Printing specific Excel worksheets from ePrint on Iphone

I'm attempting to print selected pages from an Excel file via HP ePrint v5.2.1 software on my IPhone 3GS, created by Docs ToGo.  I can get the software to see the file, even show me the second worksheet, which I want to print.  I can save it as a Document in ePrint, but when I print it, all that comes out is the first worksheet.
Is there a way to select specific worksheets when printing?

It has to do with the formatting of excel documents. ePrint doesn't use the same kind of print drivers that a computer uses, so when trying to print excel documents, it doesn't know how interpret the formatting to print it correctly. My solution was to always convert excel documents into PDF before trying to print them. That always seemed to work.
Best of luck,
Kyle

  • How do I print an excel worksheet so the rows have contrasting shades making it easy to read data across the page?

    I want to print an excel worksheet so that the rows are shaded light then dark, light then dark. This helps when reading the data across the page on any selected line. Where do I select that option?

    Not sure if it's any better in the version you have, but in earlier versions, you would have to manually select alternating rows using cmd-click in the row numbers and then fill the cells with the lightest possible shade in the fill palette.  Again, in an earlier version, it is possible to use the format painter (use your Excel help for details) to select several rows formatted with the shading and paint that format to an equivalent number of rows elsewhere.

  • 5510 - prints via USB and wirelessly but can't print emails from ePrint on iphone

    Just installed new Photosmart 5510. Prints fine via USB (main computer) and wirelessly (laptop) but I can't print anything from ePrint app on iPhone. HP ePrint Home & Biz works from iPhone but it doesn't have email printing function!

    Hi Andy760,
    From your iPhone, printing email would be from Apple Airprint.  With your email open, touch the action button and select Print.  You might have to select the printer, but it should print fine at that point.
    To send email to print by using ePrint, you would forward the email to the printer's ePrint email address.  Have you registered the printer on www.eprintcenter.com?
    I was an HP employee.

  • USB printing through Time Capsule from Ipad or iphone

    I connected my printer thru the USB of my Time Capsule, and I can print wirelessly from my iMac, but my iPhone and my iPad do not see the printer. It has to be air printing enable or is there other way to do it?
    Thanks!!

  • Upload Specific Excel Sheet from excel file in sap internal table..

    I have an excel sheet and it contains many sheets.. I want to read a specific sheet no.. or that sheet would have sheet name.. i want to read that specific sheet and load its data in the internal table.

    Hello,
    In this case you need to create OLE object and then get specific workbook using it's method.
    For e.g.:
    CREATE OBJECT gh_excel 'EXCEL.APPLICATION'.
    CALL METHOD OF gh_excel 'Workbooks'= gh_mapl.
    You can search SAP help for more information on using OLE objects.
    Thanks,
    Augustin.

  • How do I bar specific incoming numbers from calling my iPhone?

    Hi.
    Recently, I have been getting persistent scam calls from various people trying to sell me "T-mobile upgrades" (for my O2 based UK iPhone 3G S!) and other scam nonsense. Not sure if it relates to the new mobile/cellphone number directory that launched (and then crashed!) in the UK.
    Anyway, I have noticed that one or two numbers persist in calling me, and I want to block them from being able to do this. I think this may be called "call barring" (?), but can find no way of doing this on my iPhone.
    Does anyone know of a way that I can 'blacklist' certain incoming phone numbers? Is this hidden somewhere in the dark recesses of the iPhone settings? Or is there an App I can purchase?
    All help gratefully received, because these jokers are doing my head in!
    Thanks,
    A.

    A solution I've used is an app just now available on iphone app store, called YouMail (dot com) It's FREE, and is a rockin' visual voicemail, plus tons of other features. One neat one is if you upload your contacts, when someone on your list calls, it answers and says "Hello (steve)..." in the announcement. EVERYONE asks how I do that.
    Sign up, and on your PC, set up your account, including a list of BLOCKING numbers.
    I used YouMail on my BB with great success, now on iPhone, not really needed.

  • My pc crashed. All my info is on excel in my pc. I managed to print out excel. Can I transfer the printout to my MacBook Air excel?

    I have a pc that has the majority of my info. Two years ago I purchased a MacBook Air. Recently my pc crashed and I am able to start it up for very short periods of time. One of those moments I printed out a worksheet in excel. My question is am I able to scan the printouts and get the info into my MacBook Air excel, or by any other means. I was unable to save the excel worksheet from my pc into my memory stick, but I can try again, if necessary. Thanks

    If you can fire it up long enought to print, surely you can copy the documents to a flash drive in less time. Keep trying.
    Scanning spreadsheets and using OCR is going to be tough, nevermind getting any formulas.
    If the Hard Drive is not the cause of your maladies, then I would use a USB drive adapter to copy the files to your MBA. The cost of an adapter is around $25-$30. I'd say it beats the heck out of trying to make use of printouts. I use an Apricorn Drive adapter. Since you don't menti0on the cause of the system crash, I can only guess and probability says its the drive though, for which this won't work.

  • My iPhone and my iPad are connected by wi-fi, but I can't print on HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus. On the other hand, I can print over wi-fi from PC. What can I do?

    Hallo, thank you for trying to help. Here is my problem:
    In the past, the airprint was possible without problems from iPhone 4 and iPad 2. Since today it doesn't work anymore. My iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 is connected by wi-fi and I can serve in the internet. But I can't print on HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus. On the other hand, I can print over wi-fi from PC.
    There are low ink-levels and therefore a message comes to indicate this by printing from PC. iPhone and iPad are accepting the print order without any messages after, but does't excecute the print.
    What can I do?

    Hey helmut,
    You can also try the ePrint method listed here if you can't get AirPrint working:

    The application HP home and biz app is free in the app catalogue!
    Hope this helps.

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

    I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
    Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
    I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
    As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
    I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )

    Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
    I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
    One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

    So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
    I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
    Thank you in advance for any help!

    The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
    Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

  • Create PDF button gone from Excel worksheet

    Recently had to restore computer back to factory. I installed full CS4 WebSuite which includes Acrobat. I used to have a PDF button in Excel that would let me create a PDF from an Excel worksheet. How do I get that back? I used to use Office 2003 and now I use Office 2013.
    Thanks so much in advance!

    The store is at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html. If you click the upgrade option, you will see the option to upgrade to AA XI from the AA X Suite (whatever that is, I assume CS) or from individual products. In your case it is not an individual product, but a suite. If you have questions or want to see if you can get a deal, you will have to call the Adobe sales folks. We can only repeat what we see and have heard from others (except for those folks who have the suite).
    You can still print to the Adobe PDF printer from Excel 2013, if you can get AA9 to work on Win8 (an outside chance, but may require some workarounds). You would just not get links or bookmarks. You might see if there is a MS plugin for creating PDFs from Excel. If there is, you might be able to create the PDFs that way and edit in Acrobat 9.

  • Loss of Precision from Model Class to Excel Worksheet

    I suspect I am not using the tableOptions syntax properly. Decimals out to 15 digits are being truncated. I note that in the excel manual custom format precision appears to be available out to 14 digits.
    Any clues appreciated , I also need to set column width to the amount necessary to show the digits. I admit 15 digits are a lot. This is interest rate data. Thanks for any assistance.
    //write the TableData to Excel
    function setExcelData(officeTable) {
    if (officeTable != null) {
    Office.context.document.setSelectedDataAsync(officeTable, { coercionType: Office.CoercionType.Table , tableOptions: {numberFormat: "##.###############"}} , function (asyncResult) {
    if (asyncResult.status == Office.AsyncResultStatus.Failed) {
    app.showNotification('Failure '+ asyncResult.error) ;
    else {
    app.showNotification('Success');

    Hi Doyle,
    >>Decimals out to 15 digits are being truncated
    15 digits is the maximum limit, you could refer the link below for moreinformation:
    #Excel specifications and limits
    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Excel-specifications-and-limits-ca36e2dc-1f09-4620-b726-67c00b05040f?CorrelationId=eacd66b2-3329-4dea-bf98-ad815f2e837f&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
    >> Loss of Precision from Model Class to Excel Worksheet
    What do you mean by “Loss of Precision”? Do you mean that you want to set the value with 15 digits, but it did not work when the digit of the value was less than 15, like when you format “15.123”, you got the value of “15.123” instead of “15.123000000000000”?
    If so, I am afraid that the value of the numberFormat was wrong. You need to set the numberFormat as “##.000000000000000”. The “0” digit placeholder displays insignificant zeros if a number has fewer digits than there are zeros in the format. However, Excel
    does not display extra zeros when the number that you type has fewer digits on either side of the decimal than there are # symbols in the format. The link below shows more details:
    # Create or delete a custom number format
    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-or-delete-a-custom-number-format-83657ca7-9dbe-4ee5-9c89-d8bf836e028e?CTT=1&CorrelationId=1f342fe4-3c64-444a-96ce-2e62498bda51&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
    >> I also need to set column width to the amount necessary to show the digits
    You could set the Cell width to show the digits, the link below shows more details about this.
    # How to: Format tables in apps for Excel
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn535872.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
    In addition, since the original issue is about the Loss of presicion, if you still have any issue about setting column width. I will recommend you post a new thread for the second issue.
    The reason why I suggested is:
    #1 There would be more community members to discuss the question.
    #2 For people who have the similar question, it would be easier for them to find the answer from a specific thread.
    Thanks for your understanding.
