Can't record on my 2nd box, says make sure the main box is plugged in and powered on

getting this error when trying to record on the 2nd box which is not the main box: Please check that your living room is plugged in and powered on so that your programs can record.  Living Room is the main box and it is plugged in and powered on, any know how to resolve this? I'm on hold with Comcast Support for the past 20 min now figured I try the forum. Also I just installed the equipment yesterday so this has never worked. I can watch TV on both of them and get the Guide OK so they are clearly communicating with the mother ship.  thanks

The health check on your account did reveal some signal issues particularly with that box. As John said, something is preventing that box some receiving/relaying optimal signal which very well could be what's causing your recording issue. It's recommended to have a tech come out to correct everything. You can send me days/times that work best for you and I'll set one up.
