill on each form. Something similar to a mail merge of some type.
    Thank you!

Probably the easiest way to do this is to import the data in Acrobat from a tab-delimited file that you export from Excel. The first row must contain the exact field names and subsequent rows contain one or more records. When you import, you will be able to select a row of data and it will then be used to populate the form. So the workflow is:
    1. Begin by setting up a worksheet to include the field names of the PDF form as the first row.
    2. Populate the worksheet with one or more records.
    3. Save worksheet as a tab-deliimited text file.
    4. Open the form in Acrobat
    5. Import a row of data form the text file. E.g., Tools > Forms > More Form Options > Import Data > [select text file] > [select row]

  • Printing specific Excel worksheets from ePrint on Iphone

I'm attempting to print selected pages from an Excel file via HP ePrint v5.2.1 software on my IPhone 3GS, created by Docs ToGo.  I can get the software to see the file, even show me the second worksheet, which I want to print.  I can save it as a Document in ePrint, but when I print it, all that comes out is the first worksheet.
Is there a way to select specific worksheets when printing?

It has to do with the formatting of excel documents. ePrint doesn't use the same kind of print drivers that a computer uses, so when trying to print excel documents, it doesn't know how interpret the formatting to print it correctly. My solution was to always convert excel documents into PDF before trying to print them. That always seemed to work.
    Best of luck,
    Kyle

  • How can i print an Excel file when in the full screen mode (no print options on toolbar or right clk

using Vista, sometimes after creating and saving an excel file, the document is not visible when the file is reopened.
selecting full screen mode makes the document visible, but the toolbars disappear and the print option does not show up on a right click.  How can i print the document and see the document in some other mode than full screen?

In order to print, you can click the CTRL+P keys to launch the print dialog,
Regarding the missing toolbar, try clicking the ALT key to shouw the software menu, then look around under the view option for any available toolbar settings,
If you cannot find it, i would recommend you to try the Microsoft support forums, as they have some more knowledge with their software features

  • How can i print an excel spreadsheet file by clicking a button on the front panel

i have designed a vi that logs data into an excel spreadsheet. i want to take print out of the file when the user clicks a button on the front panel. what to do if there is very large amount of data.

    Preet,
Printing the Excel sheet is just an ActiveX method call to print the worksheet. To add data to the worksheet, you already have the reference, just call a print method. As for handling large amounts of data, that is a vague question. The data will print how ever you placed it on the worksheet. If what you mean is that you don't want to print out 25 pages every time, the print method has options to only print specific pages or ranges. You may want to play around with a sample spreadsheet to learn the printing options. For help on the ActiveX functions, make sure you have the Visual Basic help installed for Excel.

  • How do I print an excel worksheet so the rows have contrasting shades making it easy to read data across the page?

I want to print an excel worksheet so that the rows are shaded light then dark, light then dark. This helps when reading the data across the page on any selected line. Where do I select that option?

Not sure if it's any better in the version you have, but in earlier versions, you would have to manually select alternating rows using cmd-click in the row numbers and then fill the cells with the lightest possible shade in the fill palette.  Again, in an earlier version, it is possible to use the format painter (use your Excel help for details) to select several rows formatted with the shading and paint that format to an equivalent number of rows elsewhere.

  • Can not open Excel 2003 embedded worksheet in Office 2010

I have seen many similar issues to this but I think I have some unique factors that are making my issue a bit tougher to resolve. I have a user who has a word doc which he opens in Word 2010. This doc has several embedded excel sheets. When he tries to click
one of these embedded excel sheets to edit he gets an error:  "the program used to create this object is excel the program is not installed on your computer". It will give an option to repair which we have tried but it makes no difference.
Some things to note that I think makes this case more unique than others I have googled.
This seems to be the case only with embedded excel 2003 spreedsheets. He can open newer excel 2010 spreedsheets that more more recently added to the file.
He previously had Office 2013 which we had to uninstall, and put Office 2010 on. This was done because of a piece of software this company uses that was not compatible with office 2013. (Personally I think this may be where the problem is as there seem to
be remnants of Office 15 in the registry.)
I have tried the standard fixes of Disabling the Com add-ins, running office repair, and trying to Convert the embedded spreedsheet to an Excel Binary. The convert failed and gave me a generic error about possibly not being allowed to save to the location
or needing more memory or space but none of these are the case.
I have not yet tried to uninstall office 2010 and reinstall and I am hoping that I won't have to. This issue just seems odd to me. Other users can edit these embedded spreedsheets fine which is why I think it has something to do with the fact that he downgraded
    from 2013 to 2010.
Anyone of thoughts, ideas, suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi,
I noticed that use newer excel 2010
spreadsheets that more more recently added to the file. Did you try to embed the Excel 2010 file to Word 2010 test? If it works fine, I suppose that it was a compatibility issue.
Because Excel 2010 had change the file format with Excel 2003.
I recommend you try to install Office 2010 sp2 and compatibility pack.

And there is a similar issue, we also could install the hotfix to test.

  • Create PDF button gone from Excel worksheet

Recently had to restore computer back to factory. I installed full CS4 WebSuite which includes Acrobat. I used to have a PDF button in Excel that would let me create a PDF from an Excel worksheet. How do I get that back? I used to use Office 2003 and now I use Office 2013.
    Thanks so much in advance!

The store is at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html. If you click the upgrade option, you will see the option to upgrade to AA XI from the AA X Suite (whatever that is, I assume CS) or from individual products. In your case it is not an individual product, but a suite. If you have questions or want to see if you can get a deal, you will have to call the Adobe sales folks. We can only repeat what we see and have heard from others (except for those folks who have the suite).
You can still print to the Adobe PDF printer from Excel 2013, if you can get AA9 to work on Win8 (an outside chance, but may require some workarounds). You would just not get links or bookmarks. You might see if there is a MS plugin for creating PDFs from Excel. If there is, you might be able to create the PDFs that way and edit in Acrobat 9.

  • Creating multiple Excel worksheet

    Gurus,
I am downloading data into Excel from my web page by using the following:
    Response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
    HtmlWriter out = aResponse.getWriter();
    out.print(
I am able to view all the data in one Excel worksheet. Does anyone know of a way to create multiple worksheets?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Look at POI at http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/ for an open source library to write Excel with Java.
If you just want to produce a one-off, you can save an Excel workbook as XML and look at that to see how the sheets are produced in XML.
There are also commercial products like Formula One that provide support for reading and writing directly to/from Excel from Java.

  • MFP M127fn connected, test printing OK, can't print from applications

    Hello Everyone!
I have just set up my M127fn via USB on a Windows 8 system. The set up went fine. I have a small stack of test pages from the HP software, but it won't print anything from any applications like MSOffice. The HP diagnostic software (Print and Scan Doctor 4.6)  can communicate with the printer and everything checks out OK.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello!
I have replied twice to your last posting, but have heard no response. Unless a solution can be presented quickly, I fell I must return the product. LPug and play was introduced with Windows 95 and this HP product has not lived up to that 20 year old technological standard. My previous replies are copied below.
    Please respond soon.__________________________________________

    Hello again!
I haven't heard a response to my most recent reply. Is there anything you can suggest before I give up and return this HP product to the store? I would like a quick resolution to this. As an update to my previous email (copied below), printing is no longer working through Adobe Reader.
    Thanks,
    Chris
